As part of its San Diego Comic-Con panel earlier today, Insomniac dropped the story trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine, ahead of its PS5 exclusive release on 15th September.
This mostly focuses on in-game cinematics from the upcoming action adventure, and it looks awesome.
We get a glimpse of both Sabretooth and Lady Deathstrike, who were confirmed for the game recently, as well as The Hand.
We also see a few new locations from the title, including a casino, which looks like it’ll feature a playable Jean Grey segment. Her relationship with Logan looks like it’ll be foundational to the story.

As far as I’m concerned, this is pure PlayStation pomp and ceremony – the visuals are staggering and I’m loving the variety of environments, considering this is a single player globe-trotting affair.
It’s worth noting the footage is captured on PS5 Pro, so this is the game being presented at its very best.
I’m not sure whether this is going to be the most original experience ever – but I am expecting a white-knuckle comic book romp, and I couldn’t really ask for much more from a Wolverine game, personally.
