Arrowhead Studios has announced the return of the Killzone-themed Warbond for Helldivers 2, which restores all of the content from the last time the items were available and pairs them with new ones.
The Legendary Warbond will be live once again from 18th December 2025 in-game, and it'll cost 1,500 Super Credits. If you bought any single Killzone item from the Helldivers 2 store when they were first available last year, your account will be automatically upgraded to access this Legendary Warbond free of charge.
Returning items include:
- StA-52 Assault Rifle
- StA-11 SMG
- PLAS-39 Accelerator Rifle
- Capes
- Passives
- Player Cards and Player Titles
In addition, there'll be entirely new Patterns to unlock called Extrasolar Ash. You can equip these to Exosuits, FRV, Hellpods, and Pelicans. All the content — both new and old — goes live in-game at 2pm GMT / 7am PT on 18th December.

If you got the free stuff you should at least get a discount TBH. And why does it cost extra? This is all Sony, they aren’t paying MS like for Halo or something
Bring killzone back please. The game was fantastic, and Sony needs a FPS. Opportune time right now too since COD is starting to get under even more peoples skins (no pun intended) these days. Killzone multiplayer was great and a nice alternative to BF and COD. Bring Resistance back too while you are at it.
I'm still using the helmet from when the crossover happened last year, it's so good.
Starting the title with “New and Returning Killzone,” was mean… I thought we were finally seeing a return for a brief second.
I own all the old KZ stuff already but it’s nice it’s coming around again.
The guns are solid (though like all guest stuff they can’t be upgraded/modified like normal guns) but the best thing about the pack is the armor, whose multi element resistance (acclimated, which provides 50% resistance to gas, fire and electricity) was once unusual but which has now been almost equaled by the Dust Devils warbond (only 40% elemental resistance but also a 20% throwing range bonus). The only advantage Dust Devils armor has (IMHO) is it offers a heavy variant.
It’s also worth noting the Helghast armor looks very cool, especially the glowing red eyes of the helmets.
1,500 when it's Sony's own IP I understand the Halo one but Killzone and yes you can grind them all but it's ***** when it's 1,500 because you would have to buy 2 purchases of the mid tier coins or the highest one if you don't want to grind
Really nice that we get free access if we bought any of the pieces earlier. I wish you could level up the collab weapons, even if it's just to get camos.
I started to read that title as: A new Killzone is returning... guted.
