Like a dragon was excellent and got me into turn based combat. Cannot wait to play this

This game has so many issues that really should not have been there but it was amazing at times. My main complaint outside of the terrible side quests and some of the PS2 level animation is it was just so unbelievably easy. Even playing FF mode for the platinum I think I died like 3 times the entire playthrough, and I am by no means great at video games

This looks like it should cost 10 bucks

This looks awesome and capitalizes on all of my nostalgia. Tekken 4 was one of the first games I owned on PS2, amazing game. That being said I just cannot justify spending 70 bucks on a fighting game. I don't play online and wouldn't really play locally with anyone so I don't think its worth it for just the campaign and the odd time I would throw it on for a round or two. The last full price fighting game I got was Tekken 7 and while I had fun with it it is still one of my most regrettable purchases based on the value I got out of it

looks cool but noticeably janky and the frame rate yikes. not a good sign when its this bad in a trailer

@Fiendish-Beaver it was a blast! nothing groundbreaking but just pure zombie bashing fun

Honorable mentions BG3 and FF16 but I ranked based on enjoyment rather than pure quality

Basically the same games that have been on sale in every other recent PS store sale for the same discount. Pretty lame

@Hundred_Hand_Slap I figured it might be discounted at some of the retailers like Target or Walmart but I guess we'll see. You are probably right though its very early

Any chance Spidey 2 goes on sale this early? I have not grabbed it yet and would love to get it for maybe 50 bucks

I really liked Tales of Arise but it already felt soooo long I don't think I would ever go back for an additional time sink

I just did not love BG3 as much as everyone else especially in terms of story or gameplay/combat. It was a really good game but not as legendary as I expected. Cleary in the very deep minority but my top contenders are RE4 remake and Hogwarts Legacy

Man it is wild how much the quality of monthly games has dropped since they announced the price increase. Makes no sense

@Sil_Am a review of a game is about the experience itself, it has nothing to do with physical media. taking points away for something external to the gaming experience makes absolutely no sense

@gipsojo @Constable_What this is not meant as an insult to either of you but why would you complete two full playthroughs of a game you hated?

@Constable_What I definitely agree with this as a negative, although it does not ruin the game for me or make me hate it, it can definitely be frustrating. I am having a lot of fun with it but admittedly have not played as much as you so hopefully the fun continues

@KundaliniRising333 playing now and having a great time, honestly the biggest frame drops I've seen are in cutscenes rather than gameplay. some of them were pretty bad but again not impacting the actual gameplay experience much at all. I am loving the game just took down the first major boss and it was way harder than I expected based on reviews. Took me a bunch of tries and felt great to overcome the challenge. Edit: the quality mode has bad performance but most people want 60fps for a game like this anyway I would assume-visuals still look great in performance

Looks awesome to me I'm getting it. Negatives are nothing too disappointing or serious imo

@J2theEzzo @Powerplay94 I definitely have this complaint about many souls type games but it doesn't really seem to be the case to me with this one, the "floatiness" looks more applicable to the dodging and running but there actually looks like a decent weight and impact in the combat/hits to me. maybe I am missing something though

I definitely want a PS5 version but it should be free as it the changes will be extremely minimal. I know Part 1 took a lot of heat but it was at least a pretty extensive remake (in my opinion). There is no way the distinction will be even close to that here

I am excited for it, somewhere in between the first and second choice. I will get it day one if Lords of the Fallen does not review particularly well, but man that games looks excellent and will take precedence if I see some 8-9/10s

I'm hearing amazing things about this game, I probably won't get it for a while but I am keeping it in mind once things slow down a bit

Ah man I just beat Callisto last month. Oh well. It’s a decent enough game worth a playthrough if you don’t have much else to play right now

Really excited about the change in location for 8, that is going to be just the right change to keep things interesting. I love Ichi and am so glad he is back, and love the new combat so this is day one no matter what! So tough though because Persona 3 is just a few days later and FF7R about a month later. What a start to the year

Very close to a 10 for sure. I am between a 9 and 10 at the moment just because the story has not totally wowed me, and I feel the created character suffers from not having much of a personality. I still have a long way to go though so I may be strongly one way or another by the time I finish. Edit: definitely some weird bugs for me too but that will not have much baring on my score, they are not enough to detract much from the experience

I feel like they did not do enough to promote this game, I remember seeing the initial trailer at an event (maybe SOP?) and then nothing for a very long time, where I did not even know it was coming out until I looked on the store and saw it was already released. I can't speak to the quality but it does look like a somewhat unique take on an FPS so I feel a lot of it came down to a failure in marketing

Awesome! Loved the demo. Will likely wait for a sale though as I will be tied up with BG3 for the foreseeable future

For those saying it only has 9 reviews, it is worth noting it has a 96 on PC with 94 reviews

@Kidfunkadelic83 I've never really played a game like this but I am doing okay with it, it is not quite as complicated as I initially thought. Really enjoying it

The only reason I was considering this was because it was coming around halloween sooo...yeah

So excited to dive in at midnight! Off tomorrow for it too I am going to play until my eyes burn and then keep going

@Moonvalley_PS so high and mighty. People in this community love PlayStation and want to play PlayStation games. I would play Mario with my kids if I have children but I’ll stick to adult gaming for now

I wasn’t too upset about this initially but the more I think about it I don’t think I will use the service enough to get my moneys worth. I like having it but I don’t really play online and the monthly updates are so hit and miss I don’t think it would be worth it in the long run. This is a big price increase so I don’t think I’ll renew even for essential. Can always go back if I really miss it

I'm actually kind of interested in finally checking out whatever mess of game Saint's Row turned out to be so no, I am happy enough with this

I think I will skip this one, I am playing Ishin right now and will probably get into Lost Judgment eventually since its on plus, that will be enough Yakuza for me until 8 comes out
