9 PS Plus Extra, Premium Games for June 2025 Announced

Woeful. Barrel scraping hitting new depths by the month at the minute.

Fewer games being offered, more and more online titles, the majority of which are or soon will be dead, More games that have already been on ps+, more games that are broken with unobtainable platinum. Feels like almost deliberate sabotage at this point.

Oooh Eiyuden Chronicle! It's been on my wishlist for a while now.

I feel like there's always been at least one addition every month that's been on my wishlist. That's a win in my book. Good stuff!

Never played the PS2 version of Deus Ex. Isn't it meant to be crap? Another awful month for Premium sucke- erm, I mean, subscribers!

This is a solid list of games. I wish some people would understand that just because some of the games may not suit their tastes doesn’t mean it’s a bad month of offerings. There are some great games on this list regardless of it appeals to you or not.

The only game I care for is Eiyuden Chronicles which I already bought.

Bad month for me, very mediocre month overall.

BF was already given as a monthly game. The hunter game looks good. Will try it after I finished Roadcraft. I love fps and Remedy but firebreak looks pretty meh!

Another crap month. I genuinely think it's better value for money to subscribe monthly nowadays.
Dip in when there's a game I want to play then back out again when there's not.
I won't be subscribing annually ever again.

Eiyuden it's a pretty good -if flawed- turn based RPG.
Very old school, kinda like the first Suikoden.
I'll warn you though, you'll need a freaking guide to recruit everyone and even then, it's a headache.

Finally letting my subscription lapse at the end of the month. Glad to see nothing drawing me back.

Some decent looking games there for me mainly Eiyuden Chronicle and FBC Firebreak which is a brand new game.

Another £10 I’ve flushed down the toilet.

This is not a good port of Deus Ex.
But.
Its not a bad port either.
Play the PC version if you can, but the console version is a reasonable substitute.

Dropping to extra when I subscription ends. Premium continues to be a joke.

@MickOnYourFace The PS2 version is all I knew as a teen and I loved it. I actually like that the levels are smaller in scale as the pc version has big open spaces with not a lot in them.

I only paid £5 more in the sale for 12 months of premium so that £5 extra for the whole year alone is worth it for Deus Ex 😁 but only one classic game for the month is inexcusable.

@captainsandman I like the Katamari games but hadn't bought this one yet, I have the last one. Had one of them on ps2 back in the day, had a lovely instruction manual!

These are terrible. Maybe it's because I have GPU but these are terrible, might just be my taste but to me this feels like a joke. It isn't broken right? That top tier (I actually pay for ) has one game? And it's a PS2 game? I don't play anything PS3 or earlier, hell I don't like it when I play PS4 games.
If you're happy, more power to you, i'm not, i'm going to drop a tier. I'm not angry but even as a guy that just lets my subs tick away, you only need a couple of games a year to justify the price, Extra doesn't even justify that anymore. Maybe a shadow drop? /shrug something needs to happen in my opinion.

Deus Ex is a great addition. I'll try out FBC Firebreak too because, well Remedy.

Battlefield 20 FU2 is the main reason I’ll never buy a Battlefield game again until it’s been out for and while and had MANY patches to make it actually playable.

On the other hand, I’m very much looking forward to playing FBC Firebreak on day 1. Really nice bonus for this month IMHO.

I could be tempted by Train Sim 5, tend to dip into those every so often.

I’m just about to drop from Premium to Extra. Might have to see which games in my backlog I really couldn’t play without Extra as it’s not looking brilliant value at the moment for me.

Interested to try Firebreak as a solo player; Deus Ex is pretty exciting! I've never had a chance to play the original

Wasn't Twisted Metal 3 and 4 along with Resident evil 2 and 3 Supposed to be on this List as well.

This was looking dire until the second half - Katamari id love to revisit, original was glorious, madcap Japanese fun. Eiyuden has been on my wishlist for ages, and Endless Dungeon has me intrigued. Train Sim might get a look in, depending how wild I’m feeling

Thank god I cancelled my sub even for the basic tier, got a new laptop and got 3 months Xbox Gamepass Ultimate with it. If it's as good as they say it is I'll be subbing to that for my PC instead

@MickOnYourFace ....it wasn't a bad port at the time but I imagine it's aged like a year old curry now. Even currently on PC it's almost unplayable without mods

Deus Ex is god tier in my opinion. Sure, the PC version is better overall, but the PS2 version has a few QoL-type refinements to make it a little more accessible to play with a controller, and is still undeniably amazing. Deus Ex is the immersive sim. Highly recommended for fans of games like Dishonored, Prey 2017, Bioshock, Thief, etc.

Played Hundred Heroes, it's worth checking out if you want an RPG to get stuck into.

Katamari is the big draw for me.

Just one classic pretty much proves the Days of Play “bonuses” were simply taken from monthly updates then. What a farce.

Sometimes just one PS2 game each month is a bit sad tbh.

May go with the basic subscription or not even bother at all. As I have an issue with Sony and their tightness over cloud saves for others using my own console when they log in, basically no cloud saves for them.

FBC and Katamari are definite yes, and FNAF is a maybe. Decent month for the post-E3 / SGF doldrums.

if there is a game you really want to play , at the end of the day just buy it.

Only reason I got Premium was becuase it was only £5 extra in the sale but boy has that sucked most of the time.
Eiyuden and Katamari interest me at least plus I'm playing GTA so I at least got my monthy fee's worth.

Well I'm going to be playing endless dungeon and firebrick and I'm going to try that katamari game as that looks interesting and could be a good laugh. Not a bad month for me personally.

Glad I get to try Train Sim before purchasing physically, I am keen to get into one but never enough to drop a few quid on it! Katamari and The Hunter might also get a try but maybe not.

Dont sleep on Katamari guys. I k ow it looms weird and the crontrols are weird. But please give it a try. I promise it's absurdly charming hilarious and a large does of japanaese crazyness. Games like these aren't made anymore these days.

@Fritz167 yeah lately it's been pretty bad as well, but at least it gets more the a couple games a month unlike plus where they've been giving us one a month lately.

@theSpectre Nope, i'm used to Extra being bad now, last game I played was Dave the Diver o.O .Good game, plan on going back but it's an indication of how useless the service is to me atm. I can't remember what I played before. The only way to judge something like Extra is to put it alongside its competition and no, no matter the general opinion on this site, that isn't the Switch 2
