Hoping for that Rise of the Ronin demo

They make alot of lackluster games, for every Tekken, there's a Jujutsu Kaisen. So many niche titles with very few having mainstream success

@Americansamurai1 Thats because Sony is lining its remakes and remasters up with their movie/tv productions. They want people to watch the show, then head down, buy a PS5 and a shiny new copy of the last of us

Yes and no, my most anticipated game in years. I've seen too much but will still watch

8 was a great game, I think I prefer 7 though as it was more of a celebration of the series and dripping in nostalgia

Does this basically confirm that the next Naughty Dog game will be the original IP. That would be awesome, it’s been over 10 years since they did something new

100% if Death Stranding 2 is 2025, then this could possibly be 2029/30, surely we will be gaming on ps6 by then

You forgot the brilliant Silent Hill Ascension, which was also a really bad product. Silent Hill 2 looked rough, not setting a great precedent for the future of the series

Wow, was thinking about the studio yesterday and how it must be close to announcing a 4th title. Guess not now. Square Enix only has 4 development studios now and Taito, are they streamlining for a acquisition

Id imagine all the leaks will come true as its from a reputable leaker. As for other titles, there's a few things still left on the table from past SOP's, where Braid anniversary, Little Devil inside, Synduality? We might see some launch trailers for Foamstars or Pacific Drive? Capcom usually turns up, so time for Pragmata?

I just hope there's a big surprise or 2, but honestly with what's leaked its already looking like the best SOP ever

Nah will still be linear, happy it will have more nooks and crannies to explore though

PlayStation is publishing a huge amount this year, TLOU2R, Helldivers 2, MLB 24, Lost Soul Aside, Rise of the Ronin, Stellar Blade, Concord, Convallria, maybe Spiderman 2 DLC.
Most of these titles we know nothing of really, no marketing, no hype, just trailers that go for a couple of minutes.

2024 I would like them to be more transparent, I know games are taking longer to develop, and the pull to live service has delayed some studios, but I would still like to know what they're cooking, a big showcase is needed (pretend the 2023 one didn't happen).

I like what microsoft is doing with the developers direct, something like that would be appreciated, where we get a deep dive into 4-5 games.

Hopefully the new CEO will take it in a better direction

Was a good game, plenty of room for improvement though, i look forward to doing year 6 in the sequel

Obviously this must be my favourite genre. There’s heaps of big 2023 titles I haven’t played, but I’ve played all of these, even have the plat for 4 of them. SM 2 is the winner for me

I got 14 right! I would have thought Death Stranding 2 was a shoe in and Elder Ring dlc as well. And can’t believe no muttered a single mention of GTA.

A Astro's Playroom sized sequel to this would be a great addition to the PS5 library

I'm seeing a lot of hate for this month, but for me its ones of the better lineups. I'm having a lot of fun with teardown, and for the nostalgia ill play Klonoa(only ever played the PS1 demo) Jet Moto and maybe Grandia if they include trophy support.

Also Superliminal looks up my alley, so for me 8/10 month

Its a great game, still feel GoW 18 was better, when TLoU launched on PS3 and I played it I don't think anything's come close to that experience so thats still my favourite. I prefer Horizon and Uncharted to the GoW series as well

Feel sorry for the developers, obviously the leaders of these development studios saw the embracer $$ and signed up, it was always going to collapse as nothing worthwhile has come out of any of these embracer group acquisitions, you need money coming in to support this spending and I don't think they've had one big hit yet and unfortunately the employees on the bottom rungs are the ones affected

That's a shame, I'm apart of a trophy community on twitter and we all share direct from PlayStation to x our recent platinum's and milestones.

X(twitter) is getting worse anyway, its becoming very hateful and full of propaganda every minute

That's because we will see some DLC, Miles Morales 2 and potentially a silk spinoff where Miles will be the main.I guarantee with Green Goblin as the main antagonist in 3 Peter Parker will step out of retirement and be the leading Spider-Man again

Switch 2 confirmed for mid year, the rumors' said Remake was running on it to the same standard as PS5

Yeah its why i have zero hype for this game. I was a massive GTA fan back in the day, IV derailed it a bit, V's single player was great but they've milked that online for 10 years now and i feel like the single player in VI might take the backseat like CoD singleplayer campaigns

Yep, I'm a trophy hunter and in the trophy hunting community and my twitter feed is everyone popping the plat, its crazy how popular it is and how many people are exploiting it

Understandable, a game inspired by Game of Thrones is hardly going to be appealing in Japan. In saying that the game is very Final Fantasy and has references to so many past entries. Im sure sales will do fine worldwide though.

Will be interesting to see DQXII as they're going for a darker more serious tone for that game as well

Translation: it's a free to play title where people buy robux, we at Sony want to know the best way to monetise it so we make a good portion of the profit

Crazy to think that since 2014 when they released Dragon Age Inquisition they have had 2 flops in nearly 10 years, Anthem and Mass Effect Andromeda, so no wonder they're laying off people. They would of made a little bit off the Mass Effect collection and SWTOR might bring a bit of revenue. Sad to see but its the state of the world right now

@Sequel understandable when you look at the past couple of years as most of the games that have dominated are Japanese, Elden Ring, Zelda, FFXVI, Street Fighter VI, Resident Evil 4 etc etc.....
