More "powah"... What about more games?! (firstparty for all the wordtwisters out there). Everyone likes flashier games and whatnot, but I want Playstation to get back in the productionflow they had last gen. Great singlepalyer games, surprises and so on.
This time will be the first time the last 30 years I'm not 100% I will preorder next console from Sony. If they don't step up this gen I stick to my backlog for a loooong time.

@REALAIS They had 21 studios but they shut down more studios than they release games last years. Slow - compared to last gen.

@REALAIS Ghost comes in october, like a year after Astrobot. If that's ok for you, so be it. But I don't like the slow releaseschedule from Sony's own studios.

@SirSephy LOL, I assume you mean that random outdoor boss with a lot of revenants around it? I died alot but got it when I charged my Guardian Spirit and after I used it I charged it again with amrita crystals and nuked the boss down. 🦾😉✌️

Finished the Nioh 3 Alpha Demo with 100% completion on map and just beat the bonus mission on the next difficulty. Best demo the last 20 years in my opinion. Can't wait for the full game to come next year. They usually release in Feb/March so I hope this game will too. Tomorrow I probably play some PoE2. Or farm some more "titles" in Nioh 3 demo

@get2sammyb For me Sonys 1st party has been underdelievering during the PS5 generation so far apart from release window. Sorry if I was unclear.

And now there is no excuse for other companies not to have 60FPS / Quality for their games on the Pro!! This is proof it can be done if the project is lead by competent people.

This game will be my GOTY 2026 together with Nioh 3 !!!

Did they mention if you get a unique armor /weapons if you beat the endboss in the demo and import the save to the game when released as they did with Nioh and Nioh 2??.
I save my "save" on my PS5 just in case.

10/10 Nioh 3 announcement and downloading the Nioh 3 Alpha demo as I type this. That was all I needed from this SoP. And Bondgame looks DOPE!!

But at the time it was known that the studio tripled the expected cost on this project and Sony got fed up with it and set a releasedate that they needed to deliever on. Same as Driveclub. Great games but they got stuck in development for too long so Sony pulled the plug on the projects. A real bummer in my opinion, in both cases!

Only news we get from PlayStation this generation has been cancelled games and price increases. I miss last gen, it was a blast every single day to be a PS fan / player... 🤷

Swedish PS5 Pro Price: 10495 sek (swedish kronor)
PS5 Pro release price 699$ = 6945 sek
Tax on electronics in Sweden 20% - 6945 x 1.20 = 8334 sek!! (That's 839$ !! - and should be the REAL price here a few $ more or less)
10495 minus 8334 = 2161 sek down in Sonys greedy hands as pure profit. (2161 sek = 217,50$)

So no, our taxes isn't the real problem. It's the 25% profit on each sold PS5 Pro that Sony takes out and put in it's pockets.
My very good friend who works as a seller of Iphones towards companies told me that Apple makes about 8% per sold unit here in Sweden. 8% > 25%.. Do I need to say more?

Actually I say one more thing: The release price is what Sony wants to sell it for and still make profit. But regardless they choose to drain their Swedish gamers with an extra 25% on the Pro. I don't support it now, and I will sure not support it if PS6 have the same fantasy pricesetting !

@doctommaso Here in Sweden the Pro is 10495 swedish kronor. Thats exactly 1050 dollars.... Not even Sony wants to answer why they rip of the European costumers like this.
So it's comparable for sure.

@Badl4ndz If you go to the game on PS5 Store it shows both versions at the bottom of the screen.

@rusty82 Yeah, usually it is crossbuy. But I guess as a small developer they think they can earn a little more this way.

@rusty82 Same here, my wishlisted game was the PS4 version. I think it should default to PS5 version when you play on PS5 and have only your PS5 connected to the app. Room for improvement here Sony. Waiting for support to answer now to get refund so I can buy the correct version...

Edit: over 20 min in queue, 2.5 min to get refund back on my account. Wow, that was indeed fast!! I guess they just canceled the amount reserved from my bank so it got released instantly. Now I bought the PS5 edition and downloading

@Lysterao I can't recall Sony Corporation ever buying up a Publisher like Activision Blizzard, or Zenimax (owning Bethesda and a few other studios)??
Sony has bough a few studios that they worked close with, but not an entire publisher so that's a bad example from you.
And Playstation has always been a closed environment, that's what most of us like about it to begin with.
DVD was always Open Source so yet another bad example.
You not even comparing apples and oranges, more like apples and coconuts.
So no, Sony didn't start the trend of buying up publishers.

No thanks I stick with No Mans Sky. And ofc it's been in development for a while for the PS5, it was developed exclusive for PS5 to begin with before M$ started to gobble up the entire market and put the game on hold..

@ItsBritneyB_tch Season 1 was waaaaay to rushed too. I know it was probably a budget thingie, but they skipped so many essential scenes in my opinion. Hardly any infected at all in some episodes. I hope they fix that in Season 2.

@Dalamar Diffrence is Nintendo never had trophies. But I been collecting platinums since mid PS3 gen when they were introduced. So ofc they should be used as they are in the devkits!!
I have a few hundred platinums so it's nice to keep the 100% trend going

It's the same game. You can't convince me otherwise because it's just not true that the same game can be 2 different games.

@KilloWertz Try start your PS5 , turn OFF autoupdates on games, Turn Off your PS5. Restart with new setting and now turn it ON again and turn it (PS5) off to save the settings. Now see if that reset make it work again?
If you have GT7 installed you should see the new patch download today unless it was relesed in your country yesterday, here it will be released soon.

@KeanuReaves It's still not a "new" game as you can buy and play it on PS3 and PS4.. Same game, different graphics.

@themightyant I stand corrected. But I was talking about 1st party only. And I forgot to add non sports, non multiplayer - just single playergames, as that is all that I play anyway.
And you mention Rise of Ronin and so on, those aren't made by 1st party. And MLB, who plays that apart from americans and very VERY few europeans?
And now we count Spiderman games, Horizon and God Of War all of a sudden, even if they are more PS4 games than PS5 games if we are honest?? Don't think so.

To be clear, I meant 1st party only and games that are only released on PS5. Not crossgen.

@Oram77 Sucker Punch haven't released anything yet so no. I forgot Housemarque but that's still a total of 5 studios out of 19 that actually released anything for the PS5 counting Bend's Demon's Souls Remake almost 5 years ago....

@CWill97 PS5 has been really weak for most Playstation studios you mean? Insomniac and Team Asobi it keeping Sony afloat together with Arrowhead Games Studio (Helldivers 2)

Going into this generation Sony had 21 first party studios, aquired a few more and now the got rid of a few and have less during the beginning of the last half of this generation.
They need to sort this out a.s.a.p.
No need to buy a PS6 at release as they haven't even got their PS5 games out yet...
