The DF breakdown makes it evident that its too underpowered. It's under a base ps5, lol, what good is that? Nintendo gets by with this w/ exclusives. PS is king of 1st party. Valve doesn't have this.

But what Valve could have, is a default place to play superior 3rd party games. Can you imagine playing Cyberpunk with the graphics settings the PC master race gloats about in our faces, but in the convenience of a console???? Or Witcher 4 when that drops? Battlefield 6 and so on, and so on....

But no, they gave this thing just 8gigs of Vram. What is the point of having a console that does what your xbox or ps does in terms of 3rd party, but underpowered? Its pointless. Lol What a whiff at an opportune time man!!!

Yearly COD player here. 1st time in ages I'm not getting a COD this year. Battlefield is back and all I need. 1st time in ages not getting the yearly NHL game too. I'm done supporting any cut and paste dog meat games. I should have cut NHL off years ago, but I'm a hockey addict, so....At least with COD there's a new setting every year. NHL is so egregiously cut and pasted

I don't care who wins what, or who gets nominated. I'm a video game fanatic and hope everyone's fave game gets some love at the show. All I do care about though is hopefully getting a 2nd Intergalactic trailer and 1st real look into what its all about!

@DennisReynolds I'm not trying to be contradictory just to be a jerk. I'm very friendly on here. if it floats your boat I respect that. But the trailer looks way too dated for my taste. To each his/her own i guess. RD1 was fantastic back when it first came out. I loved it so much but never played RDR2. What i really want is the 60fps patch for 2. I can't play that game. The character controls like a forklift. As much as i want to experience that amazing world they developed for the sequel, the gameplay being that frustrating is a deal breaker for me. Maybe some day..... lmao

I don't care either way, because in this same article I said if its not a remake then I'm not interested. After watching the trailer for this it looks like the ps3 game. Lmao sorry, I can't look at those kind of graphics in a game like this anymore unless I'm playing a metroidvania, where the dated graphics actually lend to the nostalgia or fit the genre. So many other games to play, the backlog is nuts right now. so whatever

@ButterySmooth30FPS the article says free upgrade for ps4 owners. This was a ps3 game. Most people played the OG on ps3, when it first came out since it was the next big R* thing at the time. I never bought it on ps4, did you?

@LogicStrikesAgain This game is their cash grab response to the latest GTA6 delay. Makes sense to do it in order, so we get this first. In 6 months when GTA6 is delayed again, then we'll see their 2nd cash grab which will be the RDR2 native ps5 version

if its not a total remake, brought to us with the RDR2 engine then whats the point of this, esp when the OG game already runs on ps5 at 60fps? Seems totally pointless, but I'm willing to wait for more particulars. If its not a total remake or at least remastered to look modern, then R* aint getting a penny from me

@Rich33 sounds great. I bought the DLC already, just shelving it for now. So much to get to. But I think Lies and Lords of the fallen are hands down the 2 best soulslikes not made by fromsoft. Can't wait for Lords of the fallen 2. The first one was very rough at launch, but they pulled a cyberpunk and really turned it into an awesome game after patches

@ItsAlwaysSunnyyy its funny you say this, because sometimes older games that aren't around anymore pop into my head. For some reason the other day Motorstorm popped in my head. I thought that was a fantastic Arcade racer. A ton of fun off and online too. I wish they would resurrect that series, but i think they would have by now. But you are right, so few good arcade racers in these times

Need the 60fps patch on ps5 for Red Dead 2 already so i can finally play/experience that game. I can't touch that thing with the way the character moves like a forklift, but I loved the first one. It sucks because I know it is an epic adventure. But I just can't give my time to a game that controls like dog meat to a point where its frustrating instead of fun

I want to see them try their hand at a cyberpunk themed RPG next, instead of KCD3. But I know that's prob a pipe dream. In todays day and age of hate and bashing, they would prob get too criticized for trying to be a CDPR clone if they did that. But i don't care. We don't have nearly enough Cyberpunk themed games in this industry

@Exerion76 You're crazy. There's only been two. After the trilogy is complete then I would totally love a new killzone, if not then def another IP. This series is amazing and the sequel was 100% native ps5, it was cross gen. So we are yet to see a proper Horizon on beefy hardware. DS2's version of Decima was a showstopper. YOu really don't wanna see a Horizon game using that?

Lies of P was fantastic. Still got the DLC on backlog to get to whenever. But I'll be ready for a sequel whenever it drops. Still prob years off though. Prob gonna be a cross gen title or maybe native ps6

Japanese themed dead rising? I'll pass. Bad enough we got a new Silent Hill game after all these years and it was set in a place that does not fit the series legacy one bit

@Gremio108 I thought it was cringey as hell, but I have no idea why it would cause disappointment. It was a Japanese/Asia state of play. They are almost on a different planet the way they look at games, the way they format the shows and present etc. Therefore I had zero expectations for this. It was basically "them doing their own thing this turn" to me. Besides, the game awards is where anything really big is going to be shown and that is less then a month away.

The only thing more cringey then this SoP would be listening to someone scrape their fingernails on a chalkboard for 40mins

@TheDudeElDuderino xb1x was the most pointless console in gaming history lmao. They ditched that gens first party support soon after that console was released in favor of development of series X games. Which turned into the utter crap show that we're currently witnessing these last few years and present. But that's another story entirely. all that power they touted with that dust collector and it never amounted to nothing lmao. thats xbox though

@Elfuggingjefe yeah prez trophy always means you suck in the playoffs. Rangers were just victim to this 2 yrs ago. Winnipeg last year, and Winn is always terrible in the playoffs, so they prob should have thrown the last 3 games so Wash would have won the prez trophy. Let it be their problem

@Elfuggingjefe yeah 100%. What makes me mad is Florida was destined to win the last two cups. They are built perfectly as a team. But now they are decimated with injuries and EDM looks like they are a mess right now too. So the cup seems up for grabs this year, unless Colorado keeps up their torrid pace. That said, its a bummer that our two teams look far from cup worthy when its kind of anyones trophy this year. But we'll see.

One thing i learned watching hockey for the last 40yrs is, anyone can get hot or turn into cup contenders after new years. That was more prevalent in the 80's 90's and early 2000's. Its harder to do in todays game, but still. Never know

@Elfuggingjefe Wow a civil hockey fan. Rare. Therefore its nice to talk to you. I wish Tampa good luck as well. There was a time when Tampa had a ton of ex Rangers there. We used to be good trade partners with Tampa. Mcdonagh is back on Tampa as you know. I loved him. Rangers dished him off way too early.

But yeah, not good starts, but the cream will start to rise after Thanksgiving. Tampa has a great team. Verdict still out on Rangers cause its puzzling how we can go 7-1-1 away so far, but just get our first home win last night. lol idk?

We got Shesty and you got Vaz. Vaz is a beast. So, with having those two goalies, things can look up in a heartbeat my man!

@JB_Whiting You don't like collecting more junk now that all quests are done? lol this game was fun for a week. that's about it. I have no clue how the dev's think this game has 10yr legs with no story or narrative. Its just a junk collecting sim, to lvl up, so collecting the same junk becomes a bit easier and less risky. Kind of pointless if it wasn't so addicting in an OCD way.

@Cakefish Lies of P and Stellar Blade were both fantastic. I hope both devs are hard at work on sequels to both. In full production, so maybe we'll see them in no longer then a year and a half or so

I was totally hooked on this game for about a week and loving it. Then the repetitive loop of going on Raids to collect junk to power yourself up, only to be able to collect the same exact junk but more efficiently, coupled with the lack of any decent lore/story/narrative and this game is dead to me now.

Its an OCD paradise. But once that wears off, this game is too vanilla. Was worth the $40 for a week of kicks though.

Whatever, huge RPG fan, but don't care.

I'm currently playing Oblivion remake after shelving it, waiting for updates. That never came, but not bethesda's fault.

Anyways, after playing KCD2 and Yotei (games that don't have characters who stare off into uncanny valley. And voice acting that isn't B tier horror movie) Im being reminded of how terrible Bethesda is at character models, voice acting and believability that immerses you into the game, while reliving Oblivion.

They've made 2 generational bangers in Skyrim and Fallout 3, but nothing else at that level. So I think Bethesda is prob the most overrated developer in gaming history.

Silent Hill F, phantom blade zero, Ghost of Yotei, Assassins creed shadows, black myth wukong, the next black myth, Nioh 3, rise of the ronin....just to name a few.

Some great games in there, esp Yotei and black myth. They were fantastic.

But remember back when the WW2 setting was getting tired in shooters that they abandoned it all together. The Asian/set in Japan theme's are walking that line. Esp in the 3rd person action realm. Esp after the choice for Silent hill F

@Oram77 I expect nothing but an epic game too, but only thing that's got me a tad worried is their choice to use UE5. That's obv not a knock on CDPR's chops to deliver a great game. I just think they chose this engine way before it became the infection to the industry its become this gen.

@Jammer I'm neutral on the new Ciri look, but its obv because they're using UE5. The RED engine had its own flavor/identity for character rendering. I hope Cyberpunk2 doesn't suffer from this problem. RED engine gave that game its charm. Cyberpunk2 is prob like 8yrs away hahaha. Right around the time GTA6 will finally release

Why would I care what xbox is doing with one of their flagship franchises, which they found a way to tank in the crapper with a mediocre game that is Infinite? That is one of their mascot/flagship games and they crapped the sheets hard with that one. How???? They are just bad at exclusives.

@Can-You-Believe-Sith Yeah, I agree that the 10yr talk is just "big game talk" and over confidence. ARC raiders is the latest example of this. I've loved it for about a week, was totally hooking my OCD with its collecting gameplay loop. But ltota lack of story and zero immersion through any kind of narrative, made the novelty fizzle away fast. I started to wonder "why am I even playing this? Roaming around collecting trash for no real reason, other then to have better gear to collect trash easier" lmao. Boring asf

I have no clue how they plan on keeping people invested for their 10yr plan with no real story or narrative. The Division and Destiny have immersive story lines, whether you like them or not. Not a Destiny guy, but Division 1 and 2 are fantastic.

@Don_Quixote227 sweet. I made the mistake of going to the point of no return too early. I wish i stayed in yotei alot longer, doing more side stuff and taking in the world before beating. So many games to get to. But Yotei is def a game worthy of a 2nd playthrough much later down the line

More ARC raiders I guess. I'm kind of addicted to this game and IDK why. I guess the OCD loop of collecting and gearing up before dumpster diving. But the quests in this game are bland, pointless and even the actions involved in game for these quests are soooo lame. Yet this game has its teeth in me. lmao

This piles on the "delay misery" haha i forgot this game even existed. They showed it once and went radio silent. Hard to build hype or have a place in people's minds when you don't show yourself. Amy Hennig being on this dev team doesn't help matters either

@Boxmonkey @wildcat_kickz this is off topic guys, but i can't find a setting on the game or any info on this anywhere, so allow me to ask. Is there any way to turn off that 12 digit code that's at the bottom right hand corner of the screen? i guess its the server code, or debug code? IDK.

What I do know is that static code always there is not friendly to OLED tv's.

@KundaliniRising333 I wouldn't be shocked if this game wins GOTY. It seems to be taking the gaming world by storm and the award voters seem to value this. Death Stranding 2 and Ghost of Yotei were fantastic and are light years above this game.

However, they are very safe sequels. Award winners are usually the outside the box thinking games.

@Cerny Just save it for next gen at this point so it runs at 4k60fps. Because I don't trust rockstar releasing it on ps5 and patching in 60fps on ps6. still waiting on RDR2 frame patch. and waiting, and waiting, and waiting

@wildcat_kickz yeah, i can't imagine if speranza was a hub where you had to walk and it was more tedious to get around, taking loads of time, directly after a run that went sour due to a D-bag shotgunning you from behind while you were opening a locker. Total cheap shot

That sucks when it happens and is a time waste, so its best to counter that element with being able to get right back into gameplay to restore order so to speak
