Been playing session since 2019 release on PC (actually, also played the prealpha demo in 2017 too). The physics of the game have really gone backwards so I don't recommend jumping in at this time.
Got it with an AMD Ryzen CPU last year for PC. Was enjoying it in the first 3 - 4 hours until I kept hitting stupid glitches so I uninstalled it. The game felt very unpolished.
@rjejr my Samsung has a Bedtime mode that I schedule for each day, so it mutes everything from late night until next morning. If you go to your contacts you can whitelist people by setting them as Favourties that will still cause their calls and messages to come through.
I mean, once you've done all the mysteries once how does this game keep you interested in it? It's just like The Forest. That game was quite enjoyable for me, but it soon lost its appeal after finishing the story. The survival aspects weren't enjoyable enough on its own.
I mostly play on my 4K60Hz television, but having the option to try out the PS5 on my 1440p 165Hz monitor is a bonus. Sadly doesn't seem like VRR will be supported with 1440p
Got the plat for Demon's Souls and worked on it over the past week... didn't make me feel good in general. So it depends. I would also wager that a lot of gaming generally means your life outside of gaming sucks (or you don't want to improve it otherwise)
I already have Yakuza on Disc, but I almost but THPS so many times when it was on sale so I am glad I'll be able to play with with the PS Plus subscription.
To be fair it is only one small combat encounter in the game so maybe some of the improvements just didn't present themselves in this video. That said if this was meant to convince the skeptics that this game needed to be remade...yeah that definitely hasn't happened.
It looks like TLOU1...slightly prettier sure but still just TLOU1. Thankfully it's out soon so this team can move on to hopefully more exciting projects
Will give this a shot. I enjoy hunting IRL so hopefully this scratches the itch that theHunter: Call of the Wild has left... That game is so damn buggy after 5 years of release.
@banacheck Sure enough, having a wider user base to test the game for you helps out a bit, especially with automated reports such as game crash reports, network issues and such.
But manual reporting of bugs and specific feedback for mechanics is still largely a process that needs internal testers.

I'm pretty excited for this. Loved Super Metroid and this looks like a very rough but true love letter to that game.

This month I'll play the crap out of THPS 1+2 since I've been on the verge of buying it so many times.
