Wrestling Battle Royale Rumbleverse Has Been Delayed Indefinitely on PS5, PS4

The trailer felt like a game specifically designed to elicit a combination of irritation and boredom.

I hate this game and I've never even played it. The trailer seemed custom made to make me want to smack it in it's big stupid face. I'm glad it's gone.

Just make a fun arcade wrestling game. Clearly the WWE can't create one with their license. No wrestling fan wanted a wrestling BR game. No BR fan wanted one with wrestling.

While BR titles saturate the market, the arcade multiplayer market is pretty barren. Why not fill a niche instead of showing up to a trend super late?

@MFTWrecks The AEW game looks a lot more like No Mercy and the old wrestling games. Could be fun especially with their growing roster.

Retro mania and fire pro wrestling is enough wrestling for me. Maybe room for a proper no mercy sequel/spiritual successor.

Iron Galaxy (quite frankly) sucks, so I don't expect anything of quality from this.

The next EA Sports PGA Tour was also delayed indefinitely, but that wasn't covered

@MFTWrecks and changing the look of the game would help tremendously too . why purchase and upgrade new gaming hardware if they’re just gonna keep cutting corners with this lazy cartoony crap

I played it when there was a beta a while back. It was horrible. I hated the combat which was sloppy and confusing. Even when a large group of players came together it was a slow cumbersome mess. The map needs to be much smaller, speed needs to be increased and something other than wrestling combat. Pretty much everything needs to be better.

Hopefully if it comes back it has a different art style.

Wow, lotta salt in these comments. Some people need to chill. I managed to get into the beta last time and this was brilliant fun, way more than I was expecting. Interested to see what they do with the extra time, but really I don’t understand how people can be so offended and outraged by a game they’ve never played and don’t ever have to play. There’s plenty of games out there I don’t like but I don’t think calling a team of peoples hard work “trash” is ever appropriate. Eh, rant over. Best of luck to the devs and will probably check the game out again when it’s ready.

Showing that CGI trailer first was a dumb move, Iron Galaxy could do something great but f*** off with these trailers, they do nothing but over-sell the game.
