Morrowind, for sure, if they'd add some modern QoL features like a compass. I don't have time to get lost and figure things out like I did when Morrowind was first released. I want the hand-holding.
My supervisor pointed out I have a lot of PTO Hours and encouraged me to use them before I lose them. I agreed and said I have enough to turn the launch of GTA 6 into a staycation. He told me to request it off already before someone else does. I replied I can't, we don't have a date yet.
I hope Captain Blood will come out this year, since it missed its 2024 release. The cancelled Original XBOX game that was recovered and is being ported to current systems.
The PS1 was my introduction to the console wars. Despite the aggressive marketing between the Super Nintendo and the Sega Genesis, there were no such wars on my grade school playground. Everyone acknowledged that both systems had their own great games and friendships were forged so everyone could get a taste of the console they didn't own. Then the PS1 came out and everything changed. Suddenly Sony was King and Nintendo was a baby's system. I had a Nintendo 64 and I enjoyed it. No one I knew had a PS1 so I never got to play it on the original hardware. I bought a PS2 in the mid-2000s and played the heck out of it. Skipped the PS3 in favor of the Xbox 360, but went back to the PS4 and later PS5 after the disastrous Xbox One launch reveal. I love my Sony systems but I still haven't played any PS1 games, even all these years later.
I personally wouldn't be interested in a portable Playstation Steam Deck like device, but I wouldn't protest the existence of one either. I like the idea of options for every player and their preferences.
I love how this trailer doesn't take itself seriously, not even the "not final footage" disclaimer. Like it's begging people to acknowledge that this is a port of an old game and not seeking to be the next technical masterpiece that pushes modern systems to their limits so please forgive its faults. I never heard of this game before, but I am all for it. Give me decent controls and I'll be happy.
I'm not crazy about how it runs on the Switch. It crashes a lot and has a bug which makes all button images "RT." The bug has been around for months and no update has fixed it. If the PS port runs better, I might check it out.
My best friend has primarily played PC games his whole life and struggles with a controller. So I think it's great that he can play the Horizon games with his preferred method. I have been a lifelong console player and I am horrible with a keyboard and mouse. So I appreciate how he and I have options on how to play.
As much as I love the Fallout and Elder Scrolls franchises, I didn't care that Microsoft bought Bethesda because I built a gaming PC solely for modding Bethesda games. I might buy previously exclusive Xbox games if they came out on the PS5 but I'm not exactly eagerly anticipating the opportunity.
I hope we get more details on the Persona Tactics game. I never played a Tactics game nor am I into strategy games, but I am a sucker for Persona games. Maybe I can learn to get into it.
I fell in love with the back paddle attachment for the PS4 controllers, but $200 is not worth it. I'd much rather have some third party attachment for $50 tops.
I know delays are forgotten but a bad launch is forever. This screams "bad launch" no matter what date it'll release. Guess I'll stick with playing Black Flag then.
I preordered it and preloaded everything. I better be able to play when I get home from work in 12 hours. New job, I don't feel comfortable calling out sick.
It's everything I want but I'm feeling very cautious. There's no video footage whatsoever and yet the previous games are delisted. Even Saints Row 2022 gave us some pre-alpha footage.
Oddly enough, I was able to download the latest patch for Maneater but I am unable to play the game as my console cannot connect to PSN. Does something happen to reset the "primary console" designation, like firmware updates? I made sure my console was set as such months ago, but now I am locked out of my digital games because PSN is down.
I much prefer what Sony and Nintendo do: have digital presentations whenever they want to announce games or release new footage or information for previously announced titles.
I'd like a remake of the game or even the trilogy of Vice City and San Andreas. Yes, a remake, not another port. I already bought those twice. I need a better incentive to buy again.
I have a feeling it'll just mean skins, weapons, and cars for GTA Online.
I'm all for colorful controllers. I have a red PS4 controller that I affectionately call "Reddy." But that "cosmic red" is more a "dull magenta." I guess I'm sticking with the default white controller for now.
No, solely because the game does not interest me. I am not bothered by the price point. If I cannot wait for a sale, such as Horizon Forbidden West, I will gladly pay whatever retail price may be.
I have a feeling this game is going to be like Skyrim: 9 official patches making the game run okay but certain sections can be a mess. Fans create an unofficial patch for PC that can make you forget it's a buggy mess until you're reminded that the console version exists.
I'm not trying to knock consoles. There are some games that run just fine on console but run poorly on PC or took many official patches, or unofficial ones, to eventually run well on PC.
I'm all for an emulator but I also worry about the logistics. If you have to buy digital copies, that's going to severely limit what games are available. I have several licensed games and some obscure games that I very much doubt would ever become digitized.
I use Discord as a way to connect with people, and sometimes watch and join in on streams. I hope MS respects that Discord serves all kinds of functions and not just an easy way for friends to chat while gaming.
Everyone I meet won't stop singing Rez's praises so it's a great way to see it for myself. I love Abzu so I'm looking forward to Subnautica. I'd download Horizon Zero Dawn but I have it on disc and when I entered the code to get the free theme, it somehow unlocked the digital version of the game as well.
@NemesisSam30 There's a comic book series from Titan Comics that expands upon what happens next, sort of. The book acknowledges that the story is one of many possible timelines that could occur. There's a lot of jumping back and forth between timelines and new characters with similar abilities. I really enjoy it.
@JustPlainLoco I can only speak for myself, but I was very emotionally invested in Max and Chloe's story. I assumed that the same emotional connection would be present with the boys in Life Is Strange 2 via the power of Dontnod's writing but that never happened. I never bonded with the boys. By the end of the first episode of LiS 1, I was hooked. By the end of the first episode of LiS 2, I didn't care. I had no desire to keep playing.
I want to have a better gaming PC by the time Elder Scrolls 6 comes out for mod support, so I guess I'll be playing future Doom titles on that as well. Now if Microsoft wants to be complete jerks and make them only available on Gamepass, I can finally break the habit of being sucked into Bethesda's broken games.
@Daleaf The core gameplay is simple: you're either in court, calling out witnesses' crap by poking holes in their claims or presenting evidence that contradicts their claim, or you're moving around different areas, which are static images, looking for evidence. The characters and the story of each individual case, and the overarching story spanning all three games, is the biggest hook.
It's not a sim. The legal system is loosely based on the Japanese court system but is greatly altered to become its own entity. So characters will do things that are meant to hinder your progress and feel cheap, which makes earning that "not guilty" verdict all the sweeter.
It's a one-and-done game. Once you finish it, you've seen everything. There are no alternate paths. If you fail a case, it's game over and you have to start again. The one exception is the final case in the second game. If you fail to present the right item to the right person, you get the bad ending, which doesn't affect your overall game because if you continue to the third game, it ignores the events that happen.
I highly recommend it, especially when it's on sale to better justify the one-and-done nature of the game.

Not a fan of He-Man but I'm loving the Golden Axe vibes from the gameplay. I'll probably buy it solely based on that.

Beautiful controller but I already own two, and my second one is more of a backup for when the first dies, so I'll pass on it.
