This weekend I will be finishing Spiders-men 2 and starting The House at Fata Morgana (PC) I've had a hankering for a new (to me) Visual Novel.

I'll also be exploring FFXIVs Occult Crescent and maybe even dropping into FFXI because the recent free login period has me wanting to continue levelling Dancer and trying to finish up the Voracious Resurgence stuff.

Lumina loadouts would be wonderful and Photo mode's arrival would be when I double dip and pick it up on PC.

Also discovered that some of the music is not safe to listen to on the bus because it breaks me...

Back to the backlog I go after 100%ing Clair Obscur starting with Spiders-men 2! Really enjoying it so far and its just want I need after Expedition 33 wrung me out emotionally.

@nessisonett we joke, but I would legitimately love a Cassy Drake game that's more of a puzzle exploration adventure. Throw in that adorable... Labrador? maybe a Golden Retriever? and it'd be the best game on't PS6

I am still in recovery from Platinum-ing Clair Obscur Expedition 33... Been keeping my fingers busy with a lil Balatro and I have Spiders-men 2 installed and ready to go when I feel a bit less emotionaly vulnerable.

Expedition 33 is my GoTY so far this year.

I've still to play Doom Eternal, not sure how it got away from me but man it has been a stacked few years.

I wish someone would develop one of these high production value games and release it as a normal priced game, have all the base characters be acquirable through in-game quests, maybe release new characters as mini-expansions with their own questline. I'll likely play this at launch, do the 1.0 storyline and then add it to my never ending pile of games to eventually gatch up on.

I want to believe we'll see a proper trailer this year!

@get2sammyb I was thinking the same, R1999 is another game I need to catch up with.

This looks gorgeous and I'll probably mainline the initial story but who knows after that... I fell off both Honkers and Genshin because I kept saying I'd wait until they added missing voice lines on the patches I was up to.

I'm also putting off the finale of Clair Obscur by exploring all the optional areas, this game has ben a treat... a harrowing, gut wrenching treat! It is going to take some doing to top the impact this game has had.

The funny thing is it is still one-shotting most bosses

My hype level is at 'I'll get it when its free on the epic games store if they try and up the cost of games'

We continue... Clair Obscur - Expedition 33... I imagine there are a lot of us currently elbow deep in Ink and craving a really good crunchy baguette.

12 hours into Clair Obscur | Expedition 33 and oh lord is this game good. The combat is tight, the music is excellent, the writing and acting is top notch and the story is both heavy AND Whimsical!

Today vanished in a blur most Obscur! Everything about this game is wonderful. Congrats to Sandfall on 500k sold on day one!

@lazarus11 Been a bit overwhelmed with my backlog recently and got in a bit of a funk with choice paralysis. Think this being brand spanking new AND being one of my most anticipated might just get me back on track.

@DETfaninATL I dated a seamstress for a few years, she made herself a fitted lycra bodysuit as the base for a cosplay she was making, it is the closest I have seen to the body hugging suits in games like this... She eventually scrapped the idea though because of underboob chafing.

Blue Prince is delighting and infuriating in equal measure! The escalating math problems in the Billiards Room are going to have me ripping my mop out!

I'm still in the process of putting a new PC together specifically because MHWilds ran like absolute dogger on my old rig. I've been hesitant with prices bouncing around and the newer hardware seeming a bit wonky.

I have sunk an astronomical amount of time into Astroneer on PC and I reckon I'll do the same in this! Absolutely delightful!

And the trend of never buying games on release or new continues.

Mid August is what my gut says. I don't know why but that is what my fish n' chips filled gut whispers to me.

I shall finally be properly sinking my teeth into Dragon's Dogma 2. I will also be doing some mogtome farming on FFXIV to pick up a few mounts I'm missing before the new patch drops on Tuesday.

[Edit - I'm kinda coming to the conclusion that whilst I am really liking DD2, I'm also not really in the right headspace to see it through, so I think a change of plans is in order, a few smaller games from the month of PS+ Extra I have! Anno Mutationem caught my eye so we'll see how that unfolds!]

I've started Dragon's Dogma 2, but my hearts just not in it this weekend so I might try and get caught up with Invincible or I might grab a month of Apple TV for Severance and Silo and just do a weekend of binge watching if I can find the focus.

I'm mopping up trophies in Stellar Blade, spent a large chunk of my evening just doing fishing and finding all the photo locations.

@HRdepartment no.1 thing to have a look at is your gears item level, if you've had a build that was working for a good long while it's possible to coast through on skill alone until you hit a certain disparity between ilvl on what you wear and what the mobs are dropping.

@ChrisDeku I'm with you on the Monster Hunter style of game set in the Horizonverse, could even have it set when Humans first started coming out of the creches to explain why its all new and no one is as efficient as Aloy is at taking down the robodinos

An update... I'm 6hrs in to MH Wilds and I think I'm going to shelve it for now, the performance on PC is getting wonkier the further I go.

Looks like it'll be PC upgrading time after all!

I got the Dragon Age Veilguard Platinum last night after an epic replay of the whole franchise. I loved it without reservation and I am so incredibly mad at the way the internet has treated it.

I am about to boot up Monster Hunter Wilds and see how the release version runs on my PC, so fingers crossed!

@Rich33 no difficulty choices in Monster Hunter, it's a one size fits all dealio... You can make things easier (or harder) for yourself through prep and weapon choice and doing things in co-op. MH rewards patience and observation above anything else.

Il be playing on PC, mainly because I don't need PS+ for multiplayer on PC and I LOVE doing hunts with randoms in MH!

I may be upgrading the PC earlier than originally planned depending on how well I can get it running

I've said this elsewhere but pretty much every review I've seen has been from people already familiar with the last couple games at least and that coupled with streamlined systems makes the game seem easier than it is.

My 'realistic' wish is for ReIncarnation to get a complete PC port.

My not so realistic wish is new Drakengard/NieR that somehow re-smashes both worlds together again and makes me cry so hard I become a desiccated husk.
