Clair Obscur Updates

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 may be a frontrunner for Game of the Year, but the near universal praise isn't stopping its developer from working on potential improvements.

Sandfall Interactive has taken to social media in order to tease the studio's current trajectory. As you may already know, the RPG has been a hit beyond the team's expectations, and it sounds like the developer has been keen to reassess its plans for support.

A couple of fairly big updates have already dropped since the title's launch back in April, but Sandfall is now "actively assessing" continued enhancements.

"We're currently exploring a wide range of future improvements," the studios writes. More specifically, it's looking at "accessibility features", "new content" and "all sorts of bits and bobs".

The mention of accessibility features is particularly interesting, given that the game's most recent update rebalanced the easier 'Story Mode' difficulty to make it even more manageable. We're thinking along the lines of additional visual cues in combat and the like — options that could further broaden the title's appeal without detracting from its gameplay mechanics.

Of course, "new content" also grabs the eye. Sandfall has previously mentioned the possibility of DLC, but nothing's been officially confirmed yet.
