EU is €80 too, so same as others games. They only raised the price in the US after 6 years of paying less, but $80 is still cheaper as €80/£70.

I will stick to my PS5 Pro for the first several years and not make the mistake i made with the PS5. Most titles will release on both the PS5 and PS6 and im fine playing them on the PS5. If the console wont get cheaper a few years after launch, then i will save money on buying the few exclusives that released so far for a cheaper price. Or i might even wait for the PS6 Pro.

@playstation1995 Never heard of Sword of the Vagrant, so i looked it up and it does look a lot like a Vanillaware game. And its only €2 at the moment since its on sale, so i grabbed it. Thanks for mentioning the game and have a great weekend!

€79,99 like every other big title for the past 5-6 years. And every person complaining about games costing €80 and not buying games for that price will buy it too.

Maybe Sony can trade Bungie for a couple of the studio's. Then Bungie can make a live-service Halo game and Ninja Theory, Double Fine and Compulsion Games maybe Heavenly Sword 2, Psychonauts 3 and South of Midnight 2.

Extra is nice again, its usually worth it. Premium is just not worth it if they give 1 game each month while theres so many games they could add. Ur better off getting a year of Extra during a sales and then upgrade to Premium the last 1-2 months to play the classics they added over a year if ur interested in those. Unless you need Premium for the other perks ( which should be free really ) they smartly put behind the paywall.

The return of Xbox...

Feels more like the downfall of Xbox: Asha's Saga. Smart move to make 2 games exclusive but still put them in Gamepass, that will make them more money. And with no new console on the market yet and the current unavailable in many regions, whats exactly the plan behind all of this.

Nice month, saves me spending money on Sonic and i always wanted to try KCD but dunno if the game was for me, so now i can try and buy the Royal Edition if i like it.

@ShogunRok you have Rayman Legends Retold listed under October but with 1st of Semptember as date, which should be 1st of October obviously.

They better remove it from GamePass like they did with CoD, if they want any sales and wont put it on PS5.

I dont think Xbox will have many exclusives if their next console sells the same or worse as the current-gen. Whats the point of making the games exclusive again when the sales are pretty weak. So unless their project Helix will be a massive succes i dont see much change.

Pretty weak show and was expecting a little bit more. Wolverine looked good but that was expected. Im not sold on the new GoW though and im looking more forward to the remake of the Greek trilogy. Lets hope SGF is better

Hoping for Kena 2 release date to be announced. Wolverine will be day 1 bc i trust Insomniac to deliver so i hope they dont show too much. The Rayman remasters, with Origins shadowdropping, would be nice. And GTA pre-orders going live with the announcement of a GTA themed dualsense and / or plates would be a nice surprise, but i doubt we will see anything GTA related.

Since the header is Fable PS5 delayed, i assume it isnt delayed on Xbox. Oh wait....

Really weak month if ur not into multiplayer games, lets hope the remaining Extra/Premium games are decent.

Very easy solution to this is to subscribe during Days of Play or Black Friday sale. My sub runs out 4th of June and i will get a new year right away for 33% off as i did the past 3 years and will be doing next year.

Already bought it on PS3 and PS4, so ill pass this time. Would be nice if they let ppl also upgrade for free on PS5, but not too bothered with it. Got the Darksiders 2 free upgrade but havent played it again, so doubt i would play this again anyway.

@BeyondKnight You can also team-up with someone who has the Casey DLC ( just join an online game with someone playing him ) to get the trophies, so theres a workaround.

Already installed and ready to go. Returnal was incredible and im sure Saros will be even better.

@The_Elder Thats sadly what PushSquare has become. Like the article earlier today about the Playerbase program where 90% of the PS5 fans were against it, while it was just 89% of the 1000 votes they got on their poll. If you take the 92.2M shipped PS5's then its 0,001% of the installed base. But apparently that means 90% of the PS5 fans have the same opinion as the 900 readers from this site who voted against it. Its also always the same person with these kind of articles.

@rjejr Its $40 / €40 and you get the Weaver Editon for that price, which basicly is the deluxe edition on Xbox including the game, the artbook, the soundtrack, a comic, a documentary and a music video ( all digital ofc ). A very reasonable priced game imo, it was $50/€50 on Xbox for the deluxe i believe.

I bought it as it is 1 of the few games from Microsoft im actually interested in, so downloading it now.

I probably would buy it if that would be the price, but unless the launch line-up is really good i will be waiting a few years and stick to my Pro. So i voted no for now, but not because of the price. I dont see the PS6 become a €1000 console though , bc that would be €350 more than the normal disc-version PS5. I think it will cost €800 max which still would be a lot ofc, but making the standard console even more expensive as the Pro would cost them too many customers imo.

I think Sony is happy with the new Xbox releasing way before the PS6. They can just sit back and watch what the new Xbox will bring. The gap between Sony and Microsoft is so big this generation, they really dont have to worry about anything.

It looks better and better everytime, but its not my kind of game so i wont be playing it. Hope the ppl waiting on this game will get a lot of pleasure out of it. Meanwhile ill have RE9 and Saros so i know ill be having a blast anyway.

If thats the headline game then it will probably be a weak month. But we had plenty of great months recently, so it was expected to get a weak month soon.

My backlog will easily last me 20 years, so im not worried at all.

I think theres a few reasons that some people arent excited to get a PS6 release soon. It feels as if the PS5 still has a lot in it, also because till recently a lot of games still got a PS4 version. Then theres the prices nowadays, i think a lot of people might worry about how much the new console is going to cost. As mentioned in the article, the difference between generations isnt as huge as it used to be, so people feel like they dont really need an upgrade yet. And like this generation, the first years the games will most likely be crossgen games which means the full potential of the PS6 probably wont be used yet. This is also why i disagree that a new console will push developers, i dont think it will. This generation also has the most buggy games at release and shows developers only get more lazy and rely on patches to fix a lot ( which in some cases takes way too long ). And last but not least, i think Sony has also lost a lot of goodwill with some of their decissions this gen, 1 example being the live service push that didnt go down well for a lot of fans.

@LiamCroft The PS5 version of Hollow Knight is also available amongst the new additions, dont know if that version was on Plus before but if not then maybe worth a mention.

Lets hope they wont waste 15-30 minutes on this, personally would find it very dissapointing if this is the reason why the SoP is over an hour

Like stated in the article, there has been a SoP in february for 5 years now, so anyone couldve predicted this. I predict there will also be a SoP during the Days of Play.

Still regret buying the Oblivion remaster when it released, so not going to make the same mistake again with these.

Its an improvement, but hardly 1 to be proud of. The Switch Lite alone sold almost as many units as all PS5 combined. Sony getting absolutely thrashed by Nintendo in their home country.

I know 1 person who would be happy with this, so the A.I. could get the unobtainable trophies for him and he doesnt have to rage about an uncompleted trophy list on his account.

I wasnt going to get a PS6 at launch anyways, so even better if they postpone the PS6. With next years upgrade for the Pro im good till at least 2030.

@Balaam_ The trophies of E33 have caused some serious trauma it seems.

Yotei would probably be at spot 3 or 4 for me aswell. Would rate E33 and DS2 higher and maybe KC2 would be higher aswell. Havent played KC2 yet, but considering the praise it gets from others i can imagine it ending higher than Yotei if i played it.

@Krlozgod @dskatter I stand corrected. I still think they shouldve worded it differently because plenty of people cant upgrade, and "some" sounds like downplaying it as if only a few are experiencing this issue. On top of that its also taking them ( or Sony, whoever is responsible ) plenty of time and not making the upgrade available for physical owners isnt a good look either, so maybe i wouldnt have an issue with how they worded it if they handled the whole upgrading thing a bit better.

"Some players", i havent read about a single person that was able to upgrade as intended so "All players". Bit late for the statement and also shouldve been fixed by now really ( only took a couple days on Xbox to get it fixed ).

Lego Horizons is a bit lame since everyone with Plus got that on the lowest tier. Rest of the line-up is pretty good though. Happy with Mirage, Wo Long, Granblue and Planet Coaster 2.

Last time i played this was on xbox360 i think, so will be playing and platting the ps5 version after all these years.

From his pov it probably will be Intergalactic, if you will judge by sales nothing will come close to GTA6.
