Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 166

SonuvLiberty

Playing some NFS Rivals on ps3 and maybe play The Run later. Honestly would rather be playing Hot Pursuit right now buut my copy has decided to leave its case and take a holiday I guess. Which doesn't matter anyways since its been glitching ever since I beat the game. What I really wish I had was a ps2 still so I could play my copy of NFS Hot Pursuit 2. Man oh man was that game well done! So many memories playing the heck out of that game! Brings a tear to my eye socket.. Thats a game EA should remaster and make all Ps4 Pro pretty! I would buy one copy day one! No wait.. twoooo copies! 😉

Earlier this week I purchased The Last of Us Remastered, which I put down because impressionable eyes and ears were in the room. I also bought The Last Guardian, Zelda BotW, and finally Horizon. I decided to put in Horizon until there wasnt kids around, and now I cant put it down. This world beautiful! The combat is soo much fun! I haven't been this hooked on a game since The Last of Us originally came out. Bravo to Guerrilla Games you guys really pulled this one off! I'm only about 15 hours in and loving every minute of it.

Re: Sony Temporarily Cuts PS4's Price in Europe to Counter Nintendo Switch

SonuvLiberty

Im just going to buy BoTW for the Wii U so I can finally give that $300 shelf box some purpose. If Nintendo gets a decent library I'll buy the switch when its under $200. Until then I'm going to enjoy my PS4 and my stack of games that I won't finish until halfway through the PS5 life cycle. That and wait anxiously for PS4 pro to drop under $300.

Re: Feature: The 10 Best PS4 Trailers of 2016

SonuvLiberty

I would have chose FFXV for #1 but at the time I was too stressed that they were giving too much stuff away to thoroughly enjoy it. The Last of Us was just awesome easily the winner for me. Then with Death Strandings ultra creepy weirdness slides in at a close third.

Re: Review: Steep (PS4)

SonuvLiberty

@frankmcma yeah they'll figure out eventually once they realize they are losing money which I imagine they are already. Honestly if I wanted to be online all the time I would buy a PC. I wont even start on my need for couch co-op to make a comeback.

Re: Review: Steep (PS4)

SonuvLiberty

@AlexStinton Dang ... Too bad... Welp way to go Ubisoft thats three games I wont buy from you now. The Crew, For Honor, and Steep. Its funny how they went from one of my favorite publishers to one of my least respected. Whatever their loss...

Re: Game of the Year 2016: #10 - Titanfall 2

Sounds interesting will definitely give this a buy. When people complain about short campaigns I think of games like the early Resident Evil's. Which can be completed in 3-10 hours depending on your pace and they're still considered classics.

Re: Feature: What Do Longtime Final Fantasy Fans Think of Final Fantasy XV?

SonuvLiberty

I love XV its very well done and you can feel the love put into creating this game. My only complaints are that the story doesn't dive as deep as it should but I believe that will peiced in with dlc then they will go on to sell a complete version later on. The other one is the repetitive remarks from everyone but I come to expect this sort of thing from open world type games, I just wish there was more variety.
My favorites in order are X,XII,XV,VIII,XIII.
VII and IX will likely enter the top 5 from what I hear but I have yet to play them. I was planning on buying the ps1 version s but I will wait and see what comes of this 30th anniversary jazz.

Re: Square Enix Has Plans for Final Fantasy's 30th Anniversary, Will Announce Them Soon

SonuvLiberty

Oh I can't wait for this. I have only to play most of VIII out of I-IX and still haven't beat that yet(im on the last disc, okay!). I almost beat XIII but got stuck towards the end, unfortunately same would said for XII lol. So pretty much this whole collection would be appreciated since disc conditions and no longer working systems stop me from finishing/ starting these beauties. Oh and I have mentioned before...30th anniversary PS4 Pro....I would buy one Square.

Re: For Honor Will Require an Internet Connection on PS4

SonuvLiberty

Way to go Ubisoft...ya blew it. I'm not interested in a online only experience, if I wanted that I would buy a PC. Now if you go ahead and slap on a delay, (which you may as well since it probably wont sell that well anyways,) and add splitscreen and do away with this online only nonsense, you may have some moneys o mine.

Re: Review: Final Fantasy XV (PS4)

SonuvLiberty

Honestly I am starting to think the bits and peices of story were left out or not yet worked on for future dlc purposes. They have a really solid game here and if they put effort into it they could turn this into something even more amazing. As for those of you having trouble with too many troop ships dropping in on you, I am about 56 hours in and have had like maybe 3 airship encounters.

Re: Review: The Last Guardian (PS4)

SonuvLiberty

Sounds good. I think I am going to buy it this weekend. But it will get put on the play waiting list after FFXV which I am about finished with, then finish KH Birth By Sleep which has been put off for too long. After that I will start at Ico and work my way to TrIco.

Re: PSX 2016: The Last of Us: Part II Is Real on PS4

SonuvLiberty

I will never understand the semi-hate for this game. Yeah it's nothing ground breaking but its done right. Personally I thought it would be an Uncharted zombie game when I bought it. Honestly it feels alot more solid then Uncharted's jump, jump around climb-a-thon. I love this game more then I thought I would, definitely in my top 5. Then again someone has to hate something just because a lot of people love it. Hate on hipsters!

Re: Final Fantasy XV Smashes All Sorts of Sales Records

SonuvLiberty

Really glad to hear they are doing so well. Of all of the games I have highly anticipated since I got a PS4(MGS V,FO4,TW3,FFXV, and a couple others I cant remember) this is definitely my favorite of them all. Why? This game has something that a LOT of games have been missing for some time, heart and soul. You could feel the love put into this before you even start it. Congratulations Square, keep em coming!

Re: Round Up: Final Fantasy XV PS4 Reviews Hit the Road

SonuvLiberty

@kyleforrester87 You'll be playing it before you know it!

I also wanted to mention too that the magic isn't that bad either IMO. You basically gather magic from sources out in the wild then make yourself a bomb(kinda), or you can mix multiple elements and throw in an item for various effects. Magic already saved me once out of tight spot against a final tough enemy after what was left after an onslaught of enemies. Everyone except myself were all dying and I was without any potions, elixirs or pheonix downs but I had a mixed spell from earlier called a healer thundercast (or something...basically thunder and an elixir mixed). Well the enemy just happened to be vulnerable to thunder so it was just enough to knock the baddie on his back and finish him off while I slowly came back from the brink.

Re: Round Up: Final Fantasy XV PS4 Reviews Hit the Road

SonuvLiberty

I am addicted. It took me about 7 hours to get fully into it and now I can't get enough. The only real annoying thing so far is the camera, which only becomes a problem when the fight gets pushed into a tight corridor but that doesn't make it unplayable, just a few seconds of annoyance. I was also disappointed at first about not being able to go wherever I may roam with the Regalia but it makes the Regalia and chocobos have their own purposes. Regalia for when traveling from town to town then chocobos for traversing the fields and woods. Even though you can only go a certain top speed in the car its much faster then a chocobo. Also I like the chocobo rental system where you can rent them days at a time and call upon them when you need them. I am currently about 17 hours in and its getting harder and harder to walk away each time I stop.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 145

SonuvLiberty

@kyleforrester87 That makes sense because when you start the game they just pretty much throw you into the mix. They dont make you sit through an hour of back story before you start the game. I'm looking at you Kojima!(not hating, just stating ). So anyone else on the fence about watching Brotherhood an Kingsglaive before playing...do it! Hell, when you open up the deluxe edition the Kingsglaive movie is in the first slot, pretty much indicating you should watch it first.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 145

SonuvLiberty

FFXV what else! I am about 6 hours in and I am loving it so far. There are some mixed feelings but that is pretty much normal when you have been anticipating a game for so long. Dont take that in bad way, the game looks completely gorgeous and combat is pretty fun the deeper you get into it. I also was going to wait to watch Kingsglaive after my first play through but I have changed my mind and will watch it later tonight before I continue playing. Also for those of you who haven't started it yet, after the initial download (physical copy btw) it will let you go to the main menu but you still have to wait like 25 minutes for more downloading before it will let you start playing a new game. Well there's an option on the menu that says open combat, it disappears after the downloading is done! Im not sure what is all involved because I started and quit to the main menu right away because I wanted to get into the story first. I just assumed it was some sorta battle arena extra but maybe its just an early combat tutorial that you can play while you wait.

Re: There's Excitement for a The Last of Us 2 Reveal at PSX 2016

SonuvLiberty

I cant wait for the next TLoU. The first one as right up my alley. Honestly I didnt expect to love it as much as I do. On another topic FFXV just showed up this morning and is just finished downloading as speak. Unfortunately I have to work in an hour and a half So happy! But anyways naughty dog n stuff...yeah.
