Bug or not, PSNetwork has been down for over 6 hours here in Sweden. Fix it Sony so I can do my daily races in GT7....You can add ads or whatnot some other day.

@amatmulisha @Eleventy8 Same here. Using my OG PS5 alot! Still completely quiet, unless you put the ear towards the console plate of course, then you hear a soft hum from the fan.

@EddieGallad Yeah, 700$ is nothing compared to swedish price for Pro 10.495 Swedish Crown that equals 1014$.
The 30th Anniversary Pro was 14.495 swedish crown ~ 1436$.
The pro is exactly double the price that I paid for my OG PS5 on releasedate here in Sweden. Now they upped the price on PS5 slim over the last months and they really increased the slimprice ALOT the day before Pro preorders started. Anything to make that Pro price see more reasonable huh Sony?!

@RiceC03 I guess they just do this to learn/experiment how to push Last Of Us Part III to the limit in the future. Or the other I.P they are working on.

Regular Pro sold out in about 5 minutes here in Sweden, Anniversary Bundles / items even faster.

I'll upgrade just to do the New Game Plus playthrough on native PS5... But soon Sony /Playstation MUST have done everything released after Bloodborne so it can finally be BB's turn to get a remaster/remake?? PrettypleasewithsugarontopSony!

@Chupa_loyzer If it ain't broke, why fix it?? I have never played the Batmangames so I have no idea about that, but Spiderman and Ghost Of Tsushima are 2 different worlds my friend. Or did I miss the spiderweb slinging in GoT? Damn, must replay it.

Day One. I totally understand that they did a spinoff now and holds Ghost Of Tsushima 2 for the PS6 reveal, because from what they said years ago, a sequel to GoT1 would be HUGE in scope.

If it took you 30 hours to fight a hoard, sorry, but if so, you truly sucked at this game. First hoard, minihoard is like 1-2 hours into the game.
Actually, it took me 43 hours to platinum the game, and I didn't spend last 13 hours only killing hordes...

90€ that I gladly paided for a great game. But after 15 hours and Platinum'd it, I reflected on the price per hour!! Even D4 was just slighty more expensive and I played that for 1900 hours and counting.... AstroBot might be 1000% better than D4, Assassin's Creed games, GT7 and so on, but I'll never buy a 15 hour game ever again for nearly 100€.
Hell, I downloaded the new PS5native- Path Of Exile client 2 days ago and has nearly 20 hours in it, for free!!!
AstroBot should have been priced as Helldivers 2, but this is GreedySony2024™ we are talking about...
Every move Sony makes lately always feels the same for me as a hardcore PSgamer; they just suck me dry on money with very little return. Bring on 1st party games like in the PS4 era: Driveclub, BLOODBORNE, Uncharted 4, God Of War 2018, Horizon, Killzone, Littlebig Planet (ok that's Astrobot this gen), The Order 1886, Until Dawn and so on and on and on.
Remasters, bah, we bought the PS5 mainly for NEW games, Hermen Hulst, get with the program!!

I still remember Jim Ryan : "We still believe in generations" just before the PS5 was released. That fooled me to buy one...99% so far of this "generation" is remakes,remasters, crossgen-games and an overload of hardware. (And this failed push for liveservicegames!)
But you can count Sony's 1st party PS5 (only!) games on one hand... And now more remasters and the overpriced Pro.
Sony has lost it's way with Playstation this "generation".

Edit: Last of us Part 1 would cost me 899 swedish krona (right now on PS Store). Thats 66.85£ or 88.31$.
I bought both PS3 day one and PS4 day one and now I need to pay full price again if I want it native on PS5. Never gonna happen. Don't support the greed when Sony don't support their most loyal customers like me.

Edit 2 I could actually upgrade PArt 2 for 105 swedish krona. About 10€... Why not the first?!

It will probably be like Last Of Us Part 1, no upgrade path, just shell out 70€ or more to play it again. Sony has become so so greedy this generation.

@LifeGirl Inflation is one thing, but the wages haven't been raised at the same rate, that is what's making the Pro's price so ridiculousy high. Plus the fact it's a recession going on, at least here in Europe.

And everyone here must understand one thing: And this is important! When Sony or any company talks about we break even, we take a loss and so on when talking about their product it's ALWAYS including the percentage that is calculated including the dividend (spelling?) to the shareholders and the mothercompany itself. In this case Playstation. So if they cut down their share of 20-30% of the units price and took out lets say a profit distrubition of 10% the actual console would be 10-20% cheaper. And now I'm talking about the regular PS5.
My entire point from post one about the Pro. Don't support the greedy shareholders and uppermanagement of Sony/Playstation just 'because'.
It only hurt us customers in the end. Hence me getting a "little" worked up when uninformed people invent reasons to protect that greed. It sounds good what they say, but it ain't right to be honest.
But I leave you guys to celebrate the overexpensive Pro and I will remember every defender here when the PS6 is released. And I'm not going to be thankful of the sheepmentality, that's for sure.

I play 10 hours a day mon - fri each week, pretty much every week of the year apart from summerholiday and christmas, but I don's want it to be a PC, I know I bought a console and Sony should of course relase hardware - but now they sold us the PS5 and PSVR2 - maybe they should spending that Pro money on actual games for us to buy?!! Crazy idea right?
I played 99% 3rd party this generation and I think it sucks if you consider how little input Sonys own teams have during the first 4 year of PS5s lifetime. It started off fine, died out, and this year they had a fluke with Helldivers 2 and a superb entry with Astro Bot2.
But nothing to really look forward to apart than a PC-priced Pro... That is a bleak future.
But hey, be you and cheer that crap on, I wont!!

You are one of the problems with this situation tbh. The Ps5 Pro will be pretty much twice as expensive as the OGPS5 that included drive and stand. And you defend it, that's the whole issue here. We can't let them get away with it!!
If we do, PS6 will cost 1200€, The PS6 Pro 1500€ and people like you can never complain about it, because you more or less 'greenlit' it if you accept the Ps5 Pro's price!!
This isn't about "affording" as much as pull the reins on Sony and the gaming industry imho.

It was also kinda sad they only showed their remakes of a remake in their Pro trailer. I know they probably show more new games next week, but anyway, please rewatch PS5 Pro trailer and tell me it didn't feel like a PS4 Pro showcase?!!

@sop And that average salary might be about right, but the living costs, food costs, electric bills etc has gone throught the roof this last year. And now the consoles follows suit. Disgusting.

@sop But it's a console, not a highend PC but they still push that agenda to make it 'luxury'-item instead of 'for all players' like the PS2 for example.

Yey yey, "I don't need to buy one" some say, but when you have been an enthusiast like me since PS1 release it's hard to just quit gaming, but this price actually took the enthusiasm out of this enthusiast so to speak. I been on this ride for centuries, but this isn't a good price for consoles. This price is what made me skip PC gaming all those years back.
I think Sony's leadership needs a little reality check to be fair.
I got the money, but the worth isn't in the Playstationbrand anymore. This is just a quick cashgrab after years of no 1stparty hits raking in their money and Concordecrap.
And now WE, their hardcore crowd are meant to pay with a kidney to fill their big empty chest of gold.... Don't think so.

@NoHope What problems, I have a Day One Release Ps4 Pro and to this day I have had ZERO problems with it unless you count stickdrift no the controller that was bundled with it.
So what problems? Or did you just read it on 'reddit'?!
Edit: I can give you the 'jetengine-syndrom' but that was after 6-12 months, not at release!

@trev666 That's not what Druckmann said in an interview after they canned it. The long term monetization was only part of it, the rest was "we didn't want to tie up all our resources in a 10-year plan for one game only".
That sounds like he was only talking about Naughty Dog's "resources", doesn't it?
