Preorders for a game without giving out gameplay before release... yikes.

I started with COD2, and absolutely loved LANning it.

Moved on to COD4: MW and since then it's been my favourite of all time. World at War was also very good.
I pretty much stopped caring after Black Ops 2.

I'm starting to worry a bit about FromSoftware's capability to deliver on a smooth console experience. Reason being is that I've already preordered for PS5 but I might have to cancel to rather go the PC route.

@EmperorJake it's a Sony published game, as Lindos rightfully pointed out. Hence the price.

No thanks. Don't enjoy multiplayer games any more except if they're co-op.

Currently playing through Days Gone on the PS5 so that'll keep me busy for some time until I move on to Returnal.

Very interested in the new combat mechanics that they've showcased so far. The spirits should add some variety to an otherwise Souls-esque combat system. Great to see sorceries making a comeback too.

I'm sure there are plenty of people like me: Played all the FromSoft games from Demon's Souls and still can't get enough of the supposed 'rehashed' formula. If it works, it works.

Already preordered the standard edition for PS5. Don't know if the retailer will allow me to change but I'm sure they will

At least you get a disc with this one, unlike the Horizon Forbidden West Regalia edition lol

It's rare that I blindly preorder games, but FromSoft have not disappointed with the last few that I preordered so I've already put my money down for this one.

As much as I would want to go into Elden Ring as blind as possible, don't know how I will be able to resist watching the gameplay before jumping in myself.

Regional pricing and/or Steam being cheaper in general means the PS Store price is 300% that of Steam. I still have Psychonauts 2 on my radar so probably will stick to getting it on PC.

Not Bloodborne, but I'm glad nonetheless.

I finished God of War (2018) first time on PS5 just a couple of months ago, but I wouldn't mind playing on PC at native 4K.

Ghost of Tsushima is an amazing (SONY 1st party) game, but the animations can be janky too in some places.

@ankehuber but the PS5 patch should be free by the sound of things. It's not going to have a PS5 version.

@Dan_ozzzy189 how about just accepting that English is used across the globe and that stylizations (see what I did there) differ and will get mixed to create new ones? Thank god that we don't have 1000-year-olds complaining in these forums about how Old English is not conformed to in articles.

@Ultrasmiles pretty much agree.

I was blown away by the graphics (and gameplay at times) playing on the PC way back in 2007. But the tint in the Crysis nostalgia glasses is not good enough to bring me back.

Looking good for an indie game. I'm glad that mentioned non-linear gameplay.

Hopefully a decent mix of exploration, puzzles and perhaps some combat thrown into the mix.

Luckily I don't care for Tales or SOA.

Even if I did, the DLC would probably feel too tacked-on and pointless to warrant the price.

Got it for free on PC with AMD Ryzen CPU. Might give it a spin when I'm done with Metroid Dread.

But in all honesty, not too chuffed with FC6 being a rehash of the old formula.

And for us gamers, because their recent remakes are superb and they are making an original game next!

Well, just looking at the top 8 it's quite obvious those voters don't know what are good games.

GOW 2018 is decent (I actually played and finished it for the first time last month) but it's not close to even top 10 of all time for me.

@W0rl0ck that's an interesting argument. By virtue of the fact that you pay for a subscription years in advance that makes you better than the rest?

Super disappointed. I was looking for narrative games.

Really not been a stellar few months since I joined the PlayStation family in June with the PS5.

At least I'm incrementally buying and playing each great PS4 exclusive when I can get it for cheap.

Damnit. I'm on vacation most of that time. Will only be able to play the evening of the 8th and then will have to catch up by playing most of the 9th. But my download will probably take up most of the time I'll have access to my PS5 on the 8th.

Waiting on the physical copy, because even though I have a few hundred Steam games, PS5 cases lined up neatly on a bookcase boost my ego

I nearly preordered the digital, but was a bit hesitant since there were no reviews until launch day. And soon after that the physical release was announced, so I'm happy to wait.
