Yeah, I saw that tofu thing in the trailer at the end of the demo, wondering what it was. I never played too deeply into the original RE2.

See this is why this is going to be the best remake ever, keeping the mix of horror and sillyness but enough changes to make it fresh for people like me who've finished this more times than I care to remember. Also reminds us of the good old days of unlocking extras in game for playing well instead of going into the options and giving Ubisoft a few extra quid

@KingdomHeartsFan I can understand the frustration but with stuff like this we can't really ignore it. If it's in a trailer and all of Capcom's social media posts then we don't consider it a spoiler.

On the flip side, if we happen to find a secret Easter egg in Resi 2, we're not going to post a story about it and let everyone know, and if we did, the article would warn of spoilers and not reference the Easter egg directly in the main image or headline.

I didn't know about this tofu character, so I was incredibly confused at the end of the demo. I didn't know what was going on at all, I just assumed I'd had too much to drink

Are we sure it's tofu? Could be Styrofoam. They taste the same.

I tried tofu recently. It really is like styrofoam. Not that I've ever tasted styrofoam but if I did I bet it would taste like tofu.

@Nickolaidas yeah man. I meant I was hungry. Made a crispy chili tofu, sriracha, and violife cheese toasted sandwich. It was the damn nuts!

@ApostateMage needs to be cooked properly. Done right it's damn good. I use it in curries, sandwiches, stir fry... Long as you remove any excess water it'll absorb any flavour you throw at it, and go nice and crispy if you fry it.

@ShogunRok capcom's advertising has been very odd. I know it's an old game, but I assume because if it's age, there are plenty out there who haven't played as many times as me. The trailer following the demo was full of spoilers that occur quite far on in the game. I'm sure there are still some suprises for us who've played before, but I felt the amount of spoilers in the trailer for newer players was insane.

Only ever unlocked Hunk before never Tofu. When I was a kid I always thought Tofu was just a name. Thought maybe it was a ninja lol. Never was a fan of time trials either but I'll have to make the exception.
