Re: Path of Exile 2: All Release Times and How to Get Early Access

Zeke68

@Vorflynn Gameplaywise - harder than D4 for sure. It's a slower more impactful combat in PoE2.
But the systems and UI has all been reworked to help new players learn the game much easier according to the videos GGG showed so far. If you play at your own pace, read the tooltips and experiment a little you'll be fine. And most important: explore everything and kill all optional bosses for extra skills and unique loot.

Re: Path of Exile 2: All Release Times and How to Get Early Access

Zeke68

@Bentleyma I think most people are just like you. I felt the same way "pay -early access" - bummer...
But the more I seen from the game the more I wish it was friday
I'll drop 370 on the biggest pack as I love those hideouts and armor. But that's just me. Got the money so I thought, "why not!"

Re: Path of Exile 2: All Release Times and How to Get Early Access

Zeke68

@ozkrmz Yes, but Early Access (like a beta) will cost money to get into. In about 12 months they release the finished game (at the moment done to 90%) and then it WILL be free.
If you like this game you can jump in now for a fee, 30 bucks and upwards, otherwise you need to wait at least 6-12 months. Totally up to you.

  • This friday you get first 3 acts of the story and 6 classes to play plus an extensive endgame.
  • During the EA you get an additional 3 acts and the last 6 classes (12 in total).
  • When the game officially relelases in a year you get the last and final Act 7 to play.
    Hope this helps.

Re: Path of Exile 2: All Release Times and How to Get Early Access

Zeke68

@Flaming_Kaiser ??? What's unclear? All supporterpacks and prices are now covered on Path Of Exile.com.
In about a year it's going out of Early Access (beta) and it's free to play, entire campaign 7 acts and largest endgame in the ARPG genre including the 12 classes. Still don't get what unclear to you?
Guild Wars 1 isn't even a game like PoE2 so I don't get what you are on about. Responded to wrong post by way? I never mentioned online fee or anything about honesty??
Just woke up so really confused here lol.

Re: Path of Exile 2: All Release Times and How to Get Early Access

Zeke68

@Jayslow No it's not. If you buy the $30 dollar EA pack you use those 300 point in the ingame store and buy yourself some stashtabs, seem people suggest: 1 currency stash tab, 1 premium stash tab (upgrade) and 1 each of mapstash tab and waystone stashtab.
But I'm sure people that played PoE for the last 10-11 years will post videos on what tabs to buy this weekend, so get the EA and just use the 4 bank tabs you get with the game to get started, that's what I plan to do.

Re: Path of Exile 2: All Release Times and How to Get Early Access

Zeke68

@Liam You make it seem like $30 option is the only way to get into Early Access of Poe2, these will be sold on PS Store on friday 6th December:

  • Path Of Exile 2 Early Access Supporter Pack $30
  • Lord of Ogham Supporter Pack $60
  • King Of The Faridun Supporter Pack $100
  • Thaumaturge Of The Vaal Supporter Pack $150
  • Warlord Of The Karui Supporter Pack $220
  • Liberator Of The Wraeclast Supporter Pack $370
  • Twilight Order Foil Reliquary Submission pack $110 (REQUIRES Liberator Of The Wraeclast Supporter Pack !!)

$30 Just gives a key and 300 points, the others give key, points equal to it's price ($60=600 points, $100=1000 points and so on)and MTX like armour and pets.
Edit: 4 days to go!!!

Re: Bloodborne Server Maintenance Scheduled for PlayStation's 30th Anniversary

Zeke68

@Rambo-kind "Sony is going to torture us endlessly, right?"
You mean Push Square and their false hope-articles?!! Sony just does some "maintenace" in this case and this cough*reporter*cough make up this fantasy about some surprise. Don't pin that on Sony. They said nothing of this that this cough*reporter*cough try to put words in their mouth...

Re: Bloodborne Server Maintenence Scheduled for PlayStation's 30th Anniversary

Zeke68

I said it earlier, at this point Push Square just take any far fetched rumour to troll us about BB. Not nice.

@EfYI The beginning? First packs in that townsquare?, first optional boss?(Cleric Beast), First real boss? (Father Gascoigne)
Until you at least cleared Father Gascoigne you haven't really tasted the sweetness that is Bloodborne. And that is nothing compared to the entire journey. It may not be for everyone, but if you give it time, you won't regret it.
Don't be so fast to write it off.

Re: PS Plus Essential Games for December 2024 Announced

Zeke68

Already own Aliens Dark Descent, the others I have no interest in.
I will play PoE2 on my PS5 anyway from 6th december and for the rest of the year mixed up with some daily races in GT7 so I don't mind this being a meh month for me on Plus.

Re: Sony's Latest First-Party Release Is Struggling to Do Concord Numbers on PC

Zeke68

Ditch Pc support for a few years and get the core production going for PS5/PS5 Pro first and then you can look at the PC market. We, the backbone of Playstation Nation gets bread crumbs for the last few years, sprinkled with GaaS and kid games.
Bring on Bloodborne II, Uncharted 5, Days Gone 2 and Corey's new game and some new mature singleplayer I.P's and we the lifetime long supporters can have some fun too.

Re: 'Mind Boggling' Horizon Forbidden West Has the Best Console Image Quality Ever on PS5 Pro

Zeke68

"you're right. It's not the same. The PS5 Pro will be obsolete in 3-5 years along with it's game library (most likely). My steam account will be good until the day I die....just a fact "

So you ran out out arguments and pulled out your inner PCfanboy? What you just said has nothing to do with the topic we discussed. And no, the Pro, and the OG PS5 for that matter wont be obsolete in that timeframe. My OG PS1 is still going strong and does exactly what it was intended to do and so is my PS2.

And my PS5 gamelibrary will work just fine on the PS6 for sure, so I don't see how you think you can have a point to begin with. ??
I still have access to ALL my games on my PS3 so Sony is actually taking really good care of my games (not to be forgotten: my PS4/PS5 games) But I lost 2 games on Steam since 1996ish... So that's that.

Re: Fans Are Concerned Until Dawn PS4 Could Be Delisted Following PS5 Remake's Release

Zeke68

@VatoLoco47 That's probably because it was considered a "trial" of some sort if I remember correctly. But I can download Driveclub, Bikes, and all the DLC as I bought it about 10 years ago.
I have a few delisted PS3 games (digital) that I bought on sale that I can still download to my OG PS3. (A God Of War Collection and a few games like that) So Sony seem to take my digital library serious and that feels good.

Re: Until Dawn PS5 Remake's New Ending Leaked, May Hint at Possible Sequel

Zeke68

I just contacted PS Support to have them remove my preorder for this remake. I knew from the developers that it would be new stuff in the remake but not a new ending...
Now thanks to Push Square I will save my money and buy on a sale. I thought playing it day one would save me from spoilers but this site had to put it in the headline day before release. Big longfinger to you Push Square for this one!!

Re: PS5 Pro 'Absolutely Rocks', According to No Man's Sky Engine Programmer

Zeke68

@Tomato_Goose Yes I thought it was great with 1st PSVR2 patch, but a few months later they released a revamp of the entire PSVR2 ingameengine in a new patch (current version) and it looks so much better imo!!!
Edit: That said, I only played PSVR1 before so I can't compare it to any other VR-headset on the market.
Edit 2: And to answer your question, yes I pretty much only play the game on my PSVR2, have a few hundreds hours in it (since PSVR2 launched). So yes, I assume I think it's good in VR

Re: PS5 Pro 'Absolutely Rocks', According to No Man's Sky Engine Programmer

Zeke68

Imagine how it has been a cutting edge graphics showcase from PS4 to the PS4 Pro /PSVR1-combo over to PS5 -PSVR2-combo and now the PS5 Pro/ PSVR2 combo.
They just improve that engine over and over following Sony's evolution of PS-consoles.
No Man's Sky universe is on another level imho. I love to lose myself into that world for hours at the time.
