Beating a dead horse at this point. It was DOA. Wasting more money on a lost cause mostly because of ego. You failed, move on and make games people want. How can developers still not understand basic consumerism.
Horizon sent out that survey today. Seems strange so fast after that terrible trailer. Highguard never had a chance. Horizon has no chance either. Sony will never learn until they fire Herman. People are losing their jobs because they aren't allowed to make the games people want to buy and play. Brain dead management is mandating these garbage games. I hope they find work with a real studio that wants to make great games.
What's sad is the developer attitude. They truly believed they created something great. Even if this shadow dropped like they planned, it would be terrible. It's already dead. Time to dig the grave.
This is coming from a guy that's now using AI to do the job of living creative people instead of doing it the right way. I guess he's worried about hurting the feelings of the computers too. He is just another egomaniac who is actively removing the soul of creativity.
I played this for around 2 hours today. It's just bad. It''s generic and doesn't do anything very well. It's basically just a lazy game made by a developer that isn't good enough to make a real game. I gave it a chance but it deserves the negative reviews not just because of the game award fiasco. People are tired of these garbage copycats. It's time to create new things like they did in the past. The classics are classics because they only cared about making a good game. No agendas or metrics.
It doesn't matter at this point. It will get destroyed on launch. People are tired of games like this and the only way to fight back is to kill it. It looked generic and lazy. It got more attention from the game awards then it ever would normally. Maybe developers should try making a good game and stop being lazy and following trends.
I guess they skipped 8th grade economics class. You can't make money if you don't release products. At least that moron son of Yves is in charge to guarantee further failure.
Looks like a cheap cosplayer but a cosplayer would act better than her anyways. Another disaster incoming but this could make the absolutely terrible movies look better but that's like saying this pile of garbage stinks less than the other one.
Any other developer would have been shut down years ago but Bioware still around. They have failed miserably since the end of Mass Effect 3. They have no future and I actually hope we don't get another ME. I don't want to see it ruined completely. DA fate was bad enough
If they have to make a machine create for them then they deserve to go under. I have no sympathy for all these studios shutting down due to bad decisions. Swen is an arrogant idiot and always has been.
I think the real reason they refused to bring it to PC was to avoid Steam reviews destroying this garbage. The line about not wanting mods was just a lie. I'm pretty sure modders would do a better job at sexy than the developer anyways.
You mean generic action guy that they called Bond. This looks awful and in no way feels like James Bond. I guess they never watched the movies over the decades or read the books.
Sven has always been a loudmouth. The chip on his shoulder grew with Balurs Gate 3 and now he thinks he is untouchable. It makes all his comments about the industry pointless since he is just as bad. If you need AI to generate for you then you aren't smart enough to make games. I own every game they made but I guess I will save some money since I won't support them anymore.
They should just cancel it now and save themselves the time in blaming everyone else for it's failure, then apologizing and then vowing to make it better before shutting it down. Oh, the inevitable studio closure after too.
3rd person or who cares. They know that's the one thing people have been asking for from the beginning. Just too lazy to do it and make the dumb excuse about first person being needed due to the vertical nature of the game. What a bunch of garbage.
It's like watching a slow death that everyone else sees coming but Sony refuses to accept. The faster live service games fail the faster money starts going to good games again.
I have zero confidence in Bioware. I honestly don't think they have the talent to make a good game anymore. They just keep failing and EA is just waiting to end it. The only chance is if EA starts selling off IP's.
Refuse to support them since they are in bed with Epic. I will never buy a game that is locked to Epic pc even if it's on the consoles. At least Steam doesn't care where you release your game and I don't care that Epic gave them money. Console exclusivity is always bad and Tim brought it to PC.
Everyone knew this was going to happen. They should have spent the money on a full remake of the first one since it's so well liked. It would have sold and then they could work on a proper sequel since the hype would be there.
Was finally going to buy another Battlefield after so long of skipping it. Just canceled my preorder. As for Mass Effect, it was going to be garbage anyway. If you still want something like it, Exodus and The Expanse are too games that scream old Bioware.
Forget about any female protagonist after this debacle. Ubisoft is in the same situation. Their overlords will dictate. It's bad enough Yves had to give his failure of a son a job that oversees their big IP and believes in short games, higher prices and using AI. EA is just going to be gutted.
It's the right decision but in the end they will get the money some other way. I got an email about the blood points thing they did years ago that vanished. It said I was getting the expansion pass free since I had blood points. I completely forgot about that site so this was a nice surprise.

Re: PS5's Retro God of War Game Gets the Worst Reviews in the Series
This looks like a mobile game that they just called God of War to help it sell. It's just a terrible game overall.

Every time I tell people what an idiot Swen is they argue like he is some hero. As time goes on he shows it more and more.

Re: Prince of Persia Series Isn't Dead Yet Despite Remake Cancellation
Of course it's not dead. Right now AI bots are working hard on a series of short, monetized and cheap mobile games. It will revive the whole industry.
I really wish this was only a joke but it's too true.

Re: Square Enix Ain't Going to Revisit Parasite Eve on PS5, But This Chinese Dev Sure as Hell Is

This is generic spy action game they called Bond to help it sell. Nothing about this says 007. It's like Tom Cruise made a game.
