Re: PSVR2 Takes Another Hit as Sony Nukes Exclusive Shooter Firewall Ultra

ThorsHammer

Here we go again. Im sorry but how does this put a nail in the coffin in PSVR 2? As your article explained, this was a flop sequel to a celebrated game whose studio had closed down a while ago, is it surprising its being shuttered? Because Concord was shut down, is the PS5 on deaths door? Im not going to act like VR is thriving, its had a tough 2026 for certain, but it will survive, and if the writer thinks it doesnt, i certainly would welcome a more compelling argument. Instead Stephen Tailby shoehorning this narrative into anything VR related is getting tiring. You got my click mate, good on you, last time you will though, your play is getting transperent now.

Re: Incoming Xbox Boss Promises a 'Renewed Commitment to Console', and 'Hears' Fans on Skipping PS5

My impression was that Phil wanted to keep everything exclusive, then the narrative went case-by-case, then only a select few, then everything. The problem was the higher ups mandated they bring in rev and going multiplatform was the way forward to do that. Dont see how just being a new CEO would change that, feels like shes just trying to win goodwill, but Microsoft (not Xbox) wants their games on everything.

Re: 'I Don't Think Prompting Is Art': The Last of Us Co-Creator Isn't a Fan of Generative AI

AI is here to stay, wherever we like it or not. With my business work we've had to use it, it can be helpful and it can be a hinderance, its like a very fast and eager assistant that can give quick results and info, but make tons of mistakes and nonesense up if you dont manage him and knowledge check. When it comes to using in the creative field, i understand the controversy, but my personal analogy there is that its like a Formula 1 race car, i can buy one, but if i dont have the skills to drive, i can crash or harm others, if i do know, i can make it sing. That said, AI can never replicate talent, talent will always be in demand.

Re: Rumour: Mass Effect, Dragon Age Studio BioWare Braced for Layoffs After EA's Buyout Agreement

Crazy, two generations ago, Bioware was actually my no.1 developer, but I've accepted that studio had a seizure soon after, and it's been a dementia ridden shell of itself ever since. I don't like to see ppl lose jobs, but this studio has been cut slack for near a decade, not delivering anything good or finically successful in that timeframe, im surprised it took so long tbh.
