@Ravix That was not really my point was it?, gameplay before grapfics was the main take away.

They can ditch raytracing if that means games comes out sooner , in my opinion. Gameplay is king, easy as that.

@Sanquine I'm with you on this, I love Hitman 1 - 3 , I unlocked everything ingame, as it should be. Only dlc you can buy there is new levels and addons. As it should be.
People in general should just boycott every dlc that is only skins, dances, and crap like that.

@BentIeyma I don't think that is true, if you mean "made by" each company you're right, but Sony has published tons of games this year alone, like Nioh 3 and so on.

@RoomWithaMoose Buying up studios to make a "franschise" an "xbox title" aint an accolade in my book. Multiplayer wasnt initself made by M$, I played WoW and a lot of other online games long before M$ got involved so to quote yourself " factually untrue".
But good for you if you like any of the M$ published games back in the day, I didn't myself. I have been 100% PS /PC back in the day so I was really happy with that. Now I'm 100% Playstation gamer since 2014 and still pretty happy about everythnig except Sony's focus on failed multiplayergames. I miss the PS3 /PS4 era the most, including a real push for VR and stuff like that.
Sony 2026 seems most on cruisecontrol but I hope that shift back now with Jim Ryan gone, I think the japanese leaders want a more traditional "Playstation first" view on the future, or I like to hope that is true anyway.

@UnlimitedSevens Agree 100% with all you said. And yes, Push Square has felt like "Xbox Square" for some years now. As a 100% PS gamer I can't understand the focus on M$ here as they have done nothing, NOTHING!, to make our gaming better that last 20 years or so... (Imho).

I said it day one, multiplatform will kill Playstation but all I got was hate. And here we are.

Sony need to pull Uncharted from the hands of Druckmann and make a new trilogy in my opinion. Uncharted is my topmost fond memories from Playstation together with Bloodborne.
But Sony doesn't seem to want my money so...

Nioh 3 and I love it! Many games will be sidelined now in the coming weeks. But I need to find time to try the Warlock DLC I bought for Diablo 2 Ressurected.

@Ravix Going to my newly upgraded PS5/PS4 version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance on my PS5, all the DLC at the bottom costs money and no other is available for purchase, free or not.
I own PS4 version of the game since before and bought all DLC on last summersale and it wont upgrade for free.

Edit: To clarify, I upgraded the basegame for free so that worked, but not the DLC's. I submitted a ticket to Sony asking why this don't work and why it's so complicated these days. On PS4 it was just add the updated game for free to librabry, download and play.
Now all these hoops to jump through, well it's getting ridicilous in my opinion.

@Lorcansface (On your PS5 instore) You should see "Game - price around 30 quid or so" Press down error to next "Game - Choose version"
Pick the PS5 version and "choose download" - it will be added to your store checkout, at least did for me, and at the checkout the PS5/PS4 version should be FREE. If so, "buy it" for free.
Stupid complicated upgrade system by Sony, have had this happen 3 times for different games now. 1 step forward, 5 steps back scenario.

@VeganH The "A.I plays the game" patent is 100% to fight of against any AI bot program in the future. If someone beats a game with A.I and gets loads of Platinums each day Sony can drag them to court with " we own this patent and we don't allow it".
Only way to stop A.i.cheaters legally. Maybe not the "only" but the easiest way to stop it.

@Brundleflies21 I think it's more about securing the patents so no YT'ber start a "pod" with Sony /Playstations characters.

IF Sony would do a pod it would probably be ingame if the game have some sort of radiostation broadcasting ingame, like the GTA-games.

Just read that review (from 2024) and it seems Ultros combat was rated "mid" so I wonder, have anyone played it recently, and if so, is the combat better now? Seems like an interesting title to have fun with for a while at least.

@MrMajeeny Calling a new entry "new game plus" is clearly a negative attitude towards the game, you can fool yourself but not me. And I know many don't like it and that's fine, just tired of many articles here have first post a "hateful, negative" - it's not for me but I must trash it -vibe...

First post and you don't even seem to like the game, so why bother vomiting over it? I can't see myself walking over to my neighbour and say " I hate synth music, I prefer Heavy Metal" and just leave without explanation lol.
Nioh 3 will have it's share new things but I wont bother telling you as you clearly wont play it so that info is of no use to you.

Push Square - you should remove every first hatepost that just ***** on any game in your forums, I seen it quite a few times in the last weeks. Seems like a trend we don't need in 2026 in my opinion.

And if you beat the demoboss you get a "Twin-snake helmet" as a reward as an ingame item. I assume that is like the +5% XP leveling helmet we got with Nioh 2 demo.

But I agree, it's a great game.

What was new in Elden Ring? I platinumed it, I saw all endings and so on, but still, it was Dark Souls but it in open world enviroment.
No new mechanics, nothing really new to be honest.
So that comparison was a bad one in my opinion.

I still think it's something related to Elden Ring 2. Erdtree and so on. I'm usually wrong but it's fun to guess. ;P
