I think these numbers are skewed, heavily, towards the final push for developers and publishers to finally not even have to make physical copies anymore. After all, it's what gives them a boner.

My guess is the numbers quoted are for total revenue physical Vs digital and little Tommy's pocket money to buy a Fortnite skin soon adds up to '87% of all games sold are digital'.

Great news. PS5 is a poor effort at 'revolution not evolution' and I'll happily wait out any exclusivity periods and play the patched up, cheaper and arguably superior versions when they land on PC.

The price of next gen games is the only 'revolution not evolution' I've seen so far.

The sheer willingness of the majority to just go along with paying these exorbitant prices and still placing pre orders, is what encourages the vampiric publishers to persist with the practice.

I remember fondly my excitement for versions 2, 3 and 4, but somehow 5 is just not doing it for me.

@thefirst I was in from the Beta and the childish tone was something that grated on me even then. It was said that the narration was just a placeholder and would likely change but they ran with it.

It's a really good game. The weakest part being Rutger's lackluster performance.

This version looks like it will achieve the PC version level of graphics.

Today's gamer throws a poo fit when a previous exclusive ports over to PC. It's no surprise then that when they are faced with in depth information, delivered by a consummate professional, the toys get further thrown from the pram.

The sense of entitlement in those complaining about this, is as sickening as it is hilarious.

The revenue alone that this pc port will generate will make HZD 2 all the better and you can bet your ass that PS5 will be the only place to play it for a number of years too. Add in the fans of the series it will add to PlayStation™ and you have a win-win, well apart from you moaning losers that is.
