Re: Poll: Was Summer Game Fest Live a Show to Remember?

chicken_chaser

Routine's comeback was a surprise ... so was Witchfire's.
Fort Solis seemed pretty intriguing.
Callisto Protocol's gameplay was brutal and awesome.
And MWII's visual was pretty jaw droppin'
Got to see Nightingale's gameplay as well.
Internet ruined the TLOU Remake surprise.

Overall : Not bad. Pretty good.
Don't know what colossal expectations people were having tbh

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Sniper Elite 5?

Surprisingly ... many folks are liking the new SE
I liked 3 & 4 .... and kinda appreciate another one
but that's it ... time to pause devs.
Take a break and reinvent the series a bit. Looking a bit stale now.
But I know ... you devs are already hard at work at making another Zombie Sniper Elite out of this one.

So, the game rumors are : More info on FFXVI, RE2R+RE3R+RE7 next gen update showcase (+RE4 Remake tease, maybe), GTA V next gen trailer, Hogwarts Legacy gameplay & update on GoW Ragnarok.
This is the newest rumor that's been making rounds in Twitter : A secret Konami project tease

There are other rumors also ... but 20mins time limit makes them more doubtful like : TLOU MP project tease, Twisted Metal revival by firesprite, SF6 trailer & possibly the long rumored Project Spartacus

Yea the show was too long ... but the reveals were pretty good.
I dont know what massive expectations some people were having, but it was a micro-E3.
We got announcements and sneek-peaks from Arc Raiders, Star Wars Eclipse, Monolith's Wonder Woman, Aaryn Flynn's Nightingale, Alan Wake 2, Space Marine 2, Plague Tale Requiem, Suicide Squad, Slitterhead, Senua II, Horizon Forbidden West, Evil West and Sonic Frontiers.
And that's not including Steelrising and many more ...

Re: This Is What the GTA Trilogy Looks Like on PS5, PS4

" ... using Unreal Engine to make these classics more vibrant and more immersive than ever "
Nah, Its still renderware.
That Unreal Engine rumor was misleading.
If they're doing it in UE, then it should be a Remake. But its just a remaster.
So ... Its using UE4 as a frontend for various UI elements for the trilogy's bundle/common launch menu.
Grand Theft Auto Trilogy remasters are being developed by Rockstar Dundee, which previously worked on the Halo: The Master Chief Collection under the name Ruffian Games.
The same devs used UE4 frontend for the MCC collection's UI and menus previously.
This remaster is not actually being made in Unreal Engine.
Its the same ol' GTA III,VC, SA code made using Renderware. Just spruced up a bit. Similar to Halo MCC.

Re: Crysis Remastered Trilogy (PS4) - A Franchise with an Identity Crysis

@Dan_ozzzy189 A fellow FEAR fan here.
The reason FEAR's AI was lauded during 2005~6 was purely because how the environment was designed around it. FEARs AI only works in tight corridors. Open World? Not so much.
Crysis' AI was deliberately dumbed down so that player can enjoy the nuances the game offers, freely. There are more to it than this, in both cases(games) here but I am keeping it brief.

Re: Call of Duty: Vanguard PS5, PS4 Alpha Test - Dates, Times, and How to Play

chicken_chaser

It was fast paced but the respawn mechanic is messy. Spawns you right in front of the enemy sometimes. And it is just because the maps are too small.
By the time game figures out the player's respawn location, the rival player has already sprinted there unknowingly.
Its sometime very tense, especially during the later half of the elimination rounds.
But its same ol' CoD. Nothing new. Just a spin on MW gunfight with player loadout choice.
