Got this game recently as a gift and gotta say.... loving it! And I'm definitely loving the bike driving mechanic more then I thought I would. Bravo Sony Bend on making a quality sp game!

Lol her e3 performance actually put me off towards the game. Thought it was a bit over the top if you ask me. Over enthusiastic I guess, but hey I never had to go pitch a game to a giant Japanese audience so I'll give her props for bravery.

@DerMeister Every time I read about people being confused about Death Stranding, I automatically think about MGS2 before it released and I cant help but be more excited for what's to come.

25th anniversary eh? Maybe my dream will come true and they'll remake all ps1 and ps2 need for speed games and put all remade tracks, cars and everything else into one glorious game.

Well ps4 doesn't have a Zelda game so there's no reason not to make one. They're just mad because Sonys knockoff will most likely be better then the original and the jokes on that guy cuz we all know hes going to get over it and buy another ps4 pro.

@Flaming_Kaiser Idk I played through the campaign twice and never really got frustrated with the controls. Just as good/bad as the first one imo.

Honestly thought rdr2 was better then the first. All the horse riding didn't bother me when i had gorgeously built world to do it in. Rockstar keeps getting better but hey, the haters need something to complain about lol.

Idk I bought it a couple days after it released and even after reading your review and I'm still playing it everyday. But I knew what I was getting into as I have been waiting to play this since it became popular. Sure it's no AAA game but it's a hell of an adventure and the player interaction can lead to some really intense moments. Honestly I have played games worse than this. If you have been waiting to play Dayz like I have and dont have $2000 to spend on a PC just to play one game, pick it up its worth it.

Add lightning, rolling thunder, High Speed Ring and I'll be ecstatic.

Give me Forza and reboot the Fable series on PS4 and I'd be happy.

My fiance and I have been playing the free trial together(as we have to TVs right next to each other ], and I have to say it s been a fun experience so far. We are only about level 10 or so have encountered around 20+ players without a single shot being fired! Going from GTA Online to this made that fact a bit mind blowing lol. Honestly have experienced any bugs except maybe a mole rat that couldn't get out of the ground, which I was okay with honestly lol.

Only buying if the story turns out decent, (assuming there is one) and only if it has a co-op multiplayer like mw2. Hell if they make the story mode co-op I'll buy the deluxe edition. After BO4 I'm personally holding these guys to a higher standard. I'm tired of being bummed out every time they add a new promo for something that looks like a new mode or story and it's all cosmetic. I know they finally added a new map and have been changing stuff to the old one but I dont even feel like bothering with that transaction fast anymore. It's not a terrible game by any means, I am just done paying full price for COD flop fish

@AshFoxX Completely agree! Gotta throw these guys some support. Cant expect every game to be top notch AAA quality. If they put their hearts into this it will show, even if it doesn't have the graphics of GT. Also thank God it's not an open world, my favorite thing about paradise was its soundtrack..that's it.

I'm not sure why we are worried about this competing with Mario Kart? Mario is on Nintendo and Crash is on PS4...okay well Crash is most likely ending up on Nintendo also but let's save that drama for Nintendo lyfe or whatevs it's called.
I also remember being put off how kind of slow the original CTR could be when I first played it but once you get that skill down and learn how to drift and build boost (I'm pretty sure that's how that worked) you end up flying through at hella speeds, that's where the fun is. Except for that one mud track, that ones always kind of slow. Point is, if you play this like a normal racer without its driftyboostyjumpin goodness, you're going to hate this game, BoostUpSon.

@Flaming_Kaiser Exactly! After Sammy mentions the 30fps, everyone on here seems up in arms. "60 fps or bust!!", like everyone forgot that most racers we have loved are 30fps and we had just as much fun. The only thing that has me worried is the originals sequel (that I never played), I really hope the developers went into this project knowing that majority of the people are nostalgic on the first CTR and not it's easily forgotten brother.

Meh. Played the beta and while it has really good looking environments and the combat is fun, something that turns me off with a shooter is when I make a head shot and it doesn't kill the guy but yet takes 2-3 headshots to kill. Just me but I prefer my shooters a little more unforgiving.

But I also have faith in Sony for supporting discs for atleast 2 more generations...hopefully.

Nope. The day I can't physically own the disk is the day I stop purchasing games and consoles. I might as well go PC at that point unfortunately. I'm perfectly happy with the four generations of video games to keep me entertained for the rest of my life. If i really wanted a game on a future disc less console. I promise I won't be buying the console or game for full price like i always have. I'll patiently wait for that weekend where I get the game for $15 or less right after i buy the console at a pawn shop.

@Cycologist Never played High Stakes?! You missed out, that was one of the good ones. Played that until NFS Hot pursuit 2 on ps2 came out. Now that was a masterpiece!

You guys really need to do a review of Monster Energy Supercross 2. I haven't played a motocross game since ps2 days. I'm amazed at how much they have improved. I just bought the first MESX and have yet to put it down yet. Once you up the difficulty you really have to be precise and fast if you want to win. These motocross games are getting so much better they need all the exposure they deserve for the developers hard work and dedication. I never thought I would buy a supercross game but after playing this I am definitely buying the 2nd MESX and prolly MX vs ATV All Out(I have heard this one has greatly improved after updates) after this. These should definitely be in the list for best racing games.

Ahh for ducks sake! Black ops 4 was such a waste of my money. I had my short lived fun and I appreciate the work they put into it but this whole BR needs to get put on the back burner and needs to get put in the list of multiplayer modes you can choose from instead of being a main focus. Only to be played after finishing their deep, well thought out single player campaign which can be played splitscreen as well.

Well since this is their first i.p. they should make it a little smaller to make sure they have a winning formula, then go bigger from their. It's not their first rodeo though so they should do well.

I should also add that despite the political correctness bs surrounding BFV, I was actually more interested in BFV cuz it was going to have sp missions, not very interesting ones apparently. But SPLITSCREEN in bo4 is what won me over...not battle royale. I will never pay full price for a battle royale game again not unless it comes with atleast a decent attempt at a story. I'm sure that's not gonna happen from these two companies anytime soon.

I unfortunately bought Black Ops 4. I was playing the demo with my gf ONLY because it had splitscreen. After about 2 weeks after our purchase, neither one of us barely touches it. Why? The "story" training missions stuck with no real depth. The Multiplayer maps are all pretty much uninteresting and no fun to play unless you like dying every 5 seconds. And the BR just gets old. I'll spend 10 minutes scavenging for a rifle and upgrades only to be killed 10 minutes later by some dude camping. Dont get me wrong BR has its replayability especially if you find yourself a good squad but this whole thing of BR being the main focus instead of a compelling story when it should just be a awesome multiplayer mode.

@RedMan33 Same here. I chose Leon the first time playing the original then realizing he had less slots. So after that I almost always chose Claire first, then Leon for scenario B. It feels almost wrong to change the recipe now.

Only ever unlocked Hunk before never Tofu. When I was a kid I always thought Tofu was just a name. Thought maybe it was a ninja lol. Never was a fan of time trials either but I'll have to make the exception.

@MaccaMUFC Besides the occasional arrogant a-holes, its actually a really fun mp.Also the main reason I still have ps plus. It's a tactical mp where team work actually matters, not a bunch of dip sticks jumping left and right in the air until they kill you. They are a few gimmicks that allow players to manipulate moves to get an advantage such as shoulder switching around a corner, but with the right team they dont stand a chance. Definitely worth a shot.
