@Reyzore Yes i did and I thought it was a great game. Loved the premise, the narrative, the art direction. But its seems like you needed to ask cause you can't figure how I think Yotei craps all over Expedition. We all have different tastes.

For my taste, no turn based game on the planet will trump a 3rd person action adventure like Yotei or DS2. I was the biggest final fantasy 7 fanboy back when that OG came out on ps1 and still prefer most games over turn based. So like I said, we all have diff tastes

@3Above Nothing against Expedition 33, but yotei craps all over that game IMO. So many great games this year. In world where it didn't release in the same year as Expedition, Death Stranding 2, KCD2 and Silksong, this would win GOTY honors easy. There would be an uprising if they gave it to yotei over any of these games, esp. Expedition. That's everyones critical darling this year.

@DennisReynolds The game is amazing. People who diss a game from the start because of how a main character looks are just hate spewers. People these days seem to thrive on Drama, hate and even violence.

This is why I have no doubt Intergalactic is going to be another epic benchmark naughty dog game regardless of how the protagonist is cast

@OldGamer999 100%. the game has been out for 2 months now and that should have been a priority for a hotfix or first week patch. The crazy part is and I pointed this out in my post, that there isn't even word yet on when to expect the leak to be fixed. Its such BS.

@RagnarLothbrok Love your avatar pic and username. I was late to the party with Vikings. Binged and completed it about a year and a half ago. Man what an epic journey that was. I still watch the clip on youtube from time to time, from the "what might have been" episode, where he is hallucinating on the water of his family on the beach, with that music. That was hands down one of the most moving scenes I've ever watched in a show ever. And I've seen them all, from Breaking bad, to Sopranos, to Sons of Anarchy.

@redapt This was gonna be my post here before I read yours. "fix the freaking game first before you start releasing DLC/content or anything like that." So no, they have not fixed the leak yet and I searched all over and was told there hasn't even been a statement made as to when a fix is incoming.

It sucks because supposedly this game is great. Amazon has it for $20 off sale, but I'm not buying in advance hoping they fix it. I made that mistake with Oblivion remake. They still haven't got that game running the way it should either. Diff devs, but this is the day and age we live in with broken games

@wildcat_kickz makes sense. I never played the first one so, I'm not in the know lol. This game looks like it has insane promise though, i will say that.

@AdamNovice I think it would be good for the industry if it did. And I think its deserving too as a game. Not just saying this. Its highly unlikely knowing activision, but maybe it will make COD take a look in the mirror and give us a better product and more importantly, go back to a serious military style shooter. None of this Beavis and Butthead skins and all the sci fi wall running crap. WW2 theme got old, but honestly, I'd welcome it back if that's what it took to get this thing grounded again

@Shigurui @Oram77 This could be a great new IP, hopefully they stick the landing and give us something great. New IP are always welcome. I got returnal crossed with Remnant 2 vibes with this. Both games were fantastic

Ive had my eye on this one since the debut trailer and I think it looks amazing. I understand everyones concerns in the comments. But as we all know with new ip, all we can do is wait and hope it becomes something great. TBH, I thought stellar blade looked like crap when they showed it. But after playing that game, it became one of my fave games and new IP's in a long while.

So lets have patience and see how it plays out

@Throb when ps6 hits, most of 1st party will not be in position with a game at the ready, if you break down all the studios and what the pipeline looks like. So Bloodborne would be a huge system seller to launch with ps6. That's my guess as well. And didn't From themselves say something about "maybe a game for newer hardware" when questioned about bloodborne in an interview last year?

There's no way in hell this franchise is dead. From is just being a pain with it all cause they want to be the ones to work on it. For some reason they don't even want Blue point touching a remake. Bloodborne will not go the way of The order 1886, or similar one offs. Sony/From know what they have in this.

I think if Nintendo didn't hit them up for that online duskbloods game to be on switch, maybe Bloodborne 2 would already be in pre-production.

@Porco The Keyword in your reply is a "decade". Examine the offerings you listed too. This series is not being milked.

#1 a decade is a long dam time and the 3rd mainline game which is the meat/potatoes of this franchise is prob at least 2-3 more yrs away. So call it 13years to complete the trilogy.

#2 one game is a VR offering. VR is so niche. PSVR2 was DOA like the first one. They push a big franchise into VR to try and sell headsets. Hard to add a niche VR title in the milking list.

#3 the mmo and yet to be fully revealed online game,-at least they are much different offerings then the mainline game. But I'll remind you, 13years total until trilogy is complete.

#4 Lego Horizon? lol sure throw it in there. But Lego themed games are niche as well. The Lego theme makes is so far from the main games, that its even more niche then the VR game.

#5 how many COD's, NHL's, Madden's, Assassins creeds etc (you get the point) are released in 10 years time. 10. 10 and they are all mainline games.

Only two mainline games and some people say its being milked??? lmao they must be jealous, cause this is one of the best franchises period. Can't wait for the next one to complete the trilogy.

@TheArt 100% agree with what you are saying man. Another thing too, the past games were pretty good but they ran like crap. I understand the hardware they were on. But after honing their open world chops and having plenty of horsepower with the ps5, that was all the reason in the world to keep in open world and finally make a really amazing AAA experience, that runs and looks great and has that epic mafia crime saga vibe. They are just another developer IMO. Will never be on the level of ND, CDPR, SP

@TheArt I agree with you. I was totally bummed with the sudden linear approach as well. And that fact that its taking GTA6 forever along with yet another delay amplifies the whole thing. Cause an open world crime saga would scratch that itch as we wait for GTA6. Mafia has been that kind of GTA alternative with their past installments, but now all of a sudden they choose to close the world off. lmao

This is a bunch of stuff that prob should have been in the base game to begin with at launch. I guess your thought on what is "chargeable content" is much diff then mine. Photo mode, car/horse races, roaming around freely shouldn't be charged for in any game, therefore this is more of a patch.

@ErrantRob i agree. Man the one series that needs a few years off already is the NHL series. I know calling these games nothing but a roster update is kind of cliche. But it truly has turned into nothing but a roster update prob the last 5+ years. Not as egregious the years prior, but pretty close. If they are just gonna make them roster updates, then at least upgrade the game engine. They barely do that. Game still looks like a ps4 launch title. We are 5yrs into ps5. No excuse for this rubbish

@SystemAddict lol you can really go nuts this year too due to the GTA6 affect. Next year will prob be the same. Thats the only good thing that has come from these GTA delays.

@silverspeed I think they need to give legacy players some swag for being on board since day one. I've had every PS on launch day since ps1. Not just pointing the finger at Sony, very few companies give a crap if you've been dumping your wallet into them for multiple decades. Not even a gift certificate to the "jelly of the month club".

I see amazon has Borderlands 4 on sale already for $20 off, but i looked it up and they are still yet to patch the memory leak on ps5pro. So a no go for me. That game has been out for over 2 months now and no fix yet, no statement on when to expect either. A Mem. leak should have been prioritized since its a critical bug. Been this long, so I don't trust them to do it, so no buying in advance. Ashame, cause i hear the game is really good.

They had a few good IP in their stable that used to be pretty good, but now have no idea how to even release them as epic 1st party games.

Amazing to hear BF6 is outperforming Cod this year. Well deserved and kind of a cool redemption story for BF. They weren't COD beaters before, but amazing shooters. Then went to total crap for years. Hiring Vince Z was a great pickup. Now not only back, but hopefully on top even when the US #'s are in

The latest ed. of Digital Foundry's weekly show dissects the steam machine further. They basically rip into this thing and its weak hardware. Saying it sits below a base ps5, which was released 6yrs ago by the time Steam machine comes out.

So this thing poses a threat to nobody. What a wasted opportunity by Valve. Only 8gigs of Vram in 2026, such a joke.

What makes me laugh is alot of people ranting about AI on the internet. Calling it dangerous, gonna eventually take over the world like a Tom Clancy novel or Terminator movie, threatening human existence.

Yet, the AI used by this and many devs isn't even smart enough to know how many fingers to put on a hand! But I guess on the flip side, thats one more finger it has to poke us in the eyes???? idk?

@Dan12836666 I agree. The whole world, characters, missions, story is just brimming with life and charm. I'm biased because I love the cyberpunk theme for everything and feel we don't get enough Cyber themed games. So I can't wait to see what they do with the sequel. But will Wicher being years away, Cyberpunk 2 may end up being a ps7 game lmao. Its so sad, these games take way too long to develop. Its just crazy to think that a sequel to cyberpunk may be a whole decade away

@Dan12836666 Phantom Liberty was soooo good wasn't it!? I played the base game when it first launched, before all the patches and fixes. It didn't run too bad for me, passable. Then shelved it, but got Phantom over the summer, late to the party. Hands down the best DLC i've ever played

Oh and after being late to the party on Hallow Knight, after seeing all the hype Silk Song got, HK gave me a newfound interest in metroidvanias. I never looked at that genre prior. So I picked up Blasphemous 2 on sale for $12 a few days ago. Its great

This weekend i dip into the collection to finish off some games I 50%'ed, then put on the shelf. So gonna try and finish Lost Records: Bloom and Rage. It doesn't quite hit as hard as Life is Strange did back then, but there's enough DNA from that game to still make it great. I like it alot.

@species if they really wanted it to be a PC/console hybrid then they should have designed it to be upgradable or have different tiers, just like there's diff graphics cards avail. Even Digital foundry said they can't understand why you get this option to have a 512gb SSD model or the 2TB model. Those are the only two buying options. They would have liked to see it come in the standard 8gigs of Vram, but an optional higher end model of 16gigs of Vram, since that is whats holding the machine back.

And besides, 512gig version is insane. You can't fit crap on only a 1/2 of a terabyte these days. The whole thing was porly executed IMO, but they were in prime position to do something really great since Xbox is urinating all over themselves, taking themselves out of the equation. But Valve fumbled the ball big time

@species I don't think it will be a grand with those specs. If so, that would be a major debacle and no sales. I could be wrong. But DF's breakdown eluded to the fact that they are looking to price this thing in the ballpark of current base consoles. So that's not close to a grand.

To be honest, I have no interest in PC gaming at all. I've been console gaming since Intellivision. But what I will say is, if they made this machine way more beefy and worth a grand, then I would totally be on board. The only thing I feel i miss not being a PC gamer is when a game like Cyberpunk comes along and the PC rigs have this thing looking mind boggling.

If they were giving us a machine with the convenience of a console that could run like that, I'd gladly give them the $1,000. But I have ps5pro, an xboxseriesX (that does nothing but collect dust) so I have no need for a machine that just runs the 3rd party games like a base ps5

If that's the case, that would be the biggest rippoff in gaming history. Esp when its just a 3rd party machine compared to consoles. And not be gateway into PC gaming for console players. The ps5pro is optional, not a necessity and that is way under a grand! lol

@rjejr I'm not a fan of his, but he doesn't bug me either. He's not a dev, so he's like whatever to me. He's just kind of there. But what I will say is, since we have no more E3 which I think is still ashame. If it takes GK to put together shows where we can still get Barn burner announcements like last years Intergalactic trailer, then I say, just let him do his thing

@JohntheRaptor how do you figure it will challenge when it doesn't have exclusives and plays 3rd party games that are already on all 3 consoles (choice ones on nintendo but still) and at lower settings? Its a tad under the base ps5 in performance. Why would I buy this machine to play the same 3rd party games I'm already getting on ps5 or xbox and running better.

Put some better tech in the thing, truly make it a pc/console hybird, that will give me cyberpunk and similar 3rd party, running graphics settings that set PC's apart from consoles and now we are talking. But no, only 8gigs of Vram. lmao not even close to a threat to any console.
