A very boring state of play. I watched it all in 2 mins by skipping most of it this morning. Nothing interesting.

@add286 Returnal was released on the service, and the game had just barely scratched past the 1-year mark.

That is BIG. I have been holding off on both Scarlet Nexus and HFW. Can't believe I will be able to play HFW paying less for 1 year subscription than what the game actually costs.

Meanwhile I'm busy enjoying a game AT RELEASE that isn't as buggy as any of CDPR's recent games after 2+ years AFTER release. Namely, Hogwarts Legacy. And it's a blast.

Well, since you have access to GoW 2018 you might as well play that game and it'll tell you whether you will like Ragnarok.

@Arnna I'm past the point of wondering why I don't 'get' it. There are countless games that I love, but popularity is definitely not an indicator of quality. Haters gonna hate, but I just think that TW3 is lacking when it comes to actual gameplay. And if you are going to spend hundreds of hours in a game, then at least it should FEEL good to play it.

Another reason for me to never play this game. I can't get into TW3 for some reason.

Very glad to hear. But just be cautious: fully playable from start to finish means nothing if the 'game' currently stands at 1 hour playtime. But of course they don't mean that. And of course fully playable doesn't mean 'we have sorted out the 15fps drop issues in these 50 places'.

I am super excited to play this. Docking points because of the JKR controversy is not fair in my view, because creative works should be able to stand on their own without pulling in the views of their creators. And in this case the creators were Avalanche and not some person on the internet.

Can't wait for 15 years from now to play a remake of a remake of every good game that was already remade.

Was lovely to have the collection when I just got my PS5 in 2021. At the time the only PS4 exclusive I had played was The Last of Us and (the best out of the lot) Bloodborne, so there were plenty to keep me busy.

Decent episode for a TV show. But for Last of Us itself, I didn't feel like it did the game justice by deviating so much from the actual story. Bloating the show with a filler episode.

Just sounds laborious to me. But let's see how it pans out when the game releases.

@DigimonMonster similar situation for me. I am trying this year to really cut back on buying games at release, and I keep reminding myself that there are so many games that I only played 5, 10, 20 years after release and still enjoyed them immensely. And like you said, it is much cheaper and you get the 'GOTY' or 'COMPLETE' Edition for next to nothing.

Got it on PC and played for an hour but would like to refund, just because the game is not actually that exciting to play having played the original quite a few times since its release. Unfortunately I found out that whilst AFK the game was 'running' on Steam but not actually open so the 2 hour grace period for refunds has lapsed. Still put in a refund request though.

update: Steam actually refunded even thought I apparently had 3.5 hrs playtime.

NG+ is not that simple to code into a game, especially regarding certain rules that some games might need when the NG+ run is executed.

@Michael2008ish perhaps if you changed your sentence to 'love for Demon's Souls' then you have your answer: Because the game is great and people will pay to play an updated experience for a GOOD game regardless if it was janky or not. I love DeS Remake and I love the original

If you buy this at anywhere above 30% of full price you are crazy. Game costs nearly double that of what Elden Ring cost on Steam at release. ***** that.

Yeah it runs great on PS5 but it looks like a 2013 game.

Plasma cutter only? well, if the weapon is still as strong as in the original, I don't see the issue.

@Grumblevolcano The minimum specs are (at least graphics wise) nearly on par with PS4 Pro. and that is for 720p so I doubt that the base PS4 would handle anything close to 720p Low settings. And that's not even mentioning the poor CPU on both the PS4 consoles.

@lindos I have a 3080 Ti and there are many games that can't do 4k120... 1440p120 is your most likely bet with most new games with RTX 3080. And that's with DLSS enabled usually

Silent Hill PT for PS5?

Comes out on PC soon, and the price is much better on Steam vs PS Store. Will wait for a Steam sale in any case. Can't justify spending 4x the amount I paid for the remastered version in 2018.

@lindos 4K, 60fps with raytracing? C'mon, even my GPU that cost double the price of the PS5 can't do that in most games.

The combat is so bad in this game that I cannot justify playing it. I could never get into it after trying it for 3 hours.

Ironic this 'free' upgrade is now much more expensive if you don't own the game yet. Ridiculous how they bumped up the price of the base game now.

@WCamicase reading the discs is not the issue. Running the software is apparently too hard for PlayStation to implement.

Couldn't get into the game a few years back when I tried it, twice. Will see if the bug finally bites this time.

@twitchtvpat not how it works. They don't recommend 32 just for the game.
