I think Sony is happy with the new Xbox releasing way before the PS6. They can just sit back and watch what the new Xbox will bring. The gap between Sony and Microsoft is so big this generation, they really dont have to worry about anything.

It looks better and better everytime, but its not my kind of game so i wont be playing it. Hope the ppl waiting on this game will get a lot of pleasure out of it. Meanwhile ill have RE9 and Saros so i know ill be having a blast anyway.

If thats the headline game then it will probably be a weak month. But we had plenty of great months recently, so it was expected to get a weak month soon.

My backlog will easily last me 20 years, so im not worried at all.

I think theres a few reasons that some people arent excited to get a PS6 release soon. It feels as if the PS5 still has a lot in it, also because till recently a lot of games still got a PS4 version. Then theres the prices nowadays, i think a lot of people might worry about how much the new console is going to cost. As mentioned in the article, the difference between generations isnt as huge as it used to be, so people feel like they dont really need an upgrade yet. And like this generation, the first years the games will most likely be crossgen games which means the full potential of the PS6 probably wont be used yet. This is also why i disagree that a new console will push developers, i dont think it will. This generation also has the most buggy games at release and shows developers only get more lazy and rely on patches to fix a lot ( which in some cases takes way too long ). And last but not least, i think Sony has also lost a lot of goodwill with some of their decissions this gen, 1 example being the live service push that didnt go down well for a lot of fans.

@LiamCroft The PS5 version of Hollow Knight is also available amongst the new additions, dont know if that version was on Plus before but if not then maybe worth a mention.

Lets hope they wont waste 15-30 minutes on this, personally would find it very dissapointing if this is the reason why the SoP is over an hour

Like stated in the article, there has been a SoP in february for 5 years now, so anyone couldve predicted this. I predict there will also be a SoP during the Days of Play.

Still regret buying the Oblivion remaster when it released, so not going to make the same mistake again with these.

Its an improvement, but hardly 1 to be proud of. The Switch Lite alone sold almost as many units as all PS5 combined. Sony getting absolutely thrashed by Nintendo in their home country.

I know 1 person who would be happy with this, so the A.I. could get the unobtainable trophies for him and he doesnt have to rage about an uncompleted trophy list on his account.

I wasnt going to get a PS6 at launch anyways, so even better if they postpone the PS6. With next years upgrade for the Pro im good till at least 2030.

@Balaam_ The trophies of E33 have caused some serious trauma it seems.

Yotei would probably be at spot 3 or 4 for me aswell. Would rate E33 and DS2 higher and maybe KC2 would be higher aswell. Havent played KC2 yet, but considering the praise it gets from others i can imagine it ending higher than Yotei if i played it.

@Krlozgod @dskatter I stand corrected. I still think they shouldve worded it differently because plenty of people cant upgrade, and "some" sounds like downplaying it as if only a few are experiencing this issue. On top of that its also taking them ( or Sony, whoever is responsible ) plenty of time and not making the upgrade available for physical owners isnt a good look either, so maybe i wouldnt have an issue with how they worded it if they handled the whole upgrading thing a bit better.

"Some players", i havent read about a single person that was able to upgrade as intended so "All players". Bit late for the statement and also shouldve been fixed by now really ( only took a couple days on Xbox to get it fixed ).

Lego Horizons is a bit lame since everyone with Plus got that on the lowest tier. Rest of the line-up is pretty good though. Happy with Mirage, Wo Long, Granblue and Planet Coaster 2.

Last time i played this was on xbox360 i think, so will be playing and platting the ps5 version after all these years.

From his pov it probably will be Intergalactic, if you will judge by sales nothing will come close to GTA6.

Easily the worst SoP ive ever seen.

Probably means we ll get crossgen games for a few years, which we basically already expected. So i can buy a PS6 a couple years after launch when they finally start releasing real nextgen games.

Unless your digital download comes in the form of a physical Microsoft game. So im doing my part and dont buy those discs.

@Robocod Same for me, seems the november sale isnt properly working. Or those games get added next week, but it would be weird since they normally dont show them in advance. Was hoping for a good price for the MGS collection.

Edit: seems to be working properly in the app, but it doesnt show MGS collection in the sale so maybe they indeed should be added to the sale later.

@rjejr If you like Donkey Kong Country then i can certainly recommend Nikoderiko. Pretty good platformer for a fair price. It also recently got a free update adding more levels.

Theres also a demo available btw, so you can try it before deciding to buy it.

Can also recommend Koa and the five pirates of Mara, also a fun platformer and only €7 atm in the sale.

@rjejr I doubt there will be a "complete" edition since its not really standard DLC packs. They just patched in the extra levels, so everyone gets them when they update the game to the latest version.

Crazy this game got a 9 when it apparently has several issues.

Nothing for me this month, but Ive got plenty i was interested in the past few months.

The only MS game im interested in right now ( South of Midnight ) still hasnt been announced for PS5. And next years Fable and Horizon 6, but those are prolly 2nd half of the year or even later on PS5. Halo is not my kind of game, so dont really care.

Day 1 for me! At first i thought this wasnt a game for me, until i tried it because we got it with PS Plus. Very relaxing to just clean stuff while listening to some music. Also hope they give the DLC pack for 1st game a nice discount, since i still want to play those but find them a bit expensive for what it is.

@PuppetMaster The Soul Reaver 1+2 remaster is also 50% off, making it €15 in the EU. Almost the whole series for a nice price.

Edit : Legacy of Kain: Defiance is also on sale, so thats the whole series actually.

@Kraven Surely you dont mean Balaam, he would never miss out on an amazing game just because of some trophies.

So if TR Anniversary is next month then we get 1 Premium game this month. Thats pretty embarrassing when you have literally thousands of PS1 or PS2 games to choose from. Im glad i paid the same for Premium with the Days of Play discount as i would have paid for Extra with the discount, because Premium certainly not worth it.

@get2sammyb Soul Caliber 3 is also missing in the Blog post, which they did show during the SoP together with Tomb Raider and Tekken 3. So 2 Premium games "missing".

The only positive thing about a PS6 in 2027 is that we finally get a proper Showcase again in 2026/ early 2027.

Not interested in the PS6 though and wont be buying 1 till its a few years old. Im not gonna make the same mistake again and will play the so-called PS6 exclusives on my PS5 Pro.

Its a free update yea, available today on PC. For PS4/PS5 it will be a new game with a new trophy list, but available to download for free for existing owners on Thursday.

I wont be getting a PS6 at release. Will probably wait till the PS6 slim or Pro, those 3 PS6 only games that will release before that i can play whenever i get the PS6. Rest of the games will release on PS5 anyway. I even might not get a PS6 at all, since im very disappointed in current Sony.

This is part of the reason we get games with performance issues, ppl buy them anyway and vote for them to be game of month. Sad times.

Need more info really. Theres almost 350 million people in the US, how many are considered players. 1% of 350 million is still 3,5 million, so what are the actual numbers we are talking about here? And how many would that even be worldwide and not just US? The industry is making a ***** load of money, thats for sure.

Grabbed Tomb Raider I-III Remastered for €6, thats only €2 for each game so cant pass on that.

Was waiting till they patched it for PS5 Pro, but i'll take it when its included in Extra. Worth not buying games with performance issues, since i get them heavily discounted or in Extra.

12 months and they still havent fixed the performance issues, now thats the real horror.

@Dodoo The actual useable storage with the 825gb SSD the launch version came with was 667gb. Think thats why Stephen wrote over 25% loss of storage. The 1TB Slim models had slightly over 1TB storage i think, why you got close to 1TB actual useable storage.

This wouldve been nice as an actual reward ( as in a freebie ) in their new Rewards things. But instead they made the Rewards an exclusive merchandise shop and decided that a ridiculous €40 / €50 for some cards is a decent price. So i'll pass on the merchandise and the cards.

Excellent month, already bought Alan Wake 2 but very nice for the people who havent yet. Cocoon i almost bought in a sale several times, so happy with that. Never played any of the goat simulator games, but they seem like good fun.

Didnt watch the previous trailers and wont be watching this 1 either, but i did pre-order and download it today. I know what to expect and since this game doesnt have any performance issues i'll gladly pre-order/ day 1 it with the money Konami saved me.
