Re: Review: Watch Dogs 2 (PS4)

SonuvLiberty

Wow I am surprised. I remember being intrigued by the first one and was going to try it until everyone said how bad it was. I was not even interested in this one at all until I got bored and read a review yesterday that said how fun it was and how alive the world felt. Then you guys are pretty much giving it two thumbs up also, and since I am currently in a GTA V mode right now I might have to get this one soon. Soo it leads me to a couple questions. How does this game offer music? Is it real music or their own creations? And does it play on radio stations in your car GTA style or is it on your smartphone radio??

@Bananaman678 Thanks for the suggestions I will definitely check them out. Except for MGS, I'm a pretty big fan of MGS so needless to say I played the crap out of it. I am thinking about picking up Dying Light Special Edition(or whatever it's called). As for those of you who haven't played Shadow of Mordor, the nemesis system makes the game worth buying. I have had like 2 orcs that kept whooping me and getting stronger. Their virtual deaths are on my bucket list.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 143

GTA V has crept back into the 'nilla ps4 somehow. Really need something new but like in the $20 range lol. I have been thinking about picking up the Mass Effect trilogy, but watching my mom play Dragon Age Inquisition it seems like it was kind of a rushed game. So hopefully the M.E. trilogy is a bit higher quality buut we shall see..

Re: Final Fantasy XV Will Get One Last Demo in Japan

SonuvLiberty

Exactly. Only 19 days to go so no real need for this, but thats okay. I will just be spending that time staring out the window waiting for the mailman. Then sprinting out to the mailbox everyday giggling to myself with false hope of its early arrival.

Re: Guide: Which Race Should You Pick in Skyrim on PS4?

SonuvLiberty

Always play the Nord on my first play through and follow along with the Storm Cloak rebellion. But this time i'm continuing where I left off before my mom decided to "give Skyrim a try" and never saw it again. Ill be playing playing an Orc and after I reach the greybeards I shall shut off the compass and wherever I may roam I shall destroy, steal, burn and shout down anyything in my path until I find a nice Orc settlement to settle down at. Then murda them all and call the place my own. Yes.

Re: Review: Battlefield 1 (PS4)

SonuvLiberty

I'm positive the answer is no because it's EA, but I have to ask. Does it have an offline mode for multiplayer? That right there would be enough reason for me to pay more money up front instead waiting a year to buy it for cheap just to play a short campaign.

Re: How Much Better Does Skyrim Look on PS4?

SonuvLiberty

@ShogunRok Or when you accidentally shoot your companion in the back of the head when they decide to cross in front of you at the last second, and they're crouched down on the ground you look at them like "what!? It was an accident!" Then they do it to you and your all "bro seriously!? I paid you 500 gold man, be professional!" The best part is tho, walking around for 2 minutes with an arrow stuck in your face. That game is as fun as it is frustrating. Definitely buying the remaster.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 140

Well just got done playing a good solid 20 minutes of Shadow of Mordor aaand now Im bored so now Im slapping in The Witcher 3 which I will finally finish this weekend. Honestly should just go get the complete edition because this one has already broke itself once on a mission and no matter what save I load old or new about 1/8 of Novigrad wont load, its just Geralt walking on air running into invisible stuff.

Re: PS4 Exclusive The Last Guardian Finally Goes Gold

SonuvLiberty

Google is a gateway drug to knowledge my friend! Often misinformed...but knowledge nonetheless! As for the spiritual successor thingy, I don't believe it was ever stated that Ico and SotC were in the same universe, buut I might be wrong on that one. I thought they just threw us into the world with no real story or knowledge(okay im really getting sick of this word) of what was going on. It was more just video game art so to speak. I base all this off a interview with the creator I read years ago. I also never finished either of his games so I cant say whether or not a connection between the two was established.

@verynaughtyboy "A spiritual successor, sometimes called a spiritual sequel, is a successor to a work of fiction which does not build upon the storyline established by a previous work as do most traditional prequels or sequels, yet features many of the same elements, themes, and styles as its source material, thereby resulting in it ..." Knowledge son. Boom!
(Edit: I misspelled knowledge lol)
(Edit 2: Now im staring at the word too long, questioning its pronunciation and its existence)

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 139

Not really sure what to play at this moment.. I bought like 6 snowboarding movies to get myself psyched for the upcoming season(not sure if you kids are into that in the U.K.), which I am going to have to drop about $1700 before it hits...ugh. Which reminds me the only thing that stops Shaun White Snowboarding from being a constant play for me is the stupid fact that you can't play your own music from the PS3 hard drive! Honestly tho, thats half of snowboarding right there, riding to your own music! Seriously pisses me off!!(sorry for the harsh language Tasuki ) Other than that I really need to finish Ven and Aqua's story on Birth By Sleep so I can finally start reading and watching up on the next installment of Kingdom Hearts awesomeness!!!

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 139

@KratosMD I completely agree about Bloodborne. I grinded about halfway through the the first area before I decided to.charge straight through to the first boss only to be annihilated after about 40 seconds. Plus I was still trying to figure out how to level up in this game, which is why I loved it immediately! No hand holding thats too overdone these days! Unfortunately the frustration that set in which I haven't felt since the ps2 days made me drop it but its definitely up for a replay soon!

Re: Video: Red Dead Revolver PS4 Readies Us for Redemption 2

SonuvLiberty

Idk I loved RDR back tha day, had so much fun playing it. I always remember I got my mom into it and we would always play splitscreen and team up. And the mission with Pig Josh, holy crap for those who dont remember that boss fight was friggin nutz!! Also remember the stupid duel with Billy the Kid (or something like that) towards the end of the game. It was one of those missions that made you want to smash the controller into the wall! This game was the only reason I bought Gun afterwards. There was another western game that came out after these two called Call of Juarez or something but never peaked my interest but I am curious if it was a good game or not if anybody remembers it.

Re: Video: Should You Buy Mafia III for Your PS4?

SonuvLiberty

Alright well controversial stuff aside. I'm not surprised it starts to feel like an assassins creed game. Tell me do we have to climb fifteen water towers in New Bordeaux (or however it is spelled) to unlock more of the map. What I really want to know is the world inside and outside of town fun enough to drive around for hours with nothing to do?

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 138

SonuvLiberty

Finally making my way through Far Cry 3 after putting it down right after buying it. Not sure why probably because I bought it right after beating FC4 and was put off by the graphics. Otherwise im really getting into Killzone Shadow Fall's botzone again. I jus wish the game would save statistics so i could unlock attachments offline. Also needs a bot increase and for the love of God would it kill them to allow me to play splitscreen?! Still better then KZ 2 and 3's botzone.

Re: Fresh Final Fantasy XV Trailer Shows Off a Newer Build of the Game

SonuvLiberty

This is looking great! I can't wait for this! But honestly Square needs to stop with the trailers. Not that im not enjoying it but this the first new video I have watched since platinum demo came out. Like when they recently came out with a video about customization and other stuff, its like c'mon guys save us a bunch of surprises for when the game comes out! Its just going make the overall experience more enjoyable and memorable and less predictable. Personally I have seen enough to know I'm going to enjoy this so I'm avoiding anything and almost everything. Well try to..

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 137

SonuvLiberty

Since wood cutting season is finally among us I wont have too much time for games the next few weeks but im sure I'll find time regardless Jus got Dynasty Warriors 8 in the mail earlier this week so will prolly pop that in tonight for a bit. Its actually the first one I have owned but always used to play the heck out of a demo back in the day. After DW8 tho I'll throw in one of the Killzones for some bot training since my aiming has gotten rusty. After that I think I'll put in some FFVIII. Awhile back I got to disc 3 and put it down for awhile but im really craving an rpg story right now so it might be a good time to start edging towards the end of it since ya know FFXV's release is on the horizon....again.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend - Issue 134

SonuvLiberty

Recently bought Bloodborne and GTA V. Bloodborne is great and has a great atmosphere to it that almost reminds me of the o.g. Devil May Cry, but man its frustrating! Not giving up though as its as fun as it is irritating. So right now doin some drive bys in first person! Next I think I'll fly up as high as i can for some first person free falling..parachute free of course! Been wanting to do it since Ive bought it, cant wait!

Re: Poll: Will You Be Buying a PS4 Pro?

SonuvLiberty

Most likely not buying a pro. Ill do like I have done with every ps lifecycle. Play the launch system until it sh!ts out or someone else in the family finally wants one then go buy myself the slim model. This usually happens towards the end of the gen. lifespan so guess we'll jus have to wait and see what kinda prices n bundles we gots to play with. If anything Ill try out the NX first. Never was a huge nintendo guy but I first started playing games on the NES as a lad so can't totally hate em. This is the last chance for them tho, last time I dropped $300 and it got played maybe 7 times...and there it sits. Definitely waiting for a solid line up before purchasing, and thats a problem Ive never had with PlayStation...ever! Sony4life baby!!

Re: Rumour: Fallout: New Orleans Logo Trademarked

SonuvLiberty

Fallout vegas had to be the worst game for me. That game constantly froze. I mean I can withstand a few bugs and glitches but sheesh that one wanted me to smash the controller against the wal, take it out back and put it out of my misery, then bury it and dance on its grave! Fallout 3 rarely crashed and I had blast with it. Skyrim had planty of setbacks but still more playable then FO:V. Fallout 4 hasn't really given me any trouble at all the game only froze up once coming out of an elevator while aiming my gun, when that happens though its only for about 10 seconds then gets its crap back together. Idk I think they are slowly getting better then they were before so cut them slack. Then again maybe I just have better luck with Bethesda then everyone else lol.
