Back when Ubisoft announced it was reimagining Rayman Legends for PS5, it also confirmed that 2011’s Rayman Origins would be getting an Enhanced Edition for modern hardware.
And here’s our first look at it in full 4K – fancy!
In truth, this looks a lot like I remember the PS3 original, which was a staggering achievement at the time. There are some new features in this version, though.
First and foremost, the PS Vita-exclusive Relics have been added to this PS5 edition, incorporating all of the hardest-to-find collectibles from the excellent handheld port.

These can be used to unlock hidden videos and other additional content, which is a nice bonus.
In addition, there’ll be a ton of new skins to unlock, various quality-of-life enhancements – such as the ability to skip cutscenes – and even accessibility options to keep the gameplay appealing at all levels of play.
The best part? You’ll get this game for free alongside the aforementioned Rayman Legends Retold on 1st October, so you’re basically getting two games in one here.
