@RoomWithaMoose @AhmadSumadi I checked out the footage to see if there was anything that would change my mind and make me more curious to check it out, it did the opposite and I shared my opinion. I am happy for anyone who is excited though and I hope it delivers on whatever they hope to get out of it
@TruestoryYep a minority take to say there was not much original about the game? I honestly can't think of one thing it did that was not borrowing from other games in the genre. I didn't hate it by any means I actually enjoyed quite a lot about it but idk how that could be a rare opinion
My opinion on this game has soured over time, it was fun and interesting at times but there is not much original about it. And BOY did it fall off a cliff at the end, the final fight was abysmal
I am down for this, idk how people are saying the graphics hold up the game looks like what it always was, a PS2 game. If it gets an overhaul to look like P3 reload I would happily buy again
@Loamy I believe you have to complete almost all side quests including specific ones but I have not dug too deep into it either! There is also one for not eating any meat or killing any animals so my run was actually likely ruined far earlier
@Cornpop76 I have to say although it is undoubtedly niche I don't want people to get the wrong idea that you will be spending half the game sharpening swords and smithing, a lot of this stuff is avoidable if you want it to be save from a few main quest segments that make you engage in them. I don't mind doing them at all though and they aren't a detriment by any means but they can be passed over for the majority of the game
@Colour I am highly considering the plat too but I missed a quest before one of the points of no return so I would have to do the 90 percent side quests on playthrough 2 after already doing a ton of them which is a huge bummer. The Lent run seems very daunting as well but its such a great game I might just be down for it
@Kraven hmmm yeah I am not sure, I fought him right after getting Mutt and did not have any sort of special armor to my recollection, did not know that was a requirement
I'm not done but man it rocks so far. It is close to Witcher level in terms of exploration, story and side quests. So hard to put down when life gets in the way
For anyone that is skeptical the game is dense but you really can brute force your way through if you don't want to be bothered with too much complexity, at least from my understanding. Just started this morning and having a great time so far
I'm not normally one to complain about articles but I'm so over news stories about people's speculation about this game. Nothing against PS but man it is getting old I just don't want to hear about GTA until it is out at this point lol. But yet here I am clicking and commenting on the article so
I love the challenge of From games but the older I get the more I just want to continue progressing through games so I am really happy to see options like this
@3Above I did not buy this but have a feeling it would go the same way for me. As much as I miss the old Budokai games I don't even play online or have anyone that would play locally with me so I would really just be doing the story and random matches against the CPU and I think I would tire of it quickly. I will snag it down the road if it drops to like 15 bucks though
No chance. It sets a terrible precedent for middling games like COD and Assassins Creed to start charging the same and in my view it will lead to a major decrease in sales. I think it would be a huge mistake and I really hope we aren’t headed in this direction
@nessisonett sorry maybe I’m missing something, what are you referring to? I just see a red image with white text that says GameStop and a couple of social media posts that were copied
@DennisReynolds it is so weird how the price fluctuates I am in the US and got it for 8 dollars just a month or two ago and it is 16 USD now according to this. either way I agree though that game was way more fun than I expected I got so many good hours out of it
@Balaam_ Black Mid Wukong is a hilarious name for it hahaha I did like Wukong but it has plenty of problems and definitely did not do anything groundbreaking
@HappyGamerGirl I would put P3 Reload just a notch below P5. It is a great game with great characters and the design is very similar. The only thing lacking in P3 is the dungeon variety compared to P5. You do not see the same kind of diverse palaces to explore but everything else is on a similar level
@Judal27 I would say the demo is pretty reflective of the overall experience, the story does pick up a lot and gets more interesting and it is fun to evolve the archetypes but it still kind of just feels like something is missing the whole time as others have eluded to. it is a good game that is worth playing but I liked and did not love it throughout the entire playthrough
I liked this game but it pales in comparison for me to any of the Personas I have played along with SMT V which I just started but am already finding much more enthralling. I did love some of the characters (especially Heismay and Basilio) but overall I did not find the story, combat or world to be all that engaging. I appreciate what they were trying to do and am glad Atlus wanted to try something much different but it lacked the impact and fun factor I find in their other games and many other games I played this year
One of my most satisfying platinums, the dungeon grinding was brutal but I loved the combat, that characters, the story and the world. Excellent game and definitely top 3 for me, just below Rebirth and just above Astro
I actually agree Infinite Wealth had one of the best stories of the year. I voted for Persona 3 only because I’d never played the original so it was an excellent experience. It’s so funny how upset people are getting about these arbitrary rankings though new vitriol with every article

@Casco make sure you go and learn the master strike if you are having a tough time, it makes combat a lot more forgiving
