One of my favourite 3DS games, so happy we get this 1 on the PS5. Cant wait to master all lives again.

Pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition, which comes with 48 hours early-access.

PC version has a MetaCritic of 92 and on OpenCritic 90, so i'll try it myself since its included in Plus Extra.

@Coffeeglitch Gaming is a luxury, you arent forced to buy games either. You dont want to go broke on games, but you are ok with robbing others from their income by pirating games apparently. Pretty low standards you got, sir.

6 Extra games is not a lot. Especially when you already own Hogwarts and have no interest in Battlefield and Golf. Lost Records and Blue Prince make it a decent month still.

Premium is still a joke, so many PS1, PS2 , PSP titles and they keep adding just 2 most of the time and often not the most interesting ones either.

Not my type of game, so i'll probably wont be watching. Hope its good for the people who enjoy this kind of game.

@tameshiyaku Cheapest i can find MKW in the Netherlands is €85 and that is with the retailer i mentioned earlier, which also sells the Switch 2 and the Switch 2 MKW bundle for the same price as Nintendo. Other retailers are asking €90 and €500/€550 for the console and console bundle. I hope there will be lower prices, but i'm not that sure of it. Doesnt matter for me anyway, bc i decided to skip the Switch 2. The prices are too high imo, even if they lower the software prices to €70/€75 and the line-up didnt impress me at all. Also stuff like chat behind a paywall, Switch 2 Edition versions physical which just are the Switch 1 games with a code for the patch incl., a paid tutorial demo, games no longer on the cartridge. Stuff like that doesnt make me want to buy a Switch 2, so i'll pass.

@themightyant Mafia indeed, but also Just Cause, True Crime, Crackdown, Yakuza. You could also see Prototype, InFamous, Spiderman as sort of Superhero GTA's. You could even argue it evolved into open-world games, since San Andreas is at least a hybrid between sandbox/open world imo.

GTA should be way higher, probably at no. 1, the whole industry avoids releasing their game against GTA and so far every entry set a new bar. Thats the most influence you can have

I would pay it for a few selective titles like GTA6, but im already doing that now and the amount of games i would buy would only become less than i do now. It would be buying more titles in sale or just wait till they hit PS Plus Extra and not buy them at all.

@tameshiyaku I dont think Switch 2 games will drop to €50-€60 soon, Switch 1 games from Nintendo also dont drop a lot in price, even after years. At least here in the Netherlands.

And Ive never seen a game €90 bc of a greedy retailer either. But we ll see, i just dont see it happening. I can say though that i was interested in getting a Nintendo console for the first time since the GameCube, and after this Direct im not even considering getting a Switch 2 anymore.

@tameshiyaku Amazon is way too expensive then, DS2 is €70 in the Netherlands at a well known online store comparable to Amazon ( BOL.com ). AC Shadows €65, MH Wilds €55 at the same shop. And i never paid €90 for a game yet, also not at the launch of the PS5.

Besides that, Nintendo used to be cheaper than PlayStation/ Xbox games. Mario Kart being €20 more expensive as a big budget title like DS2 is wild. And there probably will be a season pass on top of that.

€470 for the console and €90! for Mario Kart World physical here. Insane asking €90 for a game and not a good sign.

DK game physical €80. And people call Sony greedy lmao. Also voice chat behind a paywall and paying for a showcase demo about the console. I lost all interest in getting a Switch 2 and hope for a nice deal for the Pro with Days of Play instead.

I'll get it when its heavily discounted, €30 for this and on top of that only getting 1 version is a bit too much for me.

Finished my playthrough of the Directors Cut last week, might even go for the platinum. Probably will do a few deliveries each day to get max rank on all facilities, while also working on the premium delivery trophies.

Is it playable 4 the players though

Since i cant upgrade bc of the Plus version and there are plenty of new games i want to buy the coming months, i wont be buying this full price.

Its crazy how media nowadays doesnt do any research or fact checking anymore and just brings anything someone shouts as news and facts.

Wasnt expecting a remaster of the old Trilogy announced out of nothing or shadowdropping today, but still a bit disappointing they havent done a bit more since its such an iconic big PlayStation franchise.

@naruball True, but still crazy when you think about it. Especially when the FF series is almost running for 40 years and got 16 main entries.

So GTA V sold more than the whole FF series. No wonder it didnt meet SE's expectations.

I'll grab The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince for €9 and maybe Tomb Raider I-III Remastered for €15.

Already own Prince of Persia, so nothing for me this month. The essential games were good though, so still a good month.

Sounds like this game wont be releasing anytime soon. Guess we only get 1 new ND game this gen then, or maybe not even this gen.

If the next Xbox really runs Steam , EGS, Xbox games and PC ports of PlayStation games, then it ll make me consider getting 1 for sure. That would mean access to way more games and a lot cheaper, not only because of Steam prices but also with stuff like Humble Bundle and Prime Gaming.

@get2sammyb Thats simply not true. People made a big deal about paying for early-access with other publishers too, especially with story focussed games. LiS Double Exposure is one of them.

@CWill97 Ask the Collectors Edition for ur birthday, 48 hours early access makes it 24th of June.

Amazing trailer! Didnt expect it to release in June already with Lost Soul Aside in May, but wont complain. Day 1 for me 100%.

@Rich33 There are a couple of reviews online already, so embargo isnt after Early-Access.

They still exist...a fun, original and polished game. Some devs should pay attention how its done.

@Toot1st Yes, its THPS 3 and THPS 4. The previous remake had the first 2 games combined.

Theres only no mention of PS4 for the Collectors Edition specifically, Standard/Deluxe he doesnt mention platforms. And since its on Switch i doubt there wont be a PS4 version of the Standard Edition. Would be stupid if they pass on easy money for a digital ps4 version.

July 11 is release, price 49,99 for Normal Edition, 69,99 for Deluxe Edition and 129,99 for Collectors Edition. 3 days Early-Acces for Deluxe and Collectors.

The way this generation is going, im not sure im interested in nextgen and might not get a PS6 within the first years after release.

Expecting performance improvements within a week after release? That ll be months just like DD2. On a positive note, by the time Capcom does improve the performance i can either buy the game for €30 or arent interested in it anymore at all and save even more money.

Next Street Fighter you prolly have to buy every single attack for every character after paying full price for the game. Combos they ll charge you extra.

@Nintendo4Sonic Motorfest is far from crap and certainly good enough to play while waiting a bit for a sale on Horizon

I 'll wait till its on sale for around €30, The Crew Motorfest will do if i want to play an arcade racer.

Im referring to people who actually bought the Pro and said they did so because they no longer had to chose between fps or graphics ( literally what i wrote ) on the countless articles on every gaming site. So people bought a €800 PS5 Pro so they wouldnt have to chose between performance and visuals, but still have to chose between performance and visuals. Im glad i decided to wait for the PS6.

Will wait till they improve the performance and for a discount, same as with DD2 which i still havent bought.

This probably will be a PS6 title, so a bit early to even speculate about it. Still so much that can change.

Hopefully a NieR 3 announcement and Drakengard 1-3 remastered shadow drop. Its been 8 years so hopefully they are already close to releasing NieR 3. But they ll prolly announce some new NieR merch just to make us suffer.

@ChrisDeku It was a discount that you would only get the first 2 weeks after release or something, i dunno if Sony had maximum discounts for that. I just thought it was weird bc Switch and Steam received way higher discounts, so it kinda made the developer look bad towards PS players while there wasnt anything they could do about it.

@naruball No, because you can buy Nintendo and Xbox games digitally in other stores. So why would they sue them?

@ChrisDeku I dont know about the prices of games, but i do know 3rd party isnt always allowed to decide on discounts on the PSN Store. When Mika and the witch's mountain released it had a smaller discount on PS4/5 compared to Switch and Steam, so i asked the developer why it was t the same discount and he said the platform holder decides the discount.

Probably a PS6 game, so will see in 2029.
