Complaining about the cost of something is like complaining about where the sun rises. It a achives nothing.
It all comes down to how you value something.
The original switch is some 7 years old so if you got one day one and are still using it today then that's like £43 per year.
I'm sure 99% of people monaing about the cost of the new switch waste £43 a year on trash like sweets alcohol fags.

If you can or want it buy it. If you don't want it or can't buy it, do something else.

to be fair, the reception to the pricing of the pro has been negative and polls show majority or people are not buying it so it is kinda shocking that people are flooding to get one now

the will be a large number of people who just want a portal or dual sense. they really should've spread them all out better

@Korgon??? There's no business without consumers. We buy these games time and time again. So Sony makes them time and time again. Its a simple never ending cycle. For every hater there's a consumer swilling to splash the cash.

Loving the game! Managed to finish it under 25 years old and seen the secret ending by sparing all the bosses. Just can't seem to no death it though. Practise practise practise!

My glass Is half full. To play the game for a Yr until the next one comes will only cost me £70 on playstation and £96 - £180 on gamepass. Don't be fooled people all is not what it seems

I salute Sony for this. I want them to keep moving forward. I stopped playing ps3 when ps4 came out and got my ps5 day one and moved on from ps4. Still gotta get through some back catalogue of ps4 games but if the ps5 had more compelling games I'd have left the ps4 stuff alone too.

Been digital since PS3. I don't think I even own any physical media at all. Stream or download. This is the way.

Finished it a couple of months ago. Was OK nothing special. PS5 will sort out those load times.and playstation sent me an email congratulating me for finishing it

@get2sammyb but the fact is your brought it! For me all they had to do was announce it and I was buying it day one. Think of it as a movie with trailers. U don't want your experience spoilt by seeing too much in trailers. Just think when u get it'll you'll have loads to write about as no one will have reported on those listed features yet. I think this is great move from Microsoft! PS5 will be more and that's OK with me. I'm getting the all digital one on day one if it's available. This reminds me of a kids console at this price and with gamepass it's amazing value. It's just a shame I'm all about them Sony exclusives. God of war 2 anyone??? BOY!

Been all digital since PS3 so the digital edition is the one for me. It looks cleaner too without the drive tacked onto the side. I applaud Sony for doing it straight out the gate.

I'm struggling to understand the negative press you along with kinda funny ign etc are giving Sony right now. It was for devs and anyone remotely interested in what Sony has in store for us. Games consoles are more Than just games and a bit of appreciation for what work these people put into delivery your entertainment wouldn't go a miss. The talk was exactly as advertised and mark said there will be plenty of times for games later before he even began. As you all say numbers don't lie and 12m people clearly don't share you're games games games view. Stop bashing and show appreciation. Hope everyone is staying safe during these difficult times.

I wouldn't buy a 4k TV to watch VHS on. Ps5 needs games only for ps5. Simples.

I was always under the impression that Sony only refer to it as PS when they revise it and the first version is always Playstation? Ie Playstation 4 then ps 4 slim.

Games like 5 yrs old. If u didn't invest by now that's your business.

For me I don't see how this is still such a big problem to people. If u only subscribe for the free games then chancdes are over the course of your subscription you will have had value for your money over that period regards of months like this.
If you subscribe because u want to play online multiple then a free game is a free game. Something u wouldn't play under normal conditions.
So for me people should stop moaning about what they can't control or vote woth your wallets and stop paying.

While in Italy for a tekken tag ttournament on Ps2 the spanish guys wanted to know where I'm from. When I said Nottingham they linked it to Robin Hood and as I was always in sunglasses they nick named me The Dark Sheriff of Nottingham. It's stuck and when ps3 launched I tried to register TDS but someone took it. As a fan of the matrix I added neo as I believed I was the one n only Tru TDS and thus NEOTDS was born. I'll never change my name.

Got my Psn day of release of ps3. Love it still no need to change it. NEOTDS rules the world 😂
