Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Leaks in Age Rating Listing

sheesh at this point is there any point in the game awards, everything will be leaked by then....

I'd play a pure, faithful remake of Black Flag. It still stands as one of the best entries in AC, if mostly because it's the best version of the original combat systems before they shifted increasingly to RPG-esque bloat.

If any of the rumours of it shifting towards that new-style AC are true... nah, hard pass. I don't want to play Black Flag looking for a higher level pistol because my old one can no longer manage a successful headshot.

@Oram77 Yeah its ashame. Unless we can Marty Mcfly back to a time where game journalism wasn't a huge thing and we got surpised on the E3 show floor, or we just go dark with no internet 2 months before the GA's, almost everything will be spoiled for us. This whole thing sucks tbh

I played AC: Rogue earlier this year and honestly, that was pretty much just like [em[Black Flag[/em] only set in the North Atlantic instead of the Caribbean. So that’s kinda quenched my thirst as far as this remaster is concerned.

I’ll still pick it up like… but in no real rush to play it.

I will be playing this after such a long time, But not straight away though as my back catalogue is staked.

This game was so peak when it came out originally. Hopefully, this remake is faithful and captures the same vibes and highs.

Hearing about the addition of the loot system of the more recent games dampened my enthusiasm for this but will reserve judgement until we see exactly what it's changed.

Honestly, I'll be getting this day 1. I adore AC4 and will gladly dive back in for a remake. That said, "Resynced?" Yikes... Each new remaster or remake we've seen over the last few years have had worse and worse names. It's like these games are being named by the same people who name K-Pop bands...

One of my least favourite AC games other than the plot, which I genuinely think is brilliant and there’s a bunch of great actors on top form throughout. That one mission tailing the boat through the swamp is the worst mission in anything I’ve ever played. That being said, this remake being real gives them a huge opportunity to canonise any future remakes by having new modern day sections requiring characters to reassess Edward’s memories. It’s the ideal way to explain some events changing or being added, you’re just accessing his memories with a newer version of the Animus. AC has the greatest mesh of story and gameplay concepts in all of gaming but they don’t fully utilise it.

Meh been there done that assassin's Creed games aren't really remake material for me!

Not sure how I feel about this one. Black Flag is one of my favourite ACs, mostly for Edward’s character arc but the RPG element scares me. Every recent ac games feels the same to me - fun at first but very quickly becomes tedious and boring, especially when I have to sacrifice personal enjoyment just because a certain weapon or outfit is higher leveled.

Only played the first and the third entry. Tried the second one but I found Ezio an idiot. Hope the original is still on extra after Ive finished RDR and Skate Story.

I loved Black Flag, but there are some rumors I've heard that give me pause. I hope they aren't true.
