@tomassi ha same here. I actually wouldn't mind giving it a go...I just cant muster the energy.

The artstyle just doesn't click with me. The first game was a nice time waster on the go, but couldn't motivate myself to finish it.

After completing the story and majority of the side missions, not sure I will return until DLC. The final few missions seem tied to the remaining few people I need to complete the last bits of research in my kingdom. Said missions would involve searching the whole game world for a specific item or other (no spoilers). I simply don't want to spend what little time I have playing games doing that. I also don't like looking at guides. Hmph!

I don't care about crossplay. I DO care about buying Fortnite on another console, playing it once on a PS4 and then not being able to bring my account back or to another console again! It's mad and just seems spiteful. I don't even play Fortnite.

Looks great. Not sure about the TRON diver suit. Interested to find out more about how deep this game is and the progression structure.

Looking forward to giving this a go. The kicker is that the only way to access the beta/demo is to preorder.

The wireless charging would be an excellent addition. I hope for backwards compatibility with DS4. New iterations of controllers only improved incrementally. I don't see the DS5 being any different. The console design itself looks nice and sleek.

@Flaming_Kaiser Sure it is 3rd person. Its just over the shoulder, not fixed angle like the original.

I have no interest in Just Cause. Just seems so last gen in terms of game design. It doesn't matter how big the world is, if its the same outcome every time (explosions).

Cloud for me. Between FF7, Kingdom Hearts, Dessidia, the Advent Children movie and other related spin offs, Cloud has certainly done more for the playstation brand. Questionably properly kickstarted the West's interest in JRPGs. Aloy is a great character, but it's just one game.

@Elodin I enjoyed the game. The atmosphere and combat suited me just fine. At the prices it goes for now, it may be worth taking for a spin.

As long as we can parachute out of a vertibird, have an encroaching radiation cloud and build on the fly with cosmetic MTs it should do well. See Fortnite and H1Z1.

I can understand PUBG's stance on this. It isn't just the fact it is a Battle Royale, its the ever-decreasing circle, the way you drop into the battlezone and the loot element of the game. Same with H1Z1, its literally a skin. If it was a driving game or sports game, I understand how it cant be protected, but this is a lot more niche.

Wondering which tagline will sit under the final review. "It sucks!" or "Bloody good". I hope its the latter.

I can admit to doing this. Only with chocolate milkshake, however. I have standards y'know.

Even though it shouldn't, it still sounds appealing to me. Learn the ropes in the short campaign and then go online for potentially infinite special missions to level up your character and unlock new cosmetics. Hmm, one for the sale that will probably happen in a couple of weeks. £20 and I'm in!

Wouldn't buy, but sure others may be interested. Just place them in a PS1 Classics folder in the PS store and I will pick my favourites.

I'm ready now. Need an excuse to buy a new tele and wont be investing in a PS4 Pro this far in.

The vague weirdness is starting to irritate me. Hopefully we see substantial gameplay soon.

Not again!

Kat and Joel. Not played either of the other games. Joel's character was just so well developed, the cutscenes of TLOU could be watched back to back and still be entertaining. In fact, they did do a live show with the voice actors.

Maybe an eight once these things get fixed. To be honest, I'm enjoying watching people play this on YouTube. I don't have enough time to invest unfortunately. Even taken to turning on Ni No Kuni 2 and switching off the tele just to get more cash in from my kingdom whilst I mow the grass etc...

On the movies, they did seem to have a weird charm about them, but, in my opinion, they fall under entertaining but not good. Like a McDonalds burger.

With the only other first person action open-world FPS being Far Cry at the moment, I am excited to see something enter the market with a different take on it. Eagerly awaiting gameplay.

Hopefully this will allow the situations in game to be well balanced and the tension appropriately set. Looking forward to this game more and more.

Hopefully the dev will implement an end game (just being able to continue dungeon delving and stocking shop to earn money would be enough). Can see myself getting absorbed in this game only to be shocked by an abrupt end.

As long as its backwards compatible bring it on! I'm always excited for new console releases and as time moves on, technology moves at an ever quickening pace. Understand others wanting to hold out due to just picking up new hardware, or just not being bothered, but I'd get it now haha

Looks great and glad the humour has been kept intact! Wonder how the flying sections are managed. They were the only downside to a trio of excellent games. Well, that and the other playable characters imho.

Would love for all the rumours above to be true. Guessed late 2019 release, but would take earlier!

@AFCC I really want Kratos to roar "Word Up, Son" when jumping off a cliff into an Ogre or something.

@JoeBlogs I am cynical because I believe that the revenue has now dropped for microtransactions, so it makes business sense to drop them, make the claim for goodwill and ride that wave to the bank with new sales.

6 months too late. They know the majority of the lootbox booty has been raked in already. Now, it's retroactively fixing their PR. Absolute rubbish and gutting for people who did partake in its toxic economy on release. I stand by never buying games with lootboxes and this is just one of the reasons why.

I can see the time games like this demand could be a de-tractor.

Shame. I am also disappointed and a little turned off.

I liked the capture aspect of the first game. Let see if collecting higgledies (awful name) is as addicting!
