What's that we spy in the latest PlayStation Blog update for the PlayStation Store? DayZ is coming to PS4 next week all of a sudden, arriving with absolutely no fanfare whatsoever.
Originally announced all the way back at the start of the generation during Sony's Gamescom 2014 keynote, the zombie survival shooter has suddenly popped up out of nowhere with a release date of 29th May. "The post-soviet country of Chernarus is struck by an unknown virus, turning the majority population into frenzied infected. Fighting over resources has bred a hostile mentality among survivors, driving what’s left of humanity to collapse. You are one of the few immune to the virus — how far will you go to survive?"
The world has certainly moved on since DayZ was all the rage, so it's going to be interesting to see how it stacks up when compared to the latest PS4 releases. Is this a game you're still interested in playing? Survive the comments below.

When games are released before full reviews can be published, then you know the game is going to be average at best!

No idea, is it free to play? Is it any good? Not seeing anything much being said which seems to suggest, maybe it's best ignored. Hmm.

No point. Everyone is busy with things like Anthem now.
I have it on Xbox and it's terrible. The most bugs I've ever seen in a game before. Literally unplayable, and will be the same deal on PS4. Buyer beware dude.

This game is way better on PC where you can run mods and other fan fixes to make the game more playable. I can't see any value in releasing the game on PS4 at all, let alone now.
Ha ha ha you need to check the pc version first before buying this piece of crap, it's buggy not even our of early access and there's hardly any content. When they do release it it gets raided and that's it once it's gone it's gone. There's cheaters the game is a joke and had been for years
Just remember what you're getting yourself into. It's developed on the PC then that release is configured for the Xbox and then the PS4.
At the moment, the PC one has many bugs despite 4 years of development and even today the keyboard mapping doesn't work correctly on the PC or Xbox.
But the concept of the game play is what drives people to want to play.
Just don't be surprised when you buy it, that you find it's a pile of poo. It does have it's moments.
Oh and the developers do not offer support for problems, you'll need to moan to other fans like the rest of us do for the last 4 years.

Oh its another one of these type games. This one looks even more cliche than the rest.
Between Days Gone and World War Z, I think I’ve got all the zombies I need on my PS4 for the time being.
