The Atelier franchise waits for no one, so if you’ve not even had the time to start Atelier Yumia yet, then you better get a move on: Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian is launching on the PS5 later this year, on 26th September.
There are a few caveats we should get out of the way before we continue this article: there is a PS4 version, but it’ll only be available in Japan. In addition, while the Resleriana sub-series has played host to gacha games in the past, this is a traditional single player RPG and not a live service mobile game.

So, what is there to know? Well, there are two protagonists: Rias and Slade. The former looks like a VTuber, and will presumably be very popular in Japan.
Unlike Yumia, this is a turn-based title, but the loop of the game remains similar: you’ll explore, battle, and craft over the course of the game. A new shop management system has been added, however, allowing you to earn money and rebuild your town.
Returning characters Sophie, Totori, Wilbell, and Raze will appear from past instalments, and the combat system will enable you to launch team-up attacks with them.
Pre-orders are open now, and if you purchase the title within its first two weeks of release, you’ll receive an Early Purchase Bonus for free. This includes a couple of costumes for Rias and Slade, as well as two charms which boost EXP and SP accumulation respectively.
Where does this rank on your wishlist? Are you ready for more Atelier so soon after Yumia’s release? Cook up a response in the comments section below.

WHAT???? A new Atelier already? And turn-based? I'm in.
Returning characters but no Ryza or Klaudia? da heck
I guess they’re not worried about over saturation of the series 😂
thats great but September? cmon! I preordered so many games that coming out that month! Still awesome!
@Damage99 I was surprised, too.
I would love to get more into this series but the whole crafting alchemy thing kinda puts me off.

Glad to see another turn-based one! I'm becoming a fan of this series.
Didn't one of these literally just release? lol
I swear to god, the efficiency of Nihon Falcom and Gust would make chinese sweatshops blush in shame.

Totally into turn-based Atelier.
I enjoyed Rorona but then I realised that there’s 5 million entries in the series and they get progressively hornier.
I literally started atelier yumia today and im having such a great time i love the open world and combat and now this for September Jesus between august and September we are eating good i mean gourmet time meals
After finishing Yumia and her new combat mechanic, new synthesis that's more akin to dancing, and an alchemist that finally strong enough to be put on the front line, everything about this looks like a lot of step back and cash grab. Probably the first Atelier series that won't be a day 1 for me.
Atelier Yumia was good, but this definitely looks a lot better.
Now this looks like a real Atelier game, not a new game with some Atelier elements. Though I hope mobile roots won't be showing themselves much.
When the heck did Yumia release? I didn't think she had landed in our laps yet!
