@Splat I think those people are far and few between now though, the "unwelcoming" group, looking at the latest 3 games FF Online, ff16 and ff7 remake has split the fanbase alot,

The game is junk, maybe passable at mid ps4 tier,
Having played this alongside Rise of the Ronin, I'm dumbfounded that game got slashed and pushed to the sidelines for what...a ps4 remaster with a 2 added on

@Specky I'm with you, I put in 30hrs or so, I have to force myself to play it and try to like it, just isn't working, awful clunky combat, no lock on, hold assed fast travel.
Any1 known if you get mounts later or you forced to run across the land with encounters every 45secs of the same enemies for 175th time.

Yeah wheres the high review scores coming from, overall its junk, janky movement, fps still sucks after patch, no fast travel...really.. sorry but the world really isn't that great, and the ungodly amount of " random encounters"
And why do.i keep reading about how good it looks?????
It's ps4 pro level,.and that's been kind.
And no lock on this has to be an awful "modifier" to leave out, and before you all jump yeah blah blah same as the first..Still doesn't make it good.
Combat is passable, menus are an eyesore

I bought this alongside Rise of the Ronin, im sorry I didn't start this first, ROTR is actually amazing game yet was hammered down by reviewers, and this junk getting 8s and 9s
But I'll put more hours in because I paid for it, hopefully I'll come to like it, or be in time to sell it for some return

@Luigia Duke nukem wasn't even that good back in the day, especially up against doom, Qauke, Unreal tournament etc, it was seen as.a "good" game due to its pre adolescent humour and excessive bad language, unfortunately the world grew up, Duke Nukem Forever was set up to fail in so many areas. And it did that in top form 👌 but then again maybe there will be a new 1, that's good, I mean it survived like 30 games? so...who knows, I hope so

@Americansamurai1 it didn't really at the start, it's was a very mediocre game and most planets and galaxies were pretty much lifeless, current iteration of this game is literally worlds apart (pun intended)

I bought both rise of the ronin and dragons domga2, im enjoying rise of the ronin more actually, I read about fps in rise been awful, but its slightly mentioned about dogma2 in actual fact the fps dogma been dreadful is rampant, in rise its " once in awhile" I read somewhere the other day that this will be a days gone situation, people just hate on the game for no real reason other than a few shabby review outlets tought it was "ok"

Well I've got hard mode FF7 to complete and started about 1/3 through rise of the ronin,.so it will be some time before I get around to this,.hopefully it will be nicely patched etc👌

@jt887 haha yeah probably, problem I think also the choices rofjt now for games is off the charts, I can imagine most of the reviewers just got off playing FF7 and Dragons Dogma, games from devs who are years in experience of open world " fun"
As for the frame rate, I played 6-7 hours yesterday I experienced 2 times frame rate flux and that was during cutscenes, not exactly immersion breaking.
But hope you enjoy it, character creation is actually really good.

@Arnna don't let this bad review turn you away, if you like Team ninja, you'll like this, it's absolutely not as bad as this review makes it seem l, not even close

After getting my copy of the game a day early , I put in a few hours and so far this review is bad... sure it doesn't look amazing, but from previews that was expected ??? Combat as always from TeamNinja is great, weapon mixing and matching abilities, brutal finishers,
And for the comment of "its a worse ghost of tsushima" no it isn't...there almost the same game, only thing is Ghost look beautiful that's literally all thats different, because combat in Rise is much more thrilling and rewarding

@UltimateOtaku91 never understood the hate for Days Gone, wasn't ground breaking or anything it was just enjoyable, not many games have given me the rush of taken down hordes and/or running for my life due to bad planning or caught off guard

@get2sammyb it's unnecessary because even now mid through ps5 gen, there's barely even a few games that utilises ps5's power, and what, now the pro comes and suddenly were gonna be awash with super high grade games ?? No we're not, it is unnecessary and will be over priced just like psvr2,
And also all we will hear for the rest of ps5 gen " enhanced for ps5Pro"
And all your really doing is paying high price beta for ps6

I'm utterly shocked!!! I mean an un-supported, more expensive than the console peripheral, with games nobody cares about, not forgetting also when they released it, half the players were still struggling to get a ps5 at a somewhat reasonable price.
50% sale to move your stock and leave it fade it away, get to work on a vita2, psportal gonna be a failure too...

9 for me, loved it the start then I came to Gongaga, holy hell worst map ever designed, but then went through cosmo and nibel restored some faith, but piano can go jump out a window...

@JohntheRaptor oh yeah it's horrible, move on with main story go to a new area, it's like starting all over again, and side note Gongaga is literally one of the worst designed maps I've ever played in any game,.absolutely story only only hard mode

As for the length of part 3 an ton of things on disc 3 original were optional, and I feel they might cut/shorten down some parts, praying the whole lifestream/cloud/mideel is super chopped

@Ravix in japan around war time, samurai, ninjas etc, they all highly belivednin God's and demon's, you best belive there will be more cult story 🤣🤣

@MikeOrator to be fair though those games you mention were barely average at best, one of them is already on ps plus,

@Martijn87 no luck involved,.the other guy messes up exactly two times, and you can mess up exactly one time anything outside that you lose, for me personally I just couldn't keep consistent on the pattern button presses, 2 or 3 days I was at it, gave to my girlfriend...5 minutes she had it completed...

@LifeGirl I'm not sure they will change said spoiler though, it's a complete driving force of the second half of the game, all the way to the very end..(if you remember what happens at the end of the original) changing this part of the game would mean Part 3 when ever it's out , will be pretty much entire new story

How was Abby a psycho? If you think that you should add in Ellie too, this is a story of revenge and loss, and both sides left a path of destruction to a bloody end

1/10s are just the people who can't get over him been done by a female (he deserved it) it was coming eventually.
Great game, great gameplay, only thing needs fixing would be pacing that's about it, And the added No Return is fantastic, hope they add more content for it over time
