Update: Sony has now confirmed PS Plus lineup for all tiers of its subscription. That means, as previously reported, Toem (PS5), Need for Speed Heat (PS4), and Granblue Fantasy Versus (PS4) join the list of All PS Plus Games as PS Plus Essential titles on Tuesday, 6th September, 2022.

Furthermore, Sony has also revealed the lineup of PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium games heading to the service next month. You can view them all below, playable from 20th September, 2022.

PS Plus Extra: September 2022

PS Plus Premium: September 2022

There's a lot to get through here, so we'll pick out some of the highlights. Deathloop is arguably the biggest addition. It's a game we described as a "confident" shooter in our Deathloop PS5 review, and we subsequently slapped an 8/10 on it. "Few games have the confidence and swagger of Deathloop," we wrote. "Packed full of charisma and wit, it's a game that can be played your way, with your own style and cunning."

Chicory: A Colorful Tale is also worthy of your attention. In our 9/10 review, we wrote: "An indie adventure with the confidence of heavy hitters like Undertale, Chicory: A Colorful Tale is one hell of a pleasant surprise that excels on every level it is possible to do so. Would it be too hackneyed to say it belongs in an art gallery?"

And while there's a strong chance you may have already played it courtesy of its many re-releases, our 9/10 Rayman Legends PS4 review was glowing: "Unless Nintendo decides to release a Mario or Donkey Kong title on the PS4, it’s going to take something special to unsettle Rayman Legends’ current command of the console’s platforming crown."

Original article: French deals forum Dealabs has, as usual, leaked the lineup of PS5, PS4 games heading to PS Plus Essential in early September. The official announcement out of Sony is scheduled to take place later today, but here is what you should expect ahead of time:

All three titles will join the list of All PS Plus Games on Tuesday, 6th September 2022. We'll update this article once Sony makes the official reveal.

Toem is a PS5 puzzle adventure game all about taking pictures. While it may be a bit too short, we complimented its satisfying photography gameplay and fun puzzle design in our Toem PS5 review. "It's a very simple game that you can easily wrap up over a weekend, but it's a satisfying, imaginative, and endlessly pleasant adventure while it lasts."

Meanwhile, we considered Need for Speed Heat to be the "best NFS for years" when it launched back in 2019, but that accolade still only warranted it a 7/10. Our Need for Speed Heat PS4 review explains: "The day vs. night gameplay is a compelling loop, and it's a big step in the right direction for the series in general. It's a solid effort with fun handling and lots of customisation options. It's a shame the open world lacks personality, and the police are perhaps a little too hardball, but there's still plenty to like."

Finally, Granblue Fantasy Versus is a "superbly crafted fighter" for the anime crowd. Awarded an 8/10, we praised its gameplay, visuals, character roster, and accessibility. "This is a tight, satisfying fighter that gives way to some superbly paced matches, and the dedicated RPG Mode provides additional longevity if you primarily play alone," we said in our Granblue Fantasy Versus PS4 review.
