@nessisonett sorry maybe I’m missing something, what are you referring to? I just see a red image with white text that says GameStop and a couple of social media posts that were copied
@DennisReynolds it is so weird how the price fluctuates I am in the US and got it for 8 dollars just a month or two ago and it is 16 USD now according to this. either way I agree though that game was way more fun than I expected I got so many good hours out of it
@Balaam_ Black Mid Wukong is a hilarious name for it hahaha I did like Wukong but it has plenty of problems and definitely did not do anything groundbreaking
@HappyGamerGirl I would put P3 Reload just a notch below P5. It is a great game with great characters and the design is very similar. The only thing lacking in P3 is the dungeon variety compared to P5. You do not see the same kind of diverse palaces to explore but everything else is on a similar level
@Judal27 I would say the demo is pretty reflective of the overall experience, the story does pick up a lot and gets more interesting and it is fun to evolve the archetypes but it still kind of just feels like something is missing the whole time as others have eluded to. it is a good game that is worth playing but I liked and did not love it throughout the entire playthrough
I liked this game but it pales in comparison for me to any of the Personas I have played along with SMT V which I just started but am already finding much more enthralling. I did love some of the characters (especially Heismay and Basilio) but overall I did not find the story, combat or world to be all that engaging. I appreciate what they were trying to do and am glad Atlus wanted to try something much different but it lacked the impact and fun factor I find in their other games and many other games I played this year
One of my most satisfying platinums, the dungeon grinding was brutal but I loved the combat, that characters, the story and the world. Excellent game and definitely top 3 for me, just below Rebirth and just above Astro
I actually agree Infinite Wealth had one of the best stories of the year. I voted for Persona 3 only because I’d never played the original so it was an excellent experience. It’s so funny how upset people are getting about these arbitrary rankings though new vitriol with every article
@Tomato_Goose it definitely seems like a cool piece of tech to me it is just a bit too niche and too much of a commitment to get me interested. I respect it though. I played Resi 7 at my neighbors in VR back in college and it was an incredible experience
I guess I am in the minority but I played LAD and IF in English, I just don't like subtitles it breaks my immersion tremendously. I am not a massive fan of the series though admittedly until the recent releases
This article is about a change in voice actress and the comments are still devolving into this same exhausting discussion again it’s getting so annoying to not be able to just talk about games and constantly hear people’s “hot takes” or political opinions on one side or the other
1. Rebirth 2. LAD Infinite Wealth 3. Astrobot (although I still haven't finished it) 4. Metaphor 5. Black Myth Wukong Honorable mention to Persona 3 Reload and Thank Goodness You're Here
The irony of this series that forces beliefs down people's throats being tied to Nazism is too rich. Outside of that these games have been terrrrrrible from the beginning and I feel bad for the individuals losing their jobs but if we never see another one of these games the ecosystem will be better for it
Massive Sacred Symbols fan! they brought me to this website many years ago. I am not super into these games but I always buy them just to support Colin and Co
@Cloud39472 I agree, the game is extremely impressive but the companion AI is often busted, some of the quests are extremely vague and difficult to figure out, and I did not find the combat all that engaging despite its complexity. I guess the last two points are subjective but it was by no means a perfect game in my opinion
agree with others saying Infinite Wealth was snubbed, that was an awesome experience. I would still give it to Rebirth though with Metaphor being a close second. Wukong was very good but has a lot of frustrating elements that brought down the score for me
this seems obvious but it has to be a good game with an interesting concept for me. it has nothing to do with the price tag, it just needs to be interesting and well made. i am not interested in any of the games mentioned here only because their concepts and gameplay do not look appealing to me
solid score! I won't be getting it for a little while until I'm done with Metaphor but I am happy it isn't the trainwreck some were anticipating. looking forward to trying it out eventually
I really started to get hooked toward the end of the demo so I can't wait to get going with the full game. I am ready for another Persona like experience to take over my life for a few months as the weather gets colder. Great review, thanks so much Robert!

Re: Poll: What Are Your Gaming Plans for the Holidays?
@DazzaUK1985 just finished it myself. Really fun game! I was tempted by the platinum but it seems awfully annoying

Re: Elden Ring: Nightreign Explained in Huge IGN Report
This is a cool idea but not really something for me. Probably the first From game I will be skipping in a long time
Re: The Witcher 4 Announced Starring Ciri
What an incredible trailer. Hype is through the roof but I’m sure the wait will be long and painful
