The cyberpunk vibes in that game are so great. Everyone likes doom and likes cyberpunk theme. IDK why that game flew totally under the radar

I started KCD1, ps5ver. last weekend, but I'm pulling the plug for now. Crimson Desert will be day one in March and I never play one huge RPG, then into another one back to back. I'll save KCD1 for an RPG-itch when there isn't a new one to play. So idk, I still have to finish Metal Eden and then check out BF6 season 2

@Oram77 oh no doubt. I've been gaming since intellivision, so I've seen many games in over 50yrs on this planet, yet TLOU1 is my fave game of all time, easily. Has not been topped yet.

@AlexPorto if they were gonna close just one studio, how does bend not get closed over Bluepoint. Bend hasn't done crap in ages and day's gone wasn't exactly an epic offering.

I mean gamepass is basically designed to wreck the industry and shun all developers out of the real $$$ they could be making by selling their game the old fashion way, in the name of giving xbots a slew of games for a cheap monthly price. Its technically designed to promote "mooching" or "freeloading". WIth that said, free to play would be perfect for a collection of moochers.

@rjejr These dev's are in denial. Go watch DestinL's youtube video he made on this game, reading a letter one of Highguard's dev's penned about this whole debacle. Its crazy. He said when the game was in Dev, they thought they had "lightning in a bottle"with this game, exact quote, kind of like how ARC raiders did. He also goes on to blame us gamers as to why the game failed and tanked to early. The game sucks, not sure what drugs that dev is doing.

ps6 better have enough CPU headroom where we can have fidelity mode in all games running at 60fps. I mean this has got to finally be the gen for that right? We are already right there on the cusp with ps5. Pretty much all games have a PM for 60fps, sometimes 120fps. I think DF said the ps5pro lacks just a bit of CPU to have 4k60 with RT on. So ps6 better be the playstation that finally ushers in 4k60fps, w/RT on and whatever else, for every single release. No concessions. Right? RIGHHHHTTTT???? lol

I only play Domination and TDM, so I wish the smaller new map was available with the larger one. IDK why they have to stagger map releases when there's only 2 new ones lmao. Still love the game from time to time though

Not really into extraction shooters but the visuals, atmosphere and art style looked amazing in the recent SOP trailer. I wish it was a single player campaign kinda FPS

You don't think Sony is looking at this? lmao It will more than likely be some kind of bespoke ver. of Steam on the next xbox, with choice library for xbox's brand. Sony's games excluded. @TrollOfWar PC is a different beast. Xbox is releasing 1st party on PS because they are a sinking ship and in desperation mode. A console can release on PC and it will not affect console sales. PC is not really a direct competitor to a console like xbox vs. PS is. Ps5 just reached 94million units sold, while releasing games on PC since 2020. Horizon zero dawn released on pc in Aug of 2020. Xbox's #'s this gen have been abysmal while they go multiplat. The proof is in the numbers.

I find it funny that Xbox has been a sinking ship, so in desperation they seem to be going multi-platform. In light of that, alot of gamers and the industry think that Sony is all of a sudden obligated to start putting their heavy hitters on Xbox.

@PuppetMaster I don't know when it started with him. I don't know this for fact, but I get this impression that feels he was done wrong by Sony and/or the industry in general and that's why he's out of the game and salty as F. Its got to be something. He's not very old. Why would he be retired already and not still making games. He probably started this toxic behavior when he was still a game dev and it gave him a bad name. Sony and other publishers decided they don't want to work with him anymore. So righfully so, Sony decided to cut ties. So he wasn't done wrong, he was rightfully relieved of his duties. But if you ask him, he was done wrong, since all he talks about is himself and his games. GOW is a great series, but ancient freakin history. He talks about them like they are the GOAT's of all games and nothing has every matched them. They're not that elite, sorry.

I wish they would do a symphony of the night remake in this graphics engine and art style. Would be pretty good no?

I watched him on a podcast once with LSM. He said he couldn't understand all the hype Kojima gets, said Kojima is overrated, Kojima is full of himself and there's too many Kojima-glazers in the industry. There's more skill and creativity in the first 20mins of both Death stranding games then in any game Jaffe ever made. In the past whenever he's on a podcast, everything out of his mouth is "my GOW this" or "my GOW that". He also makes like there is only 3 GOW games on earth, the ones he helped make. He totally discounts the others like they don't exist.

Only way they are making the next one a true showcase over this, is they drop intergalactic deep dive, announce bloodborne 2, maybe that forever rumored Uncharted game with Drakes daughter leading and like a wildcard of Sony Bend showing their next thing and it blows our doors off. lol pipe dreams right?

The only possible negative now though is that they have to live up to this one in the next. I don't choose to think that way. But we all know alot of gamers will make this one the new benchmark. That will be a tall order next SOP.

@Balaam_ agree, however at least CDPR rebounded and turned water to wine or Blood and wine (see what i did there?) lmao with the fixing of CP2077. That game is fantastic now. Oblivion remastered however, still not fixed, buggy as hell and from what I've read they have no more plans to patch that further. Heck I'm still waiting for the Borderlands 4 ps5pro memory leak to get fixed. WTF is up with that one? are they hoping we'd just forget about that?

@Scottyy lol thanks. Reanimal is def another one i want to check out. It was on my radar for ages. I still have a backlog of games to get to that I bought during the PSN xmas sale. Reanimal slipped my mind. I love quirky games with unique art styles to switch things up like Little nightmares and now Reanimal. It just came out today right, have you been playing it yet or waiting for the weekend?

Plus the Marathon's and other things if they are your cup of tea in between it all. @Enuo this will be day1 for me for sure. I'm willing to bet it will be great. but IDK how I feel about it switching straight to melee so soon as a new IP. This is #2, not like this series has a trilogy already. I loved the first game, the firearm mechanics, along with the powers. I love souls games, so melee is my thing too, but idk. I guess I thought this would be a continuation of the first game.
