A way for Sony to block letting the games come to PC for a long time. Considering how scumbag Sony is now I hope it fails. Amazing how greedy Sony is but they still won't remake Bloodborne which is an automatic pile of cash.

As usual, people don't understand. It's not about the budget, it's about the developer. What we need is real developers making good games. That means not worrying about pandering to mouthy idiots or executives. The budget of the game does not determine how good it is or isn't. Making an ignorant and broad assumption that the problem is too much money is causing a failure is as dumb as saying a small budget game will be amazing.

I love how people actually thought Geoff was a good guy. He has alwasy been a leech just trying to make money and a name for himself on the backs of others. If the developers had any class they would remove themselves from the awards. I wonder who he'll kick off stage this year during a speech. I'm sure Kojima will be there for no reason and get plenty of spotlight.

They're just another cancer in the gaming industry. Hopefully they will be gone soon. The whole industry needs a serious pruning to get to basics and just making good games without interference from idiots.

It's all about who gave Geoff the biggest bag of cash. Or if his vastly, overrated friend Kojima wants something.

They love making terrible Tomb Raider movies. When will they learn they don't work. Put the money into good games instead.

All that's happening is their original plans are being shown. Based on everything so far, it was clear this would have been a mess if it launched on time. The controversy about Yasuke was only the beginning. It accidentally exposed several other bad decisions.

There is no chance this show will be good. Look what happened to Halo. It's like they hated it so much they intentionally made it insulting. Mass Effect is just being abused at this point. It's bad enough the new game will be a fail, but now this. Just let it die already.

If you can't see exaclty why that game failed, then you shouldn't be allowed to make a game. The amount of red flags was obvious from space.

Nintendo has ALWAYS been a scumbag company. People give them a pass for no reason. Between their gimmicks and making the same games over and over, nobody should be really defending them.

Release it on Steam like it should have been and make money. Sticking with idiot Tim Sweeney and Epic is just bad business. That guy is more worried about his little ego than anything else.

It's the same situation Ubisoft is in with Assassin's Creed Shadows. They delayed it to change things and the first DLC being included means it was already started. They scrapped any other plans at this point. The game will come out and it will be abandoned as fast as they can. This is what happens when you care less about making a good game and are more worried about a checklist.

Translation: DLC was planned but the shear hatred of the game means they are dropping it and running away. EA NEVER misses a chance to nickel and dime. Mass Effect is in so much trouble at this point that the amount of emergency meetings and panic is comical.

Bioware is a dead husk at this point. The only attention they get is negative and EA is just waiting to put the nail in the coffin.

All the delay does is give the haters more time to sharpen their spears. Gamers never forget or forgive. Outlaws is not nearly as bad as people say but it will be better after a few big updates.

I wonder if any of the mouthy developers will have anything to say on Twitter this time. Hopefully they learned their lesson but I doubt it.

Keep failing Sony. It makes for great reading.

Charming PS3 aesthetic = dated graphics. People really need to stop making excuses for bad elements with carefully chosen descriptors. It's poorly made and the only reason it gets any attention is because of Helldivers 2.

This won't save the game. People are already in line with pitch forks and torches after they kill Dragon Age. This is how bad gaming is now. The delay was because the model of release now and patch later is failing. The DLC plans have been mostly scrapped. The first DLC was well underway and is why they are giving it away for free now. The second DLC was probably only in planning stage and it's canceled. This will be a a one and done release with them abandoning it as soon as possible. The fallout from this will be epic though.

The reason older games did so much better was they weren't made by a checklist. Just let creators work and stay out of the way. Nothing like being directed by a greedy suit. If the greedy want money then let developers make good games. The more they interfere, the less money.

Developers needs to stand their ground against pathetic whiners. They need to stop catering to these tantrums. Balancing a game is tricky and it takes time. Maybe if they were any good at the game they would just adapt.

This game is cursed. It would be better to just not release it. They can write it off financially as a loss. Movies have done that several times. It ends up costing them less than releasing them. It strange but when it comes to finances and taxes, there are very creative ways to save money.

If they do release it, I am curious if you can play through the entire game as the same character and if any trophies are tied to a specific character.

I love how Capcom thought this game is so important that people will buy PS Plus to play it. I think Sony had a hand in this bad idea. I think they just want to shut fans up about Dino Crisis. I guess making money is not important anymore. Just like Sony and Bloodborne.

Massively overrated. Death Stranding is not a game. It's the worst quest of an RPG in long form. It's like a really cheap scifi movie made for TV. His other games feel like they were written by a 13 year old bored in math class.

It's sad. Bloodlines deserve a full remake and would sell easily. This sequel will probably kill the IP for good. Too many people trying to make it different than the original which nobody wants. All they have to do is modernize the design of the first one. Developers overthink everything which fails.

It's just a countdown to another failure. They can't save this game from the wrath of the fans at this point. No matter how you feel about the character, there was an agenda. That limits creativity and that is why their games keep getting worse. Just let people make a game and stop giving them a checklist from the top.

Not a bug. It was a test to see reaction. Sony is determined to keep doing the wrong things now.

None of this matters. Physical will continue to die no matter what anyone wants.

Hulst has a serious problem since he takes thing personally. If he personaly likes it, it's good. If he doesn't, then it's dead. He didn't like Days Gone so it was dead. Doesn't matter it sold over 8 millions copies, he just didn't like it. He needs to be fired since he lacks professionalism.

Enough to remake Bloodborne and make a sequel. Sony is imploding at this point.

Sony is just lazy and now greedy. The greed should have them making remakes of games people really want like Bloodborne, but for some reason they are just refusing to listen. So many games that would easily sell and need remakes but instead we are getting games that are just them changing a few settings in the graphics options. More reason that PC will always be best.

Sony has to be doing it on purpose at this point. How can you ignore the pile of money that is Bloodborne unless you are just being petty. This is what happens when they go unchecked by competition. The ego is out of control.

Anybody connected to EA in anyway should never be allowed to talk. Incompetence is a job requirement.

@nessisonett Ok, first of all he was a footnote in history. He wasn't a samurai by any accounts. The more important thing is why did they choose him over ANY other notable Japanese samurai in a huge history? They completely ignored centuries of names to pick this one person. If you can't see EXACTLY why they did it then I don't know what to say.

@RoomWithaMoose I never said I was upset. I simply pointed out the motive for why they did it. Good try on getting on your soapbox to cause drama. And if you had read my whole message you would have seen that I want them to explore other cultures.

Imagine scouring Japanese history to find one anomaly that you build an entire game off of to just pretend you care about diversity. What a shame. They should have just celebrated the rich Japanese history in this game and made another game devoted to another culture. So many cultures out there with great stories that could be easily woven into a AC game. But that would have cost more than a token gesture.

Sony will not learn anything from this disaster. They will fire some lower people and move on. The meetings will include blaming a toxic gamer space and that gamers are idiots. I'm sure they are already working on the next live service games.
