Coincidentally, my brother who is on vacation out of town sent me a photo an hour or so ago of a major South African retailer's shop with all of its PS5 stock and I personally haven't seen so many PS5's before in front of me. I think there were around 30 or so PS5 bundles in the aisle.
And now she has come out and said that she has been asked not to play the game at all... so if that is true, what does she know about the game and how fans will receive it? Oh my god.
Indies are mostly where it's at anyway, given the current AAA climate that is very hit-or-miss. PlayStation promoting AND backing indie titles should give more developers the chance to realize their dream project.
And some people will go to extensive lengths just to get that clout. There are some YouTubers who also post '4K Ultra 60FPS Gameplay' videos of upcoming games that have no officially released footage yet. The thumbnails look pretty eyecatching and they put quite a bit of effort into making it look legit. And then they get 200K+ views on a fake video.
2022 has nearly come and gone and we want to know more about Sony's other IPs. Already bored of Gran Turismo 7 and I am holding off on getting HZFW till it gets a big discount or is bundled in a complete edition.
Not expecting anything big in September. If they show another 30 second clip of God of War Ragnarok though I might actually be excited for once in my life.
Not buying the game just yet. Imagine paying full price for an enhanced experience you've probably had many times before, since most people have at least played TLOU a few times and TLOU Part 2 at least once.

Re: CD Projekt Red to Test Games on All Platforms Equally Going Forward, Not Just on PC

Re: Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Won't Have Difficulty Options, Producer Says Its 'Not an Easy Game"
I love all of the FromSoft games from Demon's Souls and onwards, but the punishin difficulty of Wo Long's demo just put me off from the start.

Re: First Impressions: Cartoonish RTS Warpaws Pits Dogs vs Cats on PS5
Can't help but think this will not appeal at all to classic RTS fans. It's not as if 'new school' RTS fans are in ample supply

Re: Conquer the Lands Between All Over Again in Elden Ring: The Board Game
As a board game enthusiast I do not usually like the oversaturation of these franchise tie-ins, but let's see how this goes.
Re: Mini Review: Metal: Hellsinger (PS5) – Brilliant Gameplay Surrounded by Banality
Played 4 levels on Game Pass. Really worth a shot on the subscription but 40 is way too much for a game like this.

Popcorn is extra crunchy after that.

Re: Rumour: Sonic Frontiers Will Make You Pick 60FPS or 4K Resolution on PS5
if 4K30 is viable then surely 1440p60 is... it's less than half the pixel count of 4K
Re: Rumour: Over 40 Minutes of Diablo 4 Gameplay Has Apparently Leaked
Watched a snippet of the 5-minute leak. I am pretty sure Blizzard can use some info from the video to discern the leaker.
Re: Deathloop Free Update to Add New Weapon, Ability, Extended Ending, More
Played and finished on PC last year... not worth it at all at full price. On PS Plus/Gamepass it's definitely worth a try though

Re: Housemarque Appears to Have Confirmed PC Port of Returnal During GDC 2022
@dasd2 Well considering PCs are always ahead, technically the current hardware is already 'next-gen' or at least two thirds the way there.
Re: Housemarque Appears to Have Confirmed PC Port of Returnal During GDC 2022
Returnal with DLSS/FSR support will be insanely good. I've yet to get past the second world in Returnal but I will love to try it out on PC

Re: Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty About 40 Hours Long with Linear, Level-Based Structure
Hopefully better than Nioh. I haven't touched Nioh 2 so can't comment on how good that was.
