Thrilled what they can achieve visually as a ps5 only expansion. Probably some additions and new visual features might make the jump also in the base game.

GT7 was fine (with a bit slower cars, not the extremely powerful ones in the beginning).
Might buy a Moss game or the Kayak one. Could be nice for the beginning was well. And I will try out the demo from the 3D puzzle game
Will be hard to stay away from Star Wars becaude I love the franchise. But the moving was clearly too fast for day1 with the headset xD

Feels very similar for me. Already in love with GT7 since it’s release and now with VR… it’s fantastic.
Racing already felt better for me in my second session. I felt very uncomfortable with the Star Wars demo on day one… but that clearly was too much especially with the free walking in the game.
Horizon already felt better again yesterday. Very quick moving and walking around wasn’t so good but when I did everything a bit slower it was so nice. Shooting with the bow and grabbing things in the game is so much fun!

I received my PSVR2 on Saturday. Very impressed so far. A bit overwhelmed with GT7 and Horizon call of the mountain.
During my first session I felt the motion sickness relatively heavily. Yesterday it was already better.

@SilenceCZ ps5 patch is not possible due to the lack of VR1 backwards compatibility. They need to release a proper Ps5/VR2 version.

Framerates are mostly stable on ps5 and the fps doesn’t really fall below 48 fps.
Dolby Vision for gaming is mainly a marketing thing currently. There 1-2 real Dolby vision games on the Series? Test haben been shown that there is not really a noticeable improvement over HDR.
For older games the series consoles are very good but I don’t buy a new gen console to play old games that often.

@GamingFan4Lyf there is simply no reason that the ps5 is collecting dust. Even current 3rd parties running better on the ps5 and the console has the better controller.

Series consoles already have been heavily outsold by the ps5 and that for a reason: Sony simply has the much better package and a more attractive game lineup.
The strategy by Ms in this gen in simply awful. Huge 12 TF hype without a single exciting release game - most powerful console ever advertised with backwards compatible games… 2 years after release not a single exciting release and it’s still getting worse. Starfield alone won’t save this console.

@TrickyDicky99 uff your statements are full of a lot of non-knowledge about game development.
Horizon FW has so many improvements over the ps4 version. The whole in game lighting, resolution and most important the performance mode (with VRR often around 60-90 fps).
I guess you are the first one to cry when there are real next gen games out, like you said, that only running with 30 fps.
Nevertheless the Horizon VR game and GT7 are absolutely showcases for the VR headset, doesn’t matter it GT is cross gen or not. The game looks amazing and offers every mode in VR (except splitscreen of course).
Stop crying with cross gen or not. Even PC game are made to run on lower hardware as well, that doesn’t make modern pc games looking worse in any way.

@NEStalgia the statement that it looks like a ps3 game is too harsh in my opinion.
It reminds on the ps3 era in many areas that’s true. In the video from Digital foundry it’s impressive to see how important a good lightning in a game really is and that’s the point: that’s heavily missing here.
Hopefully they can improve it. Framerate as well.

It’s a good sign that they don’t abandon the game and continue to work on it.
The issues with the game are to heavy to fix them with patches but I hope they can achieve at least a significant improvement with their engine overall and the visual. Let’s hope for the best.

@Grimwood believe I had this impression as well after I tried out GT3 on the PS2 years ago… it all changed with GT7. The game still has some flaws but nevertheless it’s a beautiful one and onesie the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had.

@lacerz yepp, this is really the quiet highlight here with this update.
This took over 2 years now to implement… uff. Whatever happy that it has arrived now.

@Cpt-Price the RT mode in Cyberpunk feels surprisingly good. In Witcher 3 the 30 fps feeling unplayable for me.

VRS is turned off with the latest patch. Image quality is much improved.

The app is pretty nice!

@itsfoz it’s not just related to graphics. Overall compression, audio files, probably any pre-rendered scenes… the engine itself and how assets are handled.

There was soo much bs shortly after the ps5‘s release. These channels want clicks and nothing more.
Where are the overheating RAM chips? Haven’t heard anything about it since a while.

@Mr_B021 fully agree. GT7 has it’s flaws but nevertheless it’s one of the best racing games of all time. I’m literally addicted to it since release. Beautiful game and so much fun to collect and drive all these cars.

Absolutely fell in love with GT7 since it’s release.
The game has its flaws but otherwise it hits sooo many spots with a nearly perfect. Car handling, tuning, visuals, HDR implementation is easily one of the best in the gaming market.
It’s a stunning game.
Just hope they would add more exciting singleplayer content in the future like the challenges or championships.

Unsteady framerate of less than 30 fps

Regardless all the trouble with CP2077 and the lies told by CDPR… massive respect for them to bring this for free to owners of the old versions. We already got mid gen updaters for this game and now 7 years after it’s release this new update with the mods included… that’s fantastic.

„Bought“ the demo for 0,25 € in Germany and I don’t really like it. The world feels dull and empty. Magic system and fights are okay but nothing I was excited about.
Also the visuals are meh in my opinion. Was hoping for a good showcase for the ps5 here but games like GT7, Horizon 2 and so many others looking way(!) better compared to this game.
