Finished Alan Wake II + DLC, fantastic gam, but now I am in need of MOAR Remedyverse stuff and Control 2 is probably a ways off...

Now to continue my replay of all the Dragon Age games!

We can hope for a Fallout scenario but prepare for a Far Cry situation.

I won't write this off until I at least see a trailer, Personally I hope they go for a prequel, maybe even go for discovering the Relay and the brief war with the Turians...

@get2sammyb I only needed one thing out of the beta and that was to gauge how well it ran on my PC, I'd prefer just straight up playing on PS5 but the PS+ requirement keeps MH firmly on PC. It worked well enough but yeah after how clean Rise was the grunginess of Wilds was a bit... meh... But I do wonder if its just something that needs getting used to.

Currently playing AW2 and loving it, picked it up on the EGS for dirt cheap with all the DLC and it has successfully scratched the spooky itch.

The way it folds in the FBC just makes me even hungrier for Control 2, I do also wonder if the Max Payne games will be folded into the Remedyverse with the remakes.

Just forced myself to uninstall MH Wilds beta because if I don't do it whilst I'm fairly lucid I'll end up losing the whole weekend to hunting the same three monsters... Sooooo I'll be on Alan Wake'2 butt until I finish it probably!

If there wasn't a smorgasbord of third party games already piling up in my backlog I'd be concerned that there are so many studios we have zero idea about what they're working on... but as it is I'm happy for them to beaver away and hopefully not announce more GaaS future flops.

Alan Wake 2, 10hrs in and I love it, it's spooky in a way only Remedy can manage.

I have also been playing more Honkai Star Rail cleaning up old side content and finishing the latest msq.

Exactly what I've been wanting, need to see how it runs on my PC before deciding what platform I'm going with... Hopefully PC as I don't have PS+ and enjoy doing hunts with randoms.

I just picked up Alan Wake 2 on the EGS for under £28 including all the DLC so I plan on melting my PC and pissing my pants over the weekend

I trust IOI... but I swear if I see Bond dabbing I am going to riot!

I am really looking forward to seeing what their Bond is like.

@roe add on top of that the price increase of gaming AND cost of living crisis and a lot of people are being more selective with what they buy at launch.

I'll need to see some actual live gameplay because my main issue during the MMO versions beta was how amateurish the presentation was for the narrative. The gameplay was okay erring on the fun side.

Awaiting the Re-elected Edition in a year to eighteen months, been burned by the re-release happy Atlus too many times.

@PuppetMaster I blame SF2 Chun-li for the part of my taste in women that centres around them being able to toss me around like a ragdoll.

I'm quite enjoying this over on PC... But I just wish these Korean/Chinese MMOs would hire someone to naturalise their localisations, there is such a stiff ever so slightly off quality that is unmistakable and you know it is because to VO direction was forced to stick to the badly translated script. There is room for the story to shine but it never gets to in these MMOs.

If this game ever reaches market it is going to be fascinating to dissect with how grim development has been... The World of Darkness truly is a cursed IP.

@get2sammyb that and resources saved developing for a single sku... soon to be two sku's but the difference isn't so large as that between X and S.

The Series S has been such an arse ache for this generation.

With the pace I'm replaying the first three Dragon Age games Veilguard will probably hit its first sale before I pick it up... I had planned on getting it day one but bad time management on my part means I'll probably be just getting Hawke settled in Kirkwall by the time Rook and chums come stumbling through the gate.

I need to fiddle around with this Megalights addition, I have a few portfolio environments that would shine with this working in them.

I don't mind the film being Jin centric because it started a long time ago... but yeah for the games let Atsu shine.

If they do feel compelled to do more Jin I hope they do it as a really dense novel to piss off the nuggets that are whining, but also for me because I'm never truly happy unless the book I'm reading doubles as a bludgeoning weapon.

@Chupa_loyzer probably because the Inquisitor could romance Solas if they were an Elf and apart from being heartbreaking the relationship featured a lot important info about the elves past and their so-called Gods

@Wiceheid they have a weird blind spot for every single company they already gave their info to.

It is such a strange thing to get hung up over because you can almost guarantee they gave the same info to places like Reddit, twitter... godsdamned 4chan!... as well any number of subscription services and yet they balk at a process that takes a few minutes.

Yes some countries don't support PSN, just log in with details that smudge the truth about your location and if you can't do that then you probably having bigger fish to fry.

Jusant was fantastic, but most probably played it on gamepass and Banishers came out at a really busy period for me

I have really clouded memories of the original Marathon trilogy, but i do remember it being mostly single player with a story. I was so excited when the reveal came for this new Marathon and then that excitement was slapped out of my hands and stomped on.

It sounds like it'll be really pretty but also extremely shallow like all extraction shooters.

But yeah, there has to be more than 'You won't let us be our own corporate entity? Fine we all quit!' My money is on an unfair amount of revenue flowing back to the Big Suits at homebase rather than paying/incentivising the people who actually pulled in the revenue.

My partner and I only saw it because we have Unlimited Cards (£10.99 a month for as many Cineworld screenings as we can stuff in our eyes) and it was horrendous, badly written, mis-cast, unfinished cgi... even the Immaculate Cait Blanchet came up stinking in it.

I've been really looking forward to this for ages. With this and Hollowbody my indie needs shall be sated!
