Re: Crimson Desert Release Times: When Can You Start Playing?

Reeneman

@MrPeanutbutterz There’s no need to hustle around a pre-order. It’s nothing special or anything that will be sold out. Wait for the reviews next week and then let’s see.
A game of this size will of course get tons of additional patches over the upcoming months. No need to rush here.

Re: As PS6 Delay Rumours Swirl, Fans Debate Ray Tracing's Worth

I would strongly agree here. RT can be pretty impressive but it doesn’t have to make a game look better everytime. Even with static lightning we saw and still see amazing results. RT, especially on consoles, is heavy and often cause visual issues. Often it’s not worth it.

Re: Crimson Desert Confirms PSSR 2 on PS5 Pro, But Glowing Previews All Based on PC Version

@SodaPop6548 their focus was on the ps version. It’s pretty obvious that the version they have currently on the consoles isn’t good enough - otherwise we would already have seen footage of it. They trying to optimise it as much as they can but it wouldn’t have hopes for stunning specs and performance of this heavy game. Let’s wait the reviews of the final product on the consoles.

Think the intro scene in this game at the church during night in the beginning is still visually absolutely impressive.
Good game overall. Can remember when it got a huge patch back then on ps4 with around 12-18 Gb. Huge patch during this time, more or less a standard size or nothing special these days

Re: 'It's the Real Deal': Tech Experts Praise PS5 Pro's Upgraded Upscaler

The image shown as header of the article is really misleading because it has barely anything to do with the new PSSR version at all. It’s a different lighting due to RT and mostly not the most favourable shot of the base ps5 version.
Don’t like this approach because there is already so much misunderstand of all this stuff by many people. Doesn’t get better with these misleading examples.
