We already knew that Monster Hunter Wilds is getting a major patch in the form of Title Update 3 this September, but now it's been confirmed that it'll feature crossover content from Final Fantasy 14 (the Monster Hunter World deja vu is real).
You'll be able to ride chocobos, naturally, and hunt a form of Omega — one of the MMO's raid bosses. Capcom says we'll see more of the collaboration in the coming weeks.
And of course, on the other end of the deal, Final Fantasy 14 is getting content from Wilds. Seikret mounts are an easy sell, and you'll be able to take on Arkveld as a new boss.

Think you'll be diving back into either of these games to try out the crossover stuff? Wonder if you can actually block Omega's beam attacks in the comments section below.
