a game that has multiple endings having an additional ending now is somehow a spoiler. cannot believe how sensitive some people are to this stuff it is wild to me
brutal timing on this one since it looks like the concept is so similar to Astro Bot and obviously it will be very hard to measure up on the gameplay front
i'll snag it for 10 bucks on sale if i have nothing to play but my interest does not go any deeper than that. ubisoft is just so boring at this point i am more worried about budgeting my time than my money with them
@LifeGirl there are plenty of larger games that don't get discounts for quite some time. so if I really care about playing something and I think it falls into that category I am getting it right away. Black Myth Wukong for example. selling very well, unlikely to get a discount for at least 4 months I'd say, and I have time to play it now so I am enjoying it and getting my money's worth instead of biding my time
I have noticed this occasionally and thought something was wrong with my controller. it is not ideal but not a massive detriment most of the time. would be nice if they can fix it though
@Zemo55 wow that was fast! was it a fun plat? it seems a little intimidating but i am loving the game so much i might go for it. still pretty early to say though
@DennisReynolds I am yet to get past the boss I think you're describing but it seems more an issue of not understanding his moves yet. I think it is a hard game but I agree not like From. really enjoying it so far its impressive
@Neither_scene OP's post was in relation to the PS5 version as was this whole discussion. I know nothing about the PC version but nothing like what you described is happening on PS. and it sounded like he did want absolute perfection
@CrashBandicoat it is far harder to optimize a massive game with tons of demands compared to streaming a digital video file so yes the comparison is hilarious. The issues in this game sound very minor so to demand absolute perfection out of a project so ambitious is ridiculous and I doubt you find satisfaction in almost any game if that’s how you approach it. Anyway have a good one
So glad to read from many playing that the doom and gloom was blown way out of proportion and the PS5 performance issues are more comparable to FF7 Rebirth or Elden Ring than Cyberpunk. This is what happens when people think they know everything and always assume the worst. Can’t wait to start playing today
@riceNpea pretty sure the screen shake is foundational to the presentation they're using it to obscure the action to make it look "better" and i really don't think it will be optional
PSA there’s a short clip posted to IGN Chinas YouTube channel of the game running on PS5 and it looks smooth. It’s a small sample though so it obviously doesn’t fully resolve the concerns but maybe a bit encouraging
@KillerBoy I think it looks pretty solid. at worst it will be a somewhat generic rpg but the gameplay looks fun enough and there's enough interest and budget in it that i doubt it will bomb
Returnal is so cool i just wish i was even remotely decent at it. i put a lot of time into it and made very minimal progress i just could not keep starting over it was brutal
@ear_wig @Kiefer-Sutherland recommend this as a very solid 7/10 experience. it is a fun old school PS2 kind of game with not a ton of originality but it makes up for it with good gameplay. if it is on a decent discount go for it
@TheArt ah man I feel like I do understand is the thing but the gameplay just does not feel good to me. they clearly put a ton into them and I respect it tremendously but it just does not click it is so damn slow. anyway I am sure on a slow day I will boot it up again but the future looks bleak for me and this series haha
@Colour my feelings exactly. the movement in combat is miserable and the length of the fights make the games so unenjoyable for me. I have wanted to love them and have tried to get into the series for years but I bounce off every time because the mechanics are anti-fun and I cannot see it any other way
I loved this game back in the day but its kindddd of hard to play now real janky and the controls are rough. Still a lot of fun though if you've never played it
I've never played this series, the combat in the demo was solid though. I just felt confused and overwhelmed with all of the characters and story elements, it seems a high barrier to entry for someone not familiar with the games and I don't think I'll be playing it any time soon
wow I didn't realize how many people disliked this game. I thought it was pretty fun although admittedly I'm not a massive Borderlands fan but I had a really good time with it
@PuppetMaster in English saying “I’m sure” is just a figure of speech indicating you think something is likely. He also said he was sure there was opportunity meaning chances to have MTX so nowhere did he say they were definitely in the game. Anyway hope it’s a good game I will move on now

Re: PS5, PC Disaster Concord Is Now Officially Offline Indefinitely
@danzoEX the idea of having to download a patch to see the game taken down is such a hilarious concept
Re: Enjoy 22 Minutes of Developer-Led Dragon Age: The Veilguard Gameplay
@KillerBoy did you not watch the video or have you never seen fortnite because they look not even slightly similar

@Sergo grabbing it for sure I almost got it at release but getting a discount already I am all over it
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Black Myth: Wukong?
@Kiefer-Sutherland no chance in hell they’ve played it with that assessment
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Black Myth: Wukong?
@Enuo well said. it is so nice to have a similar game that is way less stressful and taxing
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Black Myth: Wukong?
its a 9 so far. excellent game having such a great time with it. can't rate until I finish but I am deep into chapter 3 and I love this game
Re: Round Up: Star Wars Outlaws PS5 Reviews Are Hit and Miss
@puddinggirl and you don't even get a lightsaber!
Re: Black Myth: Wukong (PS5) - A Spectacularly Creative Action Romp
@DennisReynolds feeling like a 9 for me so far but I am not far enough to rate. I love it though and am rarely bothered by any of the faults
Re: Black Myth: Wukong Is Eating Your Inputs on PS5, and It's a Problem with Performance Mode
@DonJorginho there are a lot of boss fights and they are definitely the main attraction but there is still plenty going on outside of it

Re: Poll: Are You Playing Black Myth: Wukong?
@Frmknst its 60 bucks and lots of people buy digital games. most people don't care get with the times. its a great game and you get what you pay for
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Black Myth: Wukong?
this game rules. absolute banger
Re: Hands On: Black Myth: Wukong PS5 Performance Isn't Perfect, But It's Perfectly Fine

Re: Black Myth: Wukong Is Blowing Up Big Time on PS5, PC
@CrashBandicoat dude the game is selling gangbusters you aren’t hammering anything. also comparing a 50 hour game to a malfunctioning dvd is hilarious

Re: PS5 Open World Crimson Desert Gets 7 Minutes of Raw Gameplay, and It Looks Ridiculous
@Victor_Meldrew this looks more like DD2 or even something like Horizon. no idea how you are getting souls like from it

Re: Dragon Age: The Veilguard Release Date Dropping Tomorrow, BioWare Promises Loads of Gameplay Details
@KillerBoy if you want to simplify it to minor similarities in character design then yeah. Otherwise not at all

Re: Mini Review: Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse Remastered (PS4) - Another Adventure Game Win
@WizzNL you might be exaggerating but it’s probably one remaster for every 10 new games if not even less so this narrative is getting really overblown

@PuppetMaster I think they are just speculating based on Capcom's history
