Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 593

@roe I just finished it up this morning, and its exactly how I feel, its good really good..and then they just run out of steam instantly always promising more but it never arrives, shame really because they do a good job of a very rarely explored point in time, and they do a decent gangster story

@Lastochka cant say that to the Sony Weebs mate, saying ubisoft might have done something better will get you burned at the stake 🤣🤣🤣, but i am definitely in agreement with you, Yotei will get an a fanboy review regardless of how lazy it is,
People can say what they want about Ubi and assassins creed, but at least location is changed and gfx get upgraded. And Ubisoft for years have stood by " dont fix what isn't broken"
People complain yet still buy 🤷‍♂️

Re: Mini Review: Wuchang: Fallen Feathers (PS5) - Decent Souls-Like Suffers Technically

Uromastryx

@Rich33 for sure they should be called out no doubt, but the performance issues described as a major flaws here aren't actually that bad, I mean here they gave that junk heap dragons dogma 2 9/10 and that was a mess at release, same for monster hunter also a mess, still is in some parts...but oh yeah 9/10, also it doesn't even talk about the magic in game, which is like 40% of the games combat, says the game combat based on dodging...ehh what about the separate mechanic for each of the 5 weapons parry ability? I'm all for calling out lazy devs and bad released games, but this is a bad review simply put, reviews do help people form an opinion that's why there here, but this is a bad starting point

@Northern_munkey the first berserker review here was absolutely criminal, I think who ever reviewed it played maybe couple of hours and/or sucked at playing it, because its a fantastic game, and just to add " pushSqaure" gave it one of the lowest reviews, well.its true have a look at the round ups l, theres 7, 8s and even a 9 for this game, so ill reserve judgement and play this for myself

Re: 'We Won't Make You Do the Same Thing Over and Over': Ghost of Yotei PS5 Will Keep You Guessing

Uromastryx

People seem reference Rebirth here alot that it was open world and many different minigames, which actually was the worst part of the game,.there is literally a point of too much,
But people believing that this game having unique side mateial everytime is very hopeful, you could read it a nother way and that if it is all unique there wont be too much making the game shorter on the " endgame" also 😱

Re: 'It's Not About Checking Off a Map, It's About Engaging with What Excites You': Ghost of Yotei PS5 Gameplay Stuns

Uromastryx

@Westernwolf4 I absolutely agree that no final judgement should be rendered no chance, and i sit the same as you ill wait to play before I say my final thoughts, but this reaction from people is expected on a 20min showing, it also serves the devs maybe 1 final chance to see if any drastic changes are needed, but so far I dont see any changes needed, I just like shiny and new 😔

Re: 'It's Not About Checking Off a Map, It's About Engaging with What Excites You': Ghost of Yotei PS5 Gameplay Stuns

Uromastryx

@Westernwolf4 sure of course more of the same is expected...but if all the people cheer and clap like sheep cause its sony first party they'll never change, we know what a sony first party is capable of already , take for example Assassins creed last 4 entries...yes more of the same...but from Origins to Shadows look how much has changed, and sales have increased continuously,.because they improve and change core pieces and upgrade visuals, Again this is still day one for me, just expected more I guess, but maybe it will be....still 3 months til release

@Oram77 I'm more like 70% positive 30% negative, i dont mean they are super lazy at the all but the ground work is almost 5 years old, and it " looks" dated gfx wise, i think thats a fair assessment, again not a bad thing Tshushima is amazing and im sure thus will be also, I will be getting it day one, i think I'm just slightly disappointing after looking at DS2 all week which looks incredible

Re: 'It's Not About Checking Off a Map, It's About Engaging with What Excites You': Ghost of Yotei PS5 Gameplay Stuns

Uromastryx

@Oram77 you cant be that easily lead,I'm.really looking forward to Yotei, but after last night, after seeing they didn't update the gfx at all or OK very little, it makes me wonder what else they went lazy on, cause as of right now its GoT with some lipstick, pig is still a pig etc, again not a bad thing but people believing this will be different will be in for a shock. A big thing for me also is a good progression tree as you level l, yeah we seen the weapons skill trees but I feel they'll feel more organic than " boost player power" i dont know alot worries about this but alot excites
