@Ricksta pls read and understand the article first before posting something like this. PSSR was enabled from day one. There was just and issue when you started on base ps5 and carried the progression over to a ps5 pro, in this case PSSR could stopped working - due to the patchnotes.

Haha funny this Games is on my ps5 drive since years but beside some short testing I did not play it further so far. Ok then wait for this update and play it somewhen later.

@AI-Generation it most likely will look the same as before with the PSSR system toggle on. It’s now just baked in whatever your system setting is.

The game for sure had pro support from day 1 and also PSSR. New PSSR was available by the system toggle but now it’s “baked in” with this patch. You most likely won’t see a noticeable difference but nevertheless it’s nice that they added this in this patch.

Sheesh therefore Spiderman 2 is the first Sony first party game with a dedicated update that mentions the enhanced PSSR in its patchnotes.

This game is such a mess, it’s just laughable at this point.

Terrible news. I see the development and people already buying more digital versions but this is also more or less the end of discounts around the release and no more giving games to friends.
Gaming is in a terrible state currently. That’s getting more and more a luxury and totally missing out what’s the main idea of console gaming.

These are the regular maintenance updates, containing some small fixes and security updates most likely - same as you get from time to time on your smartphone, pc, smart-tv, whatever.
Always good for some news and funny comments online but most often not worth the interactions.

@Flobbots mostly no need to. You sacrifice frames for a slightly higher native resolution, a difference you won’t notice anyway after the PSSR upscaling.

@Retron you don’t know exactly how this turns out with the next Xbox. Let stream run on such a machine would also be another nail in the Xbox coffin. Xbox fans still believing that this platform has any kind of impact but it’s more dead than alive.

007 is such a great game. A mix of Hitman and Uncharted with a little bit of Max Payne 3 added to it. Had 20 hrs of fun with this game and still playing some of the Tech Sim missions.
Batman and Crimson Desert are on my list as well but not need to rush.

It’s nice. Really nice addition for the fans. Had a lot of fun with the game on base ps5. Might replay it one day on the pro with the enhanced visuals.

Microsoft is flip flopping around since years. Even this game will come to the ps5 at some point. Sales again will be pretty low on the series consoles. They need the ps5.
