Still need to play Hollow Knight, so will get Silksong whenever i finished Hollow Knight. The release did make me install Hollow Knight again today though, so who knows i might actually start it soon.
@DennisReynolds Theres plenty of ways to see how a game performs nowadays. Im glad the majority of people seems to be a bit smarter and just not support this nonsense anymore.
Weak month for me personally. Stardew you can get for €2 on pc and is 10 years old, so if i would be interested in that i wouldve bought it long ago. Viewfinder not my kind of game. But last couple months i got plenty of worth from my sub.
@Rich33 While i agree its usually wishful thinking, we also dont know how the game runs without the Day 1 patch. The only early impression of the finished product ive seen so far was from someone on Reddit ( a screenshot of what he wrote can be found in the article i linked below ). And while this person says the opening performs bad and looks blurry, he also states the game runs way better a bit further in and also looks pretty good. He evens questions if the opening didnt just bug and admits the game is pretty amazing after the opening. We ll have to wait and see, but if only the opening runs bad then that gives a little hope the Day 1 patch can actually fix it. But like i said in my other comment, i'll just wait and if it doesnt perform well i'll just keep my money. Easy enough.
I'll just wait for the reviews, the latest trailers gameplay looks pretty smooth. A Day 1 patch is just standard stuff nowadays sadly, so media panicking again doesnt mean much to me bc thats also common nowadays sadly.
And if it does happen to be a buggy mess then i'll just keep my money, simple as that.
In the Netherlands NBA 2K Superstar Edition is in the 4th spot, even before the normal edition of FC26, which i find very hard to believe. Theres no way any version of NBA 2K gets pre-ordered more than any version of FC26 here.
@get2sammyb Yes, but Liam did notice the frame drops since he mentions them, but says they are a rarity. They arent rare though, but happen pretty much all the time in the jungle and even worse in underwater areas. And shimmering and artefacting i assume he would notice too. Reading the review gives the impression it barely had issues, at least these issues should be mentioned in the review imo. The review only mentions frame drops in chaotic areas.
How can you write this in the review when the game obviously had issues:
Coupled with its mesmerising visuals is a smooth frame rate on PS5 Pro. The remake targets 60fps, and it maintains that the vast majority of the time. There is the odd occasion where chaotic and action-packed scenes will drop frames, but these are a rarity.
@Balaam_ A real trophy hunter would be happy with a list like this, because you have to put some effort into it and not everyone will get the platinum for this. Easy trophy lists anyone can complete arent impressive at all and it doesnt make it a better game. Writing off a game bc the trophy list is too hard for you is insane.
Its far from a smooth experience on the PS5 Pro and even runs better on the base PS5 performance mode. Theres also more issues than just framerate issues. I suggest reading some other reviews and watching DF's analysis.
Bit weird they went for Omega, doesnt really fit in MH and theres way better options available. Behemoth in Worlds was a better pick. They couldve went with Bahamut, Nidhogg or Shinryu , which all suit MH better.
@darylb24 According to the article E33 isnt in the list because Kepler Interactive doesnt share data with GSD, so who knows if it wouldve made the list or not.
Still, i heard Forza Horizon was selling a lot from MS, and since Oblivion and CoD are in the list ( im aware those sell a lot more copies than Horizon probably, but referring to MS apparently sharing the data ) i expected Horizon to be in the top 20 aswell.
Wasnt interested in the first game until i played it through Plus and it was actually very satisfying to just clean stuff. The sequel will be day 1 for me.
Im not going to make the same mistake as i did with the PS5 and wont be getting a PS6 at launch. The first 3-4 years games will release on PS5 and PS6, so i'll just stick to my PS5 Pro during that period and will decide after those years if i get a PS6 or not at all.
This might simply be because work on Oblivion, MGS and the Cyberpunk patch is mostly done and they let go an amount of ppl they hired for these projects. If that would be the case then its hardly newsworthy, still sucks for the ppl involved and hope they get hired for another studio soon.
The title of the article already spoils who's added for most people. I immediately knew it was Cloud without reading the article at all. The others are a nice surprise, but wouldve guessed they would be from SE titles.
Anyway, good to see the game still gets support with some extra free levels. Hopefully they are also working on a sequel because theres never enough Astro Bot.
@DonkeyFantasy A separate list for a standalone DLC i can understand, but a separate list for 1 NG+ trophy i wouldnt exactly call "just tidy everything up". Thats the opposite imo and would make a mess out of the trophy list. Imagine wanted to look which trophies ur missing and you had to scroll through your trophy list to find every separate mini-list for the same game. So i'll have to disagree.
@Balaam_ Theres plenty of people who enjoy getting some trophies that arent trophy hunters. People who just enjoy playing games and get some trophies as a bonus or even go for the platinum when they really like the game. And then theres people with an unhealthy obsession, who think all trophy lists should cater to them or just skip games because of the trophy list. Thats not caring bout trophies, but being extremely obsessed.
@rjejr You are correct. Its about monopoly vs open market. The article is a bit misleading in my opinion, as thats not what the lawsuit is about like others also already pointed out.
I think the quality of PS Plus Premium is declining year over year. Especially when there are so many great PS1, PS2 and PS3 games they could add. Only reason i got Premium atm is because the price was the same as 1 year of Extra, because of the higher discount for Premium with the recent Days of Play.
This hasnt much to do with the 48 hours early-access, since that ll be midnight today ( 24th of June ) and in most parts of the world it isnt past midnight yet. It has more to do with retailers breaking the street dates and selling the game early ( and review copies but most reviewers wont spoil anything ).
So while i agree early-access with the more expensive editions shouldnt be a thing, it would not solve the problem which already existed before early-access became a thing. Ive got plenty of games up to 1-2 weeks early from retailers since the PS3, there was no paid "early-access" back then.
Do some grinding in Fantasy Life to get more Lifes to max ranking and probably try my luck at soloing another Deep Dungeon in FFXIV after completing HoH solo a year ago. Next week its finally DS2 time.
Maybe next time just wait till things get announced/confirmed. Same with the GoW rumors, which went from remasters of the old games to a smaller new title this year to a metroidvania next year, but all just rumors so far and nothing might happen at all. Media nowadays....
Ive put 60 hours into Fantasy Life so far and nearing the end of the story, so i voted that. Still plenty to do after that though since i havent even mastered 1 Life. Also voted for Clair Obscur, probably my GOTY so far. As 3rd choice i picked Lost Records, but mainly because i havent played most of the remaining games from the list.

Re: 'Things Are Progressing Really Smoothly': Nomura Shares Rare Update on Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Kingdom Hearts 4
Calling that an update is ridiculous. "Things are going smooth, thats all i can say". Hes saying nothing at all.

@DennisReynolds You dont have to parrot others thoughts, like i said theres plenty of ways to see for yourself how a game performs. Welcome to 2025.

Re: You Can Still Claim This Free PS5 Game in PS Store Cock Up
It wouldve been fixed by now if it was a mistake, so maybe the game is just free for PS Plus members until the sale ends.

@pyrrhic_victory Since the platinum trophy description is: Your adventure is over, for now…
