@graymamba I can't wait for Division 3 either. But we both know this is going to be a next gen game, so whatever IMO. Not like this is happening to GTA6 indicating another delay for that game is incoming

@Oram77 exactly. "still not content complete" no way this thing is coming out this year. If it gets delayed again they'll just make it cross gen with ps6, to sell next gen, pitch line 4k60 on ps6

since witcher 4 is way closer then a cyberpunk sequel, i would rather them make another DLC for cyberpunk. Phantom liberty was fantastic. The way time flies, we'll have witcher 4 in our hands. but will be ages before cyberP2

He was so pivotal for the industry, Regardless of COD's current state, you can't deny that COD, GTA and the arcade yrs. of Mortal Kombat were the 3 Ip's that shaped the modern games industry as we know it.

And all he does is sign on with EA to get Battlefield back on track and totally succeeded with BF6. Not many with that resume. RIP. dude will be missed.

Not much of a sim racing fan. Was more of a motorstorm guy back in the day. But glad this is thriving for the peeps here that do enjoy this type of racer. Too bad Sony couldn't nail down a live service or FPS online shooter with these kinds of legs, other then Helldivers 2.

When it comes to crunch in game development I don't wanna hear sh**. I'm a former restaurant worker of 30yrs. Used to work 70 to 80hours a week. Manning a 6 burner sauté station, that had a 400 degree oven below and a salamander (broiler) head level, all blasting on me for every one of those hours. Not to mention all the other equipment that made the kitchen reach 110 in the summer time. So....hitting a deadline for a game demo would be like paradise compared

for my money Division 2 craps all over ARC raiders and most shooter games as a service. Its probably a very long ways off, but I would love Division 3 to be a ps6 launch window title. I hammered division2 for countless hours. I'm done lol. So a brand new one would be bangin

I read that this is def gonna be point click/turned based like BG3. That sucks for me. I can't stand that type of game. Instant pass. Trailer was bangin' though, so I hope you all enjoy the game, in 2030 lol or whenever it comes out

I try to have respect for most game dev's unless they are lazy and don't fix their broken games months after release (looking at you Borderlands 4 and Oblivion remaster), or they are too lazy to upgrade their game engines 3 gens in a row (cough, team ninja, cough).

So I respect what this man decided to do with this To a t game, but in reality after watching the trailer, lets be honest, nobody should be surprised this game flopped.

I want this to be my Halloween game in October. But I have no clue if I'll be able to not get this day1. haha @Stragen8 man i still remember a bud at my job way back when, said he was playing this new thing called resident evil on ps1. Alot of gamers at that job, so we all had water cooler moments. So I bought it and it was amazing. Nostalgia there man. RE1 hit with the games industry kind of like how mortal kombat and GTA3 did. Maybe not as huge, but still a pivotal moment in gaming

I might try to get back into Diablo 4. Its been ages, never got the 1st expansion. So idk. Have an itch for this style game and it seems like Path of Exile 2 is taking forever to get to 1.0 release. so.....

Starting a hype train with a trailer for a beloved franchise, at the GA's or any big event and the game is at least 4yrs off is just plain dumb. Maybe not 2030, but studio was just founded earlier this year. Its its truly AAA then its gotta be at least 4yrs.

Control was one of my fave games of that time period, but I'm not sure how I feel about the melee combat. It looked kind of soulslike to me. Not that its a bad thing, we just have too many of those. I just liked the way you upgraded guns in C1

Oblivion remastered was put out long enough ago to make this list. It populates this list right now and still hasn't been patched, therefore is still a broken mess. So I ask, why is it on this list???

Borderlands 4 too. The game shipped with a memory leak months ago that still isn't patched. hahaha

The GA's need to start 2 new categories for awards "least broken mess at release" award. And "most broken release" award.

BF6 getting sound design award was great to see. When you are playing multiplayer and a rocket flies by your head, into a building and said building crumbles to the ground, the sound is stunning.

@StylesT well said, and I obv agree 100%. Again, the art direction and atmosphere I thought were fantastic. It was a great game, but not generational as we already stated. I excluded this point from my last post because it was getting too long, so I'll add this here.

I think it was also opportunistic this year. Death Stranding 2 on every level was a superior game. If that was not a sequel and was the 1st entry in the DS universe, then we might be having a different conversation. Because as epic as DS2 was, most people who loved it still admit it was a pretty safe sequel and just more DS. Which was an awesome thing, but still.

Yotei to me is far superior to 33 as well. But Yotei is also a very safe sequel as epic as it is. So safe that it didnt even get nominated for GOTY. Silksong, great game but just more HK. Donkey kong? Idk how it made the list over Yotei. But its nintendo and they get glazed hard and everyone needs to throw them a bone because they take 10yrs in between their samey exclusives. whatever......

Also, we live in the day and age that everyone needs to glaze stuff they like, esp in gaming. And esp in gaming where the team who built an epic game is small in scale. They have to love that game above and beyond because they love the studio. Same reason ARC raiders gets so freakin glazed online, it's sickening.

@Toot1st "millions" is a minority in all of gaming. Everywhere you look, podcasts, gaming sites, comment sections, the consensus is that ending the show on this Dogmeat was just lame. Grade A lame. So, proofs in the pudding.

@DennisReynolds Its disgusting isn't it? Some of the animations with a couple of the characters look straight up ripped off out of Overwatch too. A once a year show, ended with a free to play hero shooter lol. Can't make this stuff up. only in 2025

The first one was up there with Lies of P as one of the best non-fromsoft soulslikes. I'm so ready for this game

The crazy part about 33 cleaning house this year is, it is def a great game. Esp the atmosphere, aesthetic and performances. Is it a generational game that should def crap all over everything else at the awards? Not even close.

@captainsandman im with you. I tried BG3 through g'fly and that turned based combat style just isn't for me. I despise it. Seems like a great RPG too. Its ashame.

@J2theEzzo no. that style gameplay just isn't for me. I like action RPG's only. No turned based/point and click for me. I recognize they are great games for the people who like them. And i hope this new one turns out good for you all. But I despise that form of combat.

IO interactive game. Not exactly a top tier AAA dev. We knew this was coming, like we needed to waste time with Lenny Kravitz on this game. Too much time wasted on stuff already announced. And no real banger. Free to play hero shooter ends the show???? lame

They end the show last year with Intergalactic, a banger of epic proportions. But this year, a free to play pvp stylized hero shooter??? Like we need another one of those. After we had to sit through that cringey Street fighter movie rubbish, listening to that gang banter back and forth like we give a F what they have to say. Just announce the award and move on.

@themaladroit agreed control looks fantastic, but we knew remedy has been hammering away on that game for ages. The world premieres were just weak. Also, everything is in Space or Asian themed samurai/sword play. Its all getting tired. Esp all the Asian backdrop stuff. Need some new concepts in this industry

That was kinda lame compared to last year and other years as well. Too much time spent on stuff we already knew about. The final two reveals weren't bangers. The show started in mediocrity and ended in mediocrity

both versions look like dogmeat. its technically impossible for the remaster to be a downgrade on a game that looks like a horses a** to begin with. People love to just complain about every release going these days.

Bring killzone back please. The game was fantastic, and Sony needs a FPS. Opportune time right now too since COD is starting to get under even more peoples skins (no pun intended) these days. Killzone multiplayer was great and a nice alternative to BF and COD. Bring Resistance back too while you are at it.
