@KaijuKaiser I would say it is more reflective of their confidence in how the game will sell rather than the quality of the game. definitely understand the skepticism though

@Artois2 in this case you are certainly the minority. it has a 5/10 on steam, terrible reviews from critics, and a 1.1 userscore on metacritic. where is this unspoken majority you speak of hiding?

Torn between a 7 and an 8 right now, won't rate until I finish it. The highest of highs but also really horrible lows. Some terrible terrible animation even in some of the main story NPC cutscenes and awful fetch quest design. But when its back to the highs the scale is unmatched in those epic battle sequences. One of the most oddly inconsistent games I've ever played

@tomassi Stray was definitely not on essential. Idk about Avengers but you're better off without that one away

Had a very good time with this game, as solid of a 7/10 as there can be. I can see waiting for a sale if you don't have that kind of cash to throw around but it was a good experience and well worth it imo. Fun platinum too if you want more bang for your buck!

Some people in the comments seem to not understand how RPGs work and particularly their opening hours! But glad to see the overwhelming majority showing love and support, the game is excellent so far.

I guess people thought this was going to be back to back AAA first party exclusives for 2 hours straight. I was not blown away but I liked a lot of what I saw and was left overall satisfied with the experience. Not to beat a dead horse but look at the shape Xbox is in right now, let's not go crazy here

Wow. Really impressive trailer. The first game was kind of a stinker but it looks like they've made the gameplay a lot smoother and more fluid

Humanity and Thymesia are the ones I will be downloading to check out. Have played or don't care about most of the others. I may try Legion if I can stomach another Ubi game but I have heard pretty bad things

I enjoyed these kind of gameplay segments in Nier Automata but I can't really imagine playing an entire game centered around mech combat. I am a huge From fan but I don't think this is for me at all

@tallythwack if you've beaten the game you will get a call on the focus in-game to go to a known location, and from there you will start the DLC

I am only about an hour in but really loving it so far, and damn is it gorgeous. Awesome next gen experience for a low entry fee

I am having an amazing time with this game. Its clicking with me more than any other RE game I've played. I am usually not a huge fan of the inventory management or the combat but for some reason this one finds the sweet spot for everything. Beautiful visuals as well and smooth performance in my experience

I am probably way more excited than I should be for this given the unprecedented development hell the game has been through but everything they've shown looks really awesome. I love the art style and the gameplay looks really satisfying. Day 1 pending reviews of course

EDIT: I just read this on the EA website: we’ve heard community feedback surrounding the fps of the game on console. As a result, we’re examining the ability to add it into the game in the future.

Hopefully that's a good sign of a performance mode coming sooner rather than later

@commentlife it seems to have gotten a bad rap from players over the last few years but I really enjoyed it as well

This game is a fun and unique experience for anyone that hasn't tried it. Nothing groundbreaking but its something different and its a lot of fun. Great atmosphere and environmental visuals as well and the DualSense support is maybe the best I've ever seen

Uncharted lost legacy is such a great addition I cannot wait to play Uncharted 4 on PS5!!

This game looks really good. I am trying to hold off on buying it at launch though. I was annoyed paying full price for Tekken 7 at launch with the limited amount of content it offered and I don't want to make that mistake again

I got the platinum on Friday night and I will say the collecting everything to complete all collections was a bit tough by the end but it felt very rewarding once it was over. Starting the game over 3 times is annoying given the tedious nature of learning the same spells over and over then running back and forth between the same places but as stated earlier it only takes about 2 hours for each house

Give us a PS5 version please!!!!

Super stoked to see Legacy of Thieves! Can't wait to play Uncharted 4 on next gen hardware. Ghostwire Tokyo is an awesome and underrated game for anyone that has not played it

@Loamy Glad to hear that, I will certainly be giving it a fair shake but am not willing to spend full price given the wildly different accounts of how it plays and feels. The world looks fantastic though and that alone guarantees I will be playing it eventually

@dark_knightmare2 I've heard it from a lot of different reviewers that I trust and also from people playing the game. I am glad you are enjoying it though I look forward to trying it out sometime in the future

The combat/gameplay seems to be lacking from what I have heard in terms of weight and feel which is pretty much the number one criteria for enjoyment for me in a game like this. I am definitely going to play it at some point but likely once it drops below 25 bucks on a deep sale
