@JohntheRaptor I have never known a game to be perfect right out of the box. Most of us can agree that Crimson Desert had issues at launch, and Pearl Abyss acknowledged them as well. Since then, the studio has worked continuously to improve and refine the game, and I appreciate that effort. Some people will still focus on the problems rather than recognize the fixes that are making the game more enjoyable. I cannot think of many developers who respond this consistently, and others could learn from how Pearl Abyss addresses bugs instead of waiting months to act.
Should the game have been in better shape at launch? Yes, but like many games, it was not. Even so, I did not pile on the criticism the way many others did. Nothing is perfect. I experienced a few bugs on the PS5 Pro, but complaining would not have helped me, so I let it go. I still plan to get the DLC and play it when I return to the United States.

@VenomUK I agree... what Pearl Abyss is doing surpasses (in my opinion) other game studios. I liked the game a lot and can completely get lost in it too... I am so ready for what Pearl Abyss will do next

Devil's advocate - Is this Sony's way of distracting from the physical/digital disc, blackout, GTA6, and who knows what is happening... Just so odd that this is all happening, and yet it seems that the distraction is truly working
Edit... I cannot forget about the numerous stories of PS5 Pro sales jumping in the wake of the extended trailer for GTA6 on Netflix... just saying... Sony/PlayStation is doing a number on the spin and it truly seems to be working too

@ShogunRok I would like to know your review and honest thoughts too. I pre-ordered the game and this review, to be honest, doesn't seem all genuine and kind of bias. Besides, I loved Witcher 3 a lot and suspect this game will be great.

The game looks crazy good and believe millions will enjoying playing it too.

Microtransactions = Hard Pass.
I never will understand games wanting to include microtransactions whatsoever. If the game is good then those would be unnecessary. Any game that has those microtransactions will always be a hard pass for me.

have to be honest, I am more intrigued by the next reveal from the hacker... that person is going insane. some can say what they want about getting the hacker or worse, but it is crazy funny watching the sweat

Another round goes to Sony... So many people (especially in the USA) could careless if PlayStation goes digital. Between CoD, NFL (National Felons League), Fortnite, and so much more, this will not phase PlayStation whatsoever. Is it a great idea? Yes? Will it work? Not as much as I would like for it to work. Will I participate? Nope? Why? I will be enjoying my vacation to Rome and Finland for the next 3 weeks.

I will be sleep during the State of Play and will catch up with the highlights the next day. I have real world work to do, but hope it is a good show for those who watch

why is there so many zombie games coming out? just curious and nothing more... just seem to coming out every other month or something. well, i am glad people are enjoying them

I stopped playing due to the riddles and riddles of bugs. I may pick it up again, but not sure either. I am happy for those who did not get the bugs and glad they enjoyed

I loved this game and kind wish the castle itself was able to be explored more as well as more Hogsmeade. I might pick the game up again to play as it was fun. Also, for the love of god, I hope they do not make into a live-service game as it will be a disaster.

I am truly enjoying Crimson Desert and the fact that they are putting in the work in addressing problems too. I do not ever remember a developer doing this whatsoever. DLC... That should be really good... Multiplayer... not my thing, but know people would want it.

its ironic that so many people that were "dropping" PlayStation for doing away with disc are itching to buy this limited edition. guess it shows that PlayStation still has the power to persuade some people to buy their product. guess the whole thing of not support PlayStation has disappeared. Round goes to PlayStation. Nope, I am not buying due to price and I already have 3 PS5 Pros and 4 PS5 standard all with disc

Wonder if THQ Nordic will do Kingdoms of Amalur for PS5? Yes, it is on the PS4 as a remake, but give it PS5 look or something... Probably won't happen

I know this post is old, but started playing the game and I admit I like it thus far. I picked the game up from Walmart over the weekend. I am way early in the game and definitely need to continue practice with combat, but again I am enjoying it.

I am all set for Marvel's Wolverine as that's the only game I am looking forward to more than anything. I may pick up The Blood of Dawnwalker as I found the collector's edition I may buy... Other than that, the other games really do not interest me, but hope those who do buy enjoy them

I pre-ordered two copies of this game. Insomniac is so going all in and I am for it!

It was a fun game. True it need improvements here and there, but fun for me. I would give it a B+ as I believe IOI will continue to improve on the feedback from the players.
As far as Amazon, I would not trust anything that comes out of their mouth. Yes, they own the rights and will destroy the game too. Just let IOI do their thing and not interfere

I hope UbiSoft can add a Field of View, but I know that is wishful thinking and doing a remake of the first WatchDog would be incredible. however, we should not lose sight of the disc debacle either

Starfield had a rough start because of crashes on PS5, but it improved over time and more improvement still should occur. I finished the base game and really enjoyed it. I haven’t started the DLC yet, and I didn’t add any Creations during my playthrough because I was trying to earn trophies. Overall, I had a lot of fun and hope to see even more added to Starfield in the future.

I would like to see this game and Infamous 2 for the PS5

@twitchtvpat you are correct and forgot to factor that in... just so crazy and has me thinking about the whole PS6 Digital version. wonder if PlayStation wants to keep cost down or something. who knows...

So, if PlayStation decides to delete games for whatever reason, will those who purchase the game lose them? I say that because that is what happen when digital purchase of movies got pulled and those who purchased them no longer had access.

I have to admit I am having second thoughts in buying the game because of the micro transactions. why? if you have a great game, then you don't need micro transactions. If I do buy, it won't be right away

@Jacko11 they should... this is important, but know many would not or simply do not care and the reason why Rockstar is releasing all this now... a great distraction tactic
